Yay! Back again. The majority of the food is exceptional. The one-off was that the.fries were way over-salted this time. The server said that they have a new cook on the fries and she would notify him. (I hope this isn't too presumptuous but if that person is a smoker, they're not gonna be able to taste the salt the same way that we do. Just a note for whoever reads this). Black forest Sundae was good....I would've loved to have had more cherry. The ice cream dominated this dessert. The beef bourguignon tasted similar to what we've had at le pigeon.... Just a note that the sauce is heavy on the wine, and this time, had a bit of heat! All in all a good meal, thank you!

First time in ages trying their new Westside location and loved it. Nice ambience - open and airy, parking could be challenging, great service and all around classic Portland dining now in Beaverton . Had happy hour oysters, Steamed Buns, Steak Tartar, Foie Gras Dumplings ( the taste excellent but skin was way undercooked ), crispy broccolini. All exceeded expectations except the Dumplings

My husband selected this newer location for our early Valentine's Day dinner. They were noted for their James Beard award winning chef. So here we go! The Beaverton location Is housed in an old theater so looks deceiving from the outside. Don't let that stop you! This quaint bar is really a lovely restaurant that serves taste bud bursting food that should not be missed! We started with the oysters in the half shell and a pomegranate soda drink that the server recommended... plus a very delicious pear and goat cheese salad. Actually, everything we had our servers recommended and EVERYTHING was amazing! I had the braised rabbit that touted mashed potatoes with some sort of tomato sauce I cannot describe except to say I didn't know rabbit tasted so good. Hubby had the braised pork short ribs that were atop sweet potatoes and a lovely sauce that made this dish a sweet and savory sensation! Truthfully, I liked his dish a bit more. Then got dessert, I had the s'mores icebox cake and he did the pineapple soft serve. We switched and demolished them both! The bill was not as bad as we expected... $140ish for two The downside? Parking... you have to park in the street and we got blocked in really tight but eventually made it out

Our server Brook matched our energy immediately - he was amazing! He made our experience so enjoyable and engaging from explaining every dish with such excitement and detail to the timing of our starters and entrees. 10/10 across the board. Definitely starting a petition to open up a location in LA but in the meantime, I will be stopping by anytime I'm in Portland. Thank you for an incredible dining experience!

Wow--days later and my taste buds are still dancing. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a meal this memorable. I have no idea what they did to the roasted broccoli, but it was hands down the best I've ever had. I guarantee that if you're trying to get a child to eat broccoli, this is the dish that will do it--there's no way they'd turn it down. And then there was the shining star: the gnocchi. Not to be repetitive, but it was truly the best gnocchi I've ever had in my life. To top off an already amazing meal, we ordered the Black Forest Sundae--literally the cherry on top. I rarely order dessert at lunch, but this was absolutely worth every calorie. Everything was outstanding: our server Caleb, the ambiance, and of course the food. My only advice is to make a reservation. It was incredibly busy when we went for lunch, and we were very lucky to get seated without one--but I doubt that's always the case.

My husband and I went to Canard on Tuesday for our anniversary. The restaurant is really nice and lively but very hard to find parking. Staff were warm and friendly. We ordered the steak tartare, duck frites, crispy broccolini, and glazed pork rib. We didn't order the Oeufs but it was brought out as a gift. There was some confusion tho because lack of communication, we sent the server back since we didn't order it but later we were told it was a gift and she dropped it back off, which was sweet but I don't particularly like deviled eggs. The best dish was the crispy broccolini! It was delicious. The steak tartare was ok. The duck frites were a bit salty and kinda chewy. The glazed pork rib wasn't too bad but it felt kinda dry. I would say the restaurant isn't too bad but it's not worth the hype.

Great interior, nice selection of food, and friendly service. So glad to see Canard in Beaverton. Their French toast was delightful and bruleed to perfection and I got a breakfast plate as well. My friend enjoyed her gnocchi as well. Looking forward to trying it again and perhaps trying their dinner menu.

