Never okay of course, but it's a pet store and I imagine it's happened before. The owner was so horrible. Instead of making me aware and allowing me to clean it and pay for the pile of stuff I had - he came out from behind the counter slurring his words, accusing us of this being the second time (we'd never seen this man before in my life and I've only been on the store twice prior) and wouldn't stop mumbling about how awful we were. He had that blacked out drunk look in his eyes where he was staring right through you. It was extremely uncomfortable. We put our stuff down and left. I'm not justifying my dogs actions but if you can't handle a dog having an accident in a pet store then you probably shouldn't own one - or don't allow pets in.

Brought our puppy here to be trained and we went with a "group class"…read more The other dog in the same exact room and area as our dog made the training impossible, because each dog was just distracted by the other one. The classes went okay at first until the end of them when the trainer said we're going to work on "socializing". The other dog was much much larger and quickly came over to ours and overpowering, literally pinning our dog to the ground. The trainer stated that our dog would "bite or bark when they don't feel safe" but instead, our little dog simply lied down and peed himself because he was so scared... This evidently caused behavioral issues with our puppy and caused him to be scared of other dogs and strangers. HIGHLY do NOT recommend bringing your dog here to be trained... Also the prices of items there are absurd

They gave us the opportunity to spend time with our pup, they answered all our questions and provided us with a goodie pack full of things he needed as well as toys he loves. Our adoption came with a microchip, 3 free training classes on site and one month of pet insurance which are so very useful. I want to reiterate how kind and diligent everyone was during our visit. We were asked a number of questions to make sure we were a good fit with Iggy. We were also given time to walk with him around the grounds and see his behavior indoors. It was a great experience. I am also really grateful to any organization that is bringing dogs (especially hounds) north to find forever homes, indoors with families. It is a kind and wonderful thing to help these dogs in need. But then to extend the service to offer behavioral training is really going that extra mile to assist families and their new pets with a smooth transition and tools for lifelong success. The Landlord even called this woman while in the parking lotwith Leo. I have all of Leo's paper work, shots and payment in my name proving I'm the owner of Leo. I bought food for her cat Luna and Leo. I figured Leo could visit and play with Luna and brought a large climbing and scratching post. I asked her if she was giving me my kitten back and she said, NO! I'm the rightful owner of, Leo. He loves me and I love and miss him. I called the police but they can't get involved. A woman at MSPCA knows the woman and was mad I called the police. I didn't call about MSPCA. This woman at MSPCA came out with security screaming like a "crazy lunatic" - you're not to come here again!!!! All this because on Easter Day- I turned around and saw a black kitten everyone left behind and took him home. The last time I saw, Leo he was living in a dirty house and the kitty littler box was filled to the rim and he was walking on top of it. I cleaned the littler a couple of times a day and added fresh litter if required. I would have grabbed him but they're 3 against one. They have a cat Luna, why steal someone's pet they paid for and all his shots? Leo could have visited anytime to play with Luna. All paper belong to me.

York Bark & Play makes sure all of their clients are up to date on immunizations. Their facility is very neat and quite roomy. They offer many options for my dogs stay, including hours of socialization. My girls had to stay over an extra night and York Bark & Play had no problem accommodating them. When I picked them up, they were freshly shampooed and relaxed. They were tired out from all the socialization! When we pulled into York Bark & Play a couple of weeks later (just to see how they'd react) they got excited. A place they are happy to go must have treated them very well indeed.
