My puppy is happy to go there every time. She LOVES seeing familiar faces and the employees are pleasant and helpful. We have had to use them for last minute boarding and day care since we started and they are truly there for their clients. I know I can rely on them and they listen to any concerns I have. I took my puppy for intro grooming to another place and that service messed up her cut. Brianna, the groomer at Gemini, is currently helping to get her shape back and she has had detailed conversations with me on how she will help. My puppy is looking adorable again. Trainers there are very detailed and knowledgeable with what they do and how your puppy responds. I think I may go for additional training. Overall, I'm very pleased and would highly recommend them. Now I understand why their evaluation process is so detailed. They truly care about their dogs.

A few weeks after I spread the mulch on my garden a healthy crop of oat grass sprouted where I had spread the mulch. I called the store about the problem and the store representative blamed the problem on me, saying that I did not apply the product correctly. That is untrue. More importantly, the store representative refused to allow me to return the second unopened bale because I had not kept the receipt for the product. Very disappointing customer service from a store that sold a clearly defective product and refused to take any responsibility for doing so. Customers beware.

We originally had our first dog Casey start back in 2011. We loved the original daycare and we still very much love Country Canine Retreat with our 2nd dog, Dolly. Dolly is a rescue and had some baggage come with her at 4 months old in 2016 (or so). She has some sass, she's a bit bossy, loves her cuddle time, belly rubs and has enough energy to keep the lights on at the Boston Garden and Patriot's Place! The staff has done an excellent job keeping her busy, entertained, engaged throughout the 5 days a week. She plays with several dogs throughout the day. She loves CCR, recognizes all the staff and comes home sometimes with even more energy at (almost) 11 years old. By Friday, she is one tired happy dog. I love talking with the staff and owner. They are kind, considerate, knowledgeable. I trust them completely. I cannot imagine Dolly going anywhere else.

The woman behind the counter did not greet us, ask us if we needed help, she in fact did not look up at us or acknowledge us despite no one else in her kiosk. In fact my aunt and I were grappling to understand the products on the wall, because the product packaging was not clear, neither was the pricing, I was trying to see what products would be best for a 15 year old dog, such as soft treats, and also another dog who is only 10 weeks old. my aunt then said to me "oh this left side is for cats only", then the woman behind the counter said "the decor on the wall is not a representation of the displayed products, it is decor only". Then she put her head back down and continued to not engage with us, still never asked us if we needed help. LMFAO. My aunt and I immediately left, My 77 year old aunt said "wow that woman is a snob, glad we didn't buy christmas gifts for the 7 dogs". After that situation I googled the company, and its actually a franchise, that states they have locations in Newton, Littleton and Portsmouth NH. I also noticed while there, they did have tons of dog bones that were not wrapped, on the right bottom side of the kios, where I'm sure germs and bacterial is breeding, your dogs could get sick.... I highly advise against this company, 1. zero customer service experience. 2, product packaging is useless looking and 3, other products are not packaged and hanging out in downtown Boston obtaining germs. This company literally lost out a potential huge sale, but also lost out on future social media marketing by me, as I always highlight wonderful companies and products. She did not respond and when she came to pick up my dog for a scheduled and prepaid hike two days later, she called me at work. Almost as soon as I picked up, Leslie began a harangue of verbal abuse. Apparently she had taken my message as an attempt to immediately cancel all services, which it was not. Instead of allowing me to clarify or get a word in at all, Leslie yelled at me for the duration of two phone calls, hung up on me, and refused to listen to my voicemail. Her behavior was borderline unhinged. She turned a misunderstanding on her part into a verbal assault and complete severance of our contract. This episode was extreme enough that I would no longer trust her with my dog or as a reasonable person with whom to conduct any sort of business.