I've been to the original one and lived it. Was so excited to hear they were opening up in Beaverton! Made it in today. Got here around 11:30- not to bad. Busy, but no wait. My server Zaida was friendly and helpful. I ordered two of their Sliders and the omelet. Omg- Fantastic! The Sliders are like a high end White Castle- so good and cheesy! The omelet comes with a side salad of greens with a lite vinaigrette dressing. The omelet itself is literally with an herbed goat cheese filling. Amazing and they complimented each other perfectly. I can't wait to comeback!

We could not be happier about our first experience of Canard. Despite some confusion about whether we were getting a Pre Fix dinner or from their standard menu, we loved what we got from their main menu. I didn't realize when I booked the reservation that it was for the main dining area and not for their once a month Pre Fix dinner upstairs with the chef. We will definitely be back for the Special Chef prepared dinner upstairs. Service doesn't get any better than this. These folks know what they're doing.

Met a friend for lunch and can't wait to return for dinner and/or happy hour. The service was great and I loved my broccoli cobb salad. The fried chicken was incredible. Only thing I was underwhelmed by was the Hawaiian sweet rolls. I'll be back!

This local restaurant right in downtown Beaverton offers some amazing dishes with a french accent. The restaurant is open in the morning to early afternoon for breakfast or brunch, and then reopens in the evening with a separate dinner menu offering different items. The menu is focused around duck based entrees, however, they have many other dishes to offer as well including steak and breakfast foods. I went for brunch with some friends and we ordered the garlic naan, duck stack, and steamed burgers. All the food was great but the pancakes with duck gravy was absolutely delectable and I would definitely recommend. The ambiance was fairly casual and they offer a full bar should you be interested in a drink. The server was very friendly and was quick to answer any questions we had regarding the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some upper end food or are just interested in trying something a little french.

The service was fantastic. We went around noon. There was not very many people there. The menu is kind of limited, but everything we tried was really good. It is just really expensive.

Tried OR City & Beaverton locations, meal & happy hour. Upscale, pricey, very limited happy hour menu. Gourmet but not pure French.

Definitely my least favorite of the 3 locations. Parking, layout, service. Don't waste your time. Oregon City location is the best!

Really solid experience all around…read more The baked dish was rich and well done--great depth of flavor in the sauce, and the melted top layer added a nice texture without feeling heavy. Comfort food, but clearly made with care. The shrimp dish stood out too. The shrimp were tender and fresh, with a clean flavor that paired well with the tomatoes and light seasoning. Simple, balanced, and executed well. The wine pairing complemented everything nicely without overpowering the food, which I appreciated. What made the biggest impression, though, was the service--especially from the owners. They were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely engaged without being over the top. You can tell they take pride in what they're doing, and it shows in how they treat their guests. Overall, a place I'd definitely come back to and recommend to others looking for a quality meal in West Linn.

Inside is dark and cozy, perfect for a rainy afternoon or evening. My only complaint is there is a lot of wood and all the hard surfaces don't reflect noise so it's sometimes challenging to hear. They have a wonderful assortment of wines and not all local. For me, that's a good thing. Yes I love a Willamette Valley Pinot or a Washington Cabernet, but I get a lot of those when I'm visiting these areas, which I do frequently. At Muse you can enjoy a red from France, Spain, Italy, as well as local. Lots of whites and some bubbles, too. You can do a tasting of three half glass pours of your choice, or order a glass. Some nights they have tastings that they have preselected. Last night, based on Alex's recommendation, after telling him my preferences, I had the 2021 Crozes-Hermitage from Paris. It was a bigger red, but so smooth. Next I went with the Rioja Gran Reserva which was more fruit forward. Another winner. Their cheese and jam plates are fabulous, the cheese especially delicious, and pair perfectly with the wines. Have a feeling I'll be back frequently to this charming neighborhood wine since my friend works out next door, so it's a perfect meeting spot.
