Where should I start: My aunt saw an ad for the Boston seaport holiday event called snowport". Her…read moreand I reviewed the vendors before attending, since she has 3 dogs, I have one dog, and my close neighbors have 3 dogs, my aunt and I decided to drive to oak grove, pay $9 for parking, then we each paid $2.40, one way, so $4.80 each to get to haymarket and back to oak grove, We then walked 2.7 miles each way 5.04 miles lol to get to snowport, specifically to check out pet wants. We arrived, had to wait over 30 minutes to get into the event, we then immediately went over to Pet Wants. The woman behind the counter did not greet us, ask us if we needed help, she in fact did not look up at us or acknowledge us despite no one else in her kiosk. In fact my aunt and I were grappling to understand the products on the wall, because the product packaging was not clear, neither was the pricing, I was trying to see what products would be best for a 15 year old dog, such as soft treats, and also another dog who is only 10 weeks old. my aunt then said to me "oh this left side is for cats only", then the woman behind the counter said "the decor on the wall is not a representation of the displayed products, it is decor only". Then she put her head back down and continued to not engage with us, still never asked us if we needed help. LMFAO. My aunt and I immediately left, My 77 year old aunt said "wow that woman is a snob, glad we didn't buy christmas gifts for the 7 dogs". After that situation I googled the company, and its actually a franchise, that states they have locations in Newton, Littleton and Portsmouth NH. I also noticed while there, they did have tons of dog bones that were not wrapped, on the right bottom side of the kios, where I'm sure germs and bacterial is breeding, your dogs could get sick.... I highly advise against this company, 1. zero customer service experience. 2, product packaging is useless looking and 3, other products are not packaged and hanging out in downtown Boston obtaining germs. This company literally lost out a potential huge sale, but also lost out on future social media marketing by me, as I always highlight wonderful companies and products. This is not a local company, their website says its a franchise, so I am not even sure why its allowed to be having a kiosk at the Snowport event, as that is reserved for local small businesses. Additionally if you click on the company website the company listed, its defunct, they changed it to www.petwants.com, as this is their new website they list with the boston seaport snowport event. Appears this company is very sketchy, and useless.
https://www.petwants.com/ . i saw ZERO fresh pet foods, ZERO, then again the woman behind the counter was useless, she should have just stayed home.
