Well let's see. We did online order for pick up and we ordered meatball appetizer, spinach dip, and pepperoni pizza. Said ready in 35 minutes. OK. We live 4 minutes from the place. I wait at home. Get there 5 minutes early. Told when I arrived that the kitchen is 15 -20 minutes behind. OK. 10 minutes later I asked what my ticket time was, was told 12 more tickets in front. Asked for refund and cancel. He walks off, comes back and simply says your refund will be returned within 12-14 days. I asked for refund receipt, again he leaves but with returns with I'm assuming the mgr. He states since it was online order it could not be refunded. I continue to wait. He comes back 8-10 minutes later with a pizza and says the rest will be coming. 10 minutes later I get the meatballs and spinach dip. Great.. warm apps and cold pizza! BUT IF I HAD TRUSTED THE STATEMENT OF YOUR REFUND WILL BE RETURNED IN 12-14 DAYS FROM THE FIRST GUY I'D HAVE LOST MY MONEY! BEWARE! read more

Stay away from this location until the excitement dies down and they figure out their staffing volumes. We ordered online on Friday and were given a 30 minute window to pick up our pizza. When I arrived, it was complete chaos. The restaurant is small and the entry way too cramped. The hostess stand and the to go counter are right beside each other. Couple that with people waiting to be seated and people trying to get their to go orders and you have too many people in a tiny area. I was told it would be another additional 15 minutes on my pizza. Totally fine- I assumed it would be busy. 15 minutes was not a good estimate. It ended up being an additional 40 minutes on top of the additional 15. I placed my order at 6:18 (online) and finally walked out close to 8:00 with pizzas in hand. When we got home with the pizza, I could tell right away it was no good. The crust was soggy on the cheese pizza and the cheese was barely melted. We've been to other locations and loved the pizza. We definitely hope this location works out the kinks so that we can return. Sadly our first visit was very disappointing. read more

Visited this location for Sunday lunch. We went around 11:30 and were seated right away. Our server, Luke, was friendly and attentive. Kiddos had pepperoni pizza which both received positive reviews from the littles. Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. The Mustang was our choice today and it was sooo good although not spicy. Do not go to this restaurant. My whole family went to try out the new location, and there were two hairs in my pizza and one in my mom's. And not just short hairs... they were long and disgusting. We called out the manager and he offered to remake it... but obviously there's a problem in the kitchen if there are hairs in the food. He also mentioned there would be hair "every once in a blue moon." First of all, there should never be hair in food if correct standards are followed. Second, it's not every once in a blue moon if there were three hairs in our pizza. We wanted him to comp our food, but he refused. Bad management, bad food and health standards, bad restaurant. Had a great lunch today at Cane Rosso! We have dined at a few different locations; we experienced both good and bad food quality depending on where we went, and we definitely have our favorite spot, but it is 20+ miles away. We were thrilled to find that the Sachse location is right up there at the TOP, and we don't have to drive across town anymore! Do yourself a favor and get the Honey Bastard. So many delicious options but the HB is our go-to every time. Our server Jimmy was excellent. Just the right amount of humor and attention. He helped turn our simple lunch into a great experience.
