I came here on a Monday for brunch so naturally there wasn't a wait. I wish I took a pic of the coconut pancake I got! It was the star of my breakfast. It's a seasonal pancake flavor. I'm not sure if it was topped with a sweet butter or if it was frosting but it was also topped with coconut shavings. Omg soo good! My friend ordered the eggs Benedict & is still raving about how great brunch was and that was a week ago! I can't believe this was my first time here. Definitely will be back to try out more of the menu! Great service! The waiters were kind & attentive. Parking lot can get pretty full even on a Monday morning! I had really been looking forward to the pork belly/habanero eggs Benedict and was a little bummed out when I found out those are no longer on the menu. Sad. However, I ordered their regular eggs Benedict and turns out I loved that every bit as much. They use shaved ham and it's generously applied and just delightful. One of my companions chose biscuits and gravy with the other opting for shrimp and grits. Both enjoyed their choices. One got a Bloody Mary that was as beautiful as I'm told it tasted. We had an amazing breakfast at Snooze and everything was perfect. The gluten-free pancakes were incredible. We tried the strawberry, sweet potato, and cinnamon roll, and all three were delicious. Light, flavorful, and you would never know they were gluten-free. Our server Stephanie was fantastic. Her customer service was truly wonderful and she made the whole experience feel special. She even surprised me with a London Fog pancake topped with a candle for my birthday! It was such a thoughtful touch that made our visit unforgettable. 5 stars all the way around. I was visiting California for Father's Day (so you know it was busy). Joined the waitlist at around 10:15 and our quoted time was 11:20, but we got bumped up closer to 11. Upon arrival, we were greeting so enthusiastically! It was busy, but everyone seemed to be in good spirits. The restaurant is about 2x bigger than my Snooze in Arizona. We got a seat outside (party of 6) and Carol was our server. She did a great job tending to everyone's requests on such a busy holiday and thank you to her and the kitchen for getting all of our orders right. An amazing experience to catch up with my family. And, it was all of their first times. I think it's safe to say we made some ravers! I'll be visiting again next time I'm in Cali. read more

Double check if you are lactose free.... This place is walkable, so ends up being a semi common breakfast spot. We usually sit at the bar to avoid wait times, plus the servers there are always nice and attentive. I got the tacos, and my boyfriend got an omelette and blueberry pancakes. Sad they no longer have the barbacoa/short rib. Steak is a bit drier than that was, but toppings are still good, and portion is large. My boyfriend asked for the cheese to be removed, and this is the third time it still came with cheese. It's always a bummer to have to wait for them to remake, and we try to emphasize the no-cheese, there just is always a miscommunication between the input of the order and the cooking staff. What is it about this restaurant that keeps me coming back? Is it the delicious food? The people? The ambiance? Yes, yes and yes. On our third visit to this Huntington Beach Shangri-La, as soon as we entered, Katie, the hostess who quite frankly, should be the official Snooze hospitality director, greeted us, paused a moment and said, "I think I remember you - you drive from LA". She was so happy to see us and seated us right away AND at our favorite table. Passing through to get to the outside patio, we saw AndI and she saw us. With a smile, she welcomed us back. We were seated and in an instant we met our waitress, Gaia. She has worked at a few Snooze locations and was as lovely as everyone we've met in the past. Once again, the food here is simply heaven in a meal. The strawberry shortcake, chocolate ganache and buttermilk pancake flight was a perfect start to our "Foodcation". I've written before about their outstanding eggs benedict and it is as perfect as always. Greg, the manager heard we were back and came over to say hello and also to thank us for all the kind things we have said about Snooze. I've never seen a manager of a restaurant who is as beloved by a staff as he is. Greg thinks the world of them and it was evident as he talked to us and a few of them came by. We heard that Greg got married last week so we were happy to hear about his joy. I can't get over how amazing this restaurant is and I hope that Snooze grows in size with more locations. It would be wonderful for them to open one in Los Angeles but we will make the journey on special occasions to Huntington Beach because Greg and his company are like