Never had a grooming from her before, called to get information. I made a comment about what I normally pay for a grooming session and then she wants to charge $30 extra for my size dog which is a shitzu-Maltese mix.. I mentioned what I normally pay to see if she would be flexible at all, and she got really bitter immediately. She was really sour assuming that the places I have gone to must not do X, Y, and Z..when I tried to reason with her, she had wanted no part of it and to just be done..so then said she had to go and hung up on me. Wow! I was stunned. I understand that people charge different things, but getting offensive about cost or bitter with potential clients is never the way to go. It's okay though because she had insurance which she kept bringing up, so I guess she can continue to talk to people this way. read more

I've used Tracy off and on for 20+ years. Off because we were in between animals. I've recently become a 2 dog household and #2 will also be groomed here. I tried commercial groomers 20 years ago as a closer to home option. And came right back to Tracy for the quality. As long as she and her team are grooming, they've got my babies as clients! read more

Absolute rip off. We've used Tracy before and sent family from out of town to Tracy. They called IN ADVANCE and were told grooming would start at $79. Tracy was aware of the size of the dog and the breed. They get the dog groomed every 6 weeks and travel all over the country but have NEVER paid more than $80 so $79 seemed to be inline. They dropped the dog off and went to pick him up 3 hours later and were told the total was $210! Absolutely ridiculous. It was beyond obvious that Tracy took complete advantage of the fact that she knew they were from out of town and would not be back frequently and up charged. Would never recommend this place again nor will we be bringing out dogs back. read more

I was at work when we used Canine Creations to trim up our two dogs... A Keeshond and a Pomeranian... If you know anything about these animals, you will know that they are walking fur balls. Anyway, She did a pretty good job of trimming them both up (my wife asked for a lion cut) which I would have preferred a little more mane on my Keeshond, but what the hey, the dog was probably relieved to lose some of that fur. So was I... I mean 1 pass in 1 room = full vacuum bag. Anyway, I would use her again, but I'm letting the dog crow her fur back for winter (it'll probably take that long to get it all back!) read more

Tracy arrived this morning and went right to work grooming our little girl and did such a great job. I would give Tracy 1000 stars if I could. We have 2 older mixed breed dogs. Our oldest dog (Bo) gets extremely stressed in any type of confined area. Crates or small enclosed rooms are out of the question. We found Tracy's place to be perfect for our dogs. She allowed Bo to stand next to her & guard his "sister" Sadie while she was being bathed & groomed. They did a good job, very prompt & the dogs were completed within the estimated time. This enabled us to complete some errands within a specific allotted time. Staff was professional & also helpful when we asked for recommendations for other services. Cost for service was reasonable & comparable to other local groomers. read more

Have used their services in both the store location and mobile grooming. My dogs are not afraid to go to the groomer as they had been previously. Tracy was a God send when one of my dogs was having a medical problem and she referred me to a fabulous specialist as I had to cancel the appt because of the issue. I will never use this place again either. And actually, I wasn't given a choice. Tracy just called me and said she will not continue to groom my one pup because I don't take my others to her. I chose to take my other dogs to a different local groomer, because Tracy's prices kept increasing to a point that it was financially difficult to continue and her hours of operation for shop grooming instead of mobile grooming do not work for me. I continued to take the one to her because he does better in a smaller environment, like a mobile truck. He is a difficult dog and her and her workers handled him well. But I guess that doesn't matter. You're supposed to give or ALL your business or you get none! Tracy didn't ask me why I wasn't bringing the others to her or anything. She just said she wouldn't continue, that it wasn't "fair" that she got the liability dog, while the other groomer got the other business. How very childish and unprofessional. read more

I'm in Illinois visiting family and found Canine Creations Grooming. I spoke to the owner Tracy which told me Goldendoodles start at $89.00. I booked my dogs appointment and when I went to pick him up almost 3 hrs. later the groomer charged me $210.00. I choked and said, "HOW MUCH", she repeated that amount and said they charge $70.00 an hour then proceeded to tell me he took 4 hrs. to dry him (he wasn't even there for 4 hrs.). I have my dog groomed every 6 weeks at $80 per grooming. I really feel taken advantage of. Maybe she feels like she will never see my dog again since I live out of town. I have a lot of family here and will spread the word. read more

