Perfect amount of cheese and my veal parmagiana was seasoned well and had the right kind of bite, easily cut with a fork! The stuffed shells were so flavorful and the pasta had good bite to it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. HOWEVER, my attitude quickly changed as I was greeted by the outstanding wait staff. Over the course of my visit, I was checked on several times by what seemed to be either the owners or managers. In the heart of a busy city, these men went the extra mile to make me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. It was a very nice experience. I ordered the lasagna on the server's recommendation. What a plate of food! The meat sauce was not skimpy at all....lots of beef and flavorful seasoning. The noodles were soft while still firm enough to maintain the shape. The generous portion and the really soft bread were a great dinner to bring a long day to an end. As a lover of Italian food, I plan to visit several area restaurants over this weekend.