family now. We remain steadfast in recommending Snooze in Huntington Beach to everyone. First time here! It was a Sunday so there was a small wait but they offer a wait list so we just put our name down and drove the 15 min and by the time we got there we were ready. This is located in Bella Terra, so parking could be easy or hard depending on volume of people at Bella Terra! The lavender latter was great! Just the right amount of lavender and sweetness! The Bella Bella Benedict is their take on an Italian benadict. I LOVE benedicts so tried it. The prosciutto was yummy and I quite enjoyed the toast underneath as it had the perfect crunch. The egg was done correctly but the hollandaise was just alright. They added cream cheese to it and I thought that was unnecessary. But overall I would get it again! Also they have amazing hash browns! My guy got the GF sweet potato pancakes. The pancake itself was delicious! Again, full disclosure, I have been to this place multiple times and I would have sworn to you that I have reviewed it on Yelp. Apparently, not the case. This is a long overdue review of a very good breakfast spot. This place is one of those top five breakfast spots when you're in SoCal. The atmosphere has a great easy-going vibe. They have a full bar inside, and some of the best pancakes you're ever going to eat in your entire life. On this day, I chose the habanero pork belly eggs benedict. Benedict. I know that's a mouthful, but so is the breakfast! As one would think. It was perfectly balanced and very very tasty. I have to say this, we had one of the best waitresses I have ever had in the history of the world. Like no kidding, Jaz E (Jasmine)is in my top five favorite waitresses of all time. You absolutely need ask for her. Do yourself a favor, and order a pancake flight. You get three pancakes on one plate to try out. Lot of fun in a big group. Bottom line? My boyfriend encourages me to indulge in my brunch obsession. When we had plans in Huntington Beach he found some brunch options for me to choose from and I picked Snooze. I kept an eye on the Yelp waitlist and hopped on when we were the distance away that matched the live wait time. By the time we arrived, we were seated pretty quickly. Highly recommend the Yelp waitlist because there were a lot of people waiting around in front. My boyfriend had their Corned Beed Hash ($16.75) that has grass fed and dry rubbed corned beef, hashbrowns, caramelized poblanos and onions, and 2 eggs with toast. I had their Shrimp and Grits ($19.50) that's their cheesy grits with cajun sauteed shrimp, andouille sausage, sauteed peppers and onions topped with a sunny side up. And I also had a Bacon Bloody Mary. Love love love their food. I am a fan of Snooze and they do a great job being consistent among their locations, and this HB locations is just as delicious as other locations I have been to. These are without a doubt the best shrimp and grits. I also love their benedicts, pancakes, and French toast. A great brunch spot in this area. So cozy here....warm inside. I can smell fluffy pancakes and coffee. We only waited about 5 mins this time after I booked my name on the waiting list via text 30 mins ago in a car from home. Everything was smooth but I asked our server, I liked sausages last time, I'd like to order extra sausages for me besides 3 Blueberry pancakes. I thought she understood my fave sausages but she brought me a round flat shaped chicken sausage. That was not my fave. I didn't say anything. I already so much headaches early morning w my bank, paypal, and foreign vendor to deal with the compromised credit card. I asked the receptionists at the front, if I can get emergency pain killer like Tylenol or Advil just in case for the employees. But they answered me No. I got frastrated so much and I barely hold my body. Normally I carry emergency pills w me all the time but I switched my bag this morning....I thought they have first Kit like gym, work for everyone. I was not happy about the service before I started eating. Why my Sat morning started frastrated???? I spent so much time to contact 3 different customer services to claim the compromised transactions. No more energy left once I sat at the table. Food was typical-I don't know how to rate since we got the basic, eggs, bacon and toast; my friend got the egg Benedict. We also got juices which was fresh but I wished it was less ice. They're typically busy so the service is sometimes slow but it was especially slow this time (ordering, food coming out, getting the bill, etc). However, the food was delicious as always. Love Snooze. Solid brunch spot for us after moving back to Garden Grove. They have a lot of good deals every week if you download their app. Our favorite from here is their pancake flight.
