Took my grandson for his birthday. He had a choice of any restaurant and this is one of his favorites! The service was fast and great. The food is so delicious! I ordered coffee although it was mid afternoon. I believe it may have been instant coffee though not positive. They sang for his birthday which I appreciated. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food was decent. The service sucked. When you have to ask the next tables waitress 3 times to call your waitress, it doesn't say much about the service. The drinks were not refilled, plates never cleared and side order of bean and rice should nit take 20 minutes. Extremely disappointing.

Very good customer service and experience. The food was good along with the cleanliness of the place. The staff was easy to deal with and friendly

First visit to Cancun, it was very good. I had the Pollo Yucatan, which is a grilled chicken breast with grilled red, green and yellow peppers, onions, tomatoes, zucchini and mushrooms. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the vegetables did need a little salt, but the dish was great with a little added seasoning...rice, beans and tortillas were also included. They had Tres Leches Cake on the menu, which I love, so I had to get in on some of that action. The cake was great, soaked with the sweet milk with whipped cream on top and drizzled with chocolate syrup, a really nice ending to the meal. They have a good variety to choose from on the menu, they even offer Horchata to drink, which I did have and it was really good. The service was great on my visit, I'm sure I'll stop back by when I'm in the area.

Great food and drinks. The verde sauce and mole were excellent. I always eat here when I'm in town. Best in town that I have found.

Service was definitely underwhelming this round, and honestly the food didn't hold up either. I'm a Birria girl through and through and I played it safe with what what I know. The birria tacos came a bit OVERstuffed for me and they fell apart immediately, and there was zero real flavor. My margarita was giving straight strawberry syrup with a splash of "hope." Wait time for initial service was 30+ minutes, and we were told they were short-staffed. Our server was on day 2, so no shade to him at all -- that was a management/setup issue. It just felt like no one was really helping control the chaos or wait times. After eating, we still waited another 30 minutes just to get our checks. Not to mention, there was an extra margarita on my tab that I didn't order. Between the noise level and language barriers, I ended up using a translator app just to clear it up... which honestly is my sign to start my Spanish lessons ASAP. Overall, I won't pull up for the party nights but maybe a chill Sunday visit would hit better, and I'll definitely be trying a different menu item until those birria tacos redeem themselves

The mural was giving Wynwood/Miami vibes and I love a reminder of home! We split the Birria Pizza which was definitely enough for two. It was delicious and cheesy and so well seasoned! Service was quick and everyone was kind and helpful! We will be back!

It was the end of the festival and we were lucky enough to snag one of the last available pulled pork arepas, fried yuca and sweet plantains. The girl taking our order, Maya, was so friendly and personable. Our food was ready quickly and came out piping hot and fresh. The fried yuca was crispy with a drizzle of delicious green sauce. The sweet plantains were fried to the point where the exterior of the plantain was just caramelized enough, but the star of the show was the pulled pork arepa. Imagine a pulled pork sandwich with crispy arepas as your bun topped with jalapeño coleslaw and pickled onions. The flavors of the toppings combined with the juicy pulled pork is top tier. Everyone was friendly and made you feel right at home. Will 100 percent be following them on Instagram @lamonona2024 to see where they post up next!

I prefer the pork, bean and cheese option but other meats and a veggie option are also available. These are paired with a lightly pickled cabbage slaw. We also had the beef Pastelitos. This crunchy, flaky pastry is stuffed with meat and cheese and is paired with pico de gallo, lettuce and cotija cheese. Delicious handmade sopes and the chicken soup are also a must try. If you want to try some authentic Salvadorian cuisine, La Ceiba is a must try. Don't forget they are cash only. P.S. A brand new Panaderia is opening soon right next door offering a variety of Latin desserts! Watch out S Fulton!

My biggest problem is pricing from their menu never matches what you end up paying. There's no itemized receipt either and they often end up forgetting items you ordered, but without an itemized receipt you never know if they added the charge without providing the item or not. The ambiguous nature of menu prices lends itself to discriminatory pricing. Unfortunately for that reason I will not be back. Based on the more recent reviews it seems they have chosen to continue this practice of discriminatory pricing. Also, it's cash only so that adds to the headache of how much cash to bring. There's no reason why the owner can't just take a marker or white out and update their pricing, leading me to believe this is intentional.
