Our first encounter was for a quick tour and a day session where Ledo got a chance to try out the facility. Dogwood sits on the outskirts of Baltimore City and has so much space that he comes home exhausted whenever I pick up Ledo. Since that first time, we had boarded him twice, and each time, we could not be any happier than to see Ledo so happy. The Lodge offers grooming services; in fact, if your pet stays for a certain period of time, they will get a bath. Anytime we send Ledo there, I make sure that he gets a bath and a nail trimming because yes, my dog does deserve to get pampered as much as his owner. The staff is completely professional from when I drop Ledo off to the time I pick him up. When I took the tour, I was told that there is somebody on the premises 24 hours/day as there is somebody that lives on the premises. My take, if you live in the Baltimore area, this is the place to go if your pooch needs a getaway.

Had to take him to the urgent vet clinic and my baby has kennel cough. He received a bath I didn't ask for which has me concerned about the care and observation he received. I've been leery of the spot for some time after a few uses because there is no grass for him to pee or play. I've tried to overlook this, but how? Does he just go on the floor? Or in their kennels? In addition the owner's rude and dismissive disposition leaves much to be desired and much to avoid at all cost. Only because 1 or 2 of the front desk workers are kind do I feel regret for having to write this , but never will I ever subject my baby or myself to that facility. My dog's emergency vet bill, the poor care, and the lackluster customer service from the owner has me sold on never returning. An observation: a reviewer from just few days ago, 14 to be exact, made a similar complaint. Perhaps stop refuting the claim and review and clean a bit better, and treat your patrons like supporters and not the enemy. It's on you. My one dog is only 4 pounds and so she got extra love and was carried around, which is exactly what she wanted :-) I appreciate that they took the time to understand and provide personalized care for an older dog who isn't interested in all the agility/play stuff. If you do have a a very active dog, he will absolutely love the huge play area! It is super clean and there is no dog odor at all. I can't get a disabled space because my mother isn't living with me full-time, just half-time. We told this to the receptionist who insists on parking in front of our house, and her response was, "Oh, well... it's public parking." I'm sure that gives my 83-year-old mother a lot of comfort when she has to stop her walker and rest three times, in the rain, on the way from the car to the house. Every other house on the street has street parking available that they don't use. The vet has an entire lot. This is piss-poor community relations. Feel free to check all of the subpar reviews on their vet capabilities, too. I have three furbabies, but after reading those reviews I opted for a vet 20-minutes away.