I will never use this place again .. I've been a customer for several years and they just reemed me a new one for being late getting back from running an errand. It was a snafu and I in no way intended to disrupt their operations. the groomer was RUDE when I returned and I was apologizing. The owner had the nerve to leave me a 5 min repremanding message on my voicemail about courtesy as if they have never been running a few min late before. I am DONE with this company. Their work is not that great to treat repeat customers the way they did to me. read more

Dawn, one of the Canine Creations groomers, was fantastic! All three of my dogs got their nails clipped, and one got a haircut. The dogs can be a handful with strangers, but she had no problem working with them. And my dog who got his hair cut looks beautiful! I highly recommend Canine Creations -- and Dawn! read more

I called Creations By Tracy.As she explained to me that her services included cut,wash,blow dry,anal glands squeezed,nail clipping nails polished,hair in ears removed and pet safe cologne.I made the appointment . The girl came the next day and I explained I wanted done what I said the day before she even asked again about how short and off she went.Well an hour later she returned and I was concerned about my little one shivering and such I. Cuddled her took and set her down in stairs she immediate ran up and had to discuss that she did not have change for the money I was offering her and I asked about crediting me for next time and was told. That Tracy does not do that and with that she walked away.I then went in and got a good look at my baby who was steadily whipping her head back and forth frantically so mi went to check her ears and they were bleeding I'm guessing from the hair removal and took a good look at her realizing she was not shaved and unevenly cut nails not done clipped or polished no pretty smell and anal glad undone and she had too much hair so I called Tracy and she told that unless you ask Meir specific things they are not auto included after the day before she told me all those things were included so she sent girl out next day " think of how traumatic it was to have to go through that a second time" She showed up the same time and did the right job Dept forgot to paint nails and buffer the nails "which I fear without buffing or filing them they will split on her" she simply opened the door to my house released my dog and left without a hello,here she is, nothing from her she did. It very quietly.Now 2 hours later I got a call from Tracy herself figuring she was to ask-how my angel looked.But I was wrong , she immediately heard the growl in Her voice when she started with my groomers do not want to do my "dog" anymore and I'm a bad person and such. the only thing I asked the girl was. Would it be cheaper to have mine and the friend whose dog they have done before together and save the 15 dollar driving fee and the girl said she would ask.Somehow by the time the girl went from here to there the story changed and Tracy called and told me I was no longer her customer nor is the person who recommended me to her cause she said we are bad people and said the girl said I was to pay her to do the dogs...which was not what was said.Now generally it would not other me so,but the fact that she took account what her girl said without asking me what was said.She lashed out at me yelling and insulting. now I'm a 40 year old woman and I'm not into the "deal"thing I have respect for people and their businesses but with all the business this other person has given her "a really good customer" she condemned someone who had nothing to do with any of this not to mention this person is a 76 year old elderly person who needs someone to come to do her baby and she did nothing wrong. Needless to say my experience was good the second time around except for what they did not do after requested , my poor baby has been traumatized and hiding since getting dropped off. the other person who has put a review down was right and explained Tracy to a tee when she said that she does not let you talk and I did not feeli needed to defend myself to her but I would have if given a chance to a word in.Tracy herself might be a good groomer but these girls she's hiring to do the job at whatever she's paying them seem to be doing a bad job for the money requested.I know I won't be referring her to any friends or neighbors and will have a lot to talk about at the town meetings. there are other groomers in the area and some do in fact come to your house "Creations By Tracy" is NOT the only groomer in town... And I am sure others have respect for their customers especially returning monthly customers. read more

I am a new customer in Oswego, Tracy was great to work with to find a convent time for the mobile van service. Sheri was the groomer, my two shitzues look so great after she was done. The best service I have ever received from any groomer! I 100% recommend Canine Creations by Tracy. read more
