Amazing service, amazing food, and fantastic ambience. I got the pork bao and have -100 regrets. Ps the owner had great hair

Amazing authentic Chinese sausage bánh mì, pad Thai, and pineapple fried rice to name a few of our favorites. We love stopping here whenever in the Olympia area. Family deli is very clean and husband and wife are very friendly and pleasant and make us feel like they genuinely care and want us to enjoy their foods. Prices are very affordable because they focus on having repeat customers. Best bánh mì place south of Seattle!

This place is super affordable, and that's the best part. While you're lucky to find a sandwich in the area for under $10, you can get one here for under $5. The second best part is the vibe, perhaps best captured by the painted quote above the door, "I got this belly at The Nom Nom Deli." Inside, red & green laser lights dance around and a funny sound plays each time the door opens, which might sound annoying but in fact adds character. The third best part is the food, which is just OK, but worth it for the price. I prefer the BBQ Pork Sandwich.

We stopped by Nom Nom while we were visiting. The restaurant inside has a funky and fun vibe. Bright colors, laser lights and bumping music. Our group got some spring rolls to start. The rolls were good and fresh. The peanut sauce went great with the spring rolls. We also had a steamed pork roll, BBQ pork sandwich and a chicken sandwich. All the ingredients were fresh, tasty and Incorporated Vietnamese flavors. The service was friendly and quick. Also, the food is very affordable, sandwichs are as low as $3.50 for a good size sandwich. Very good spot for a quick, interesting lunch.

I was only interested about it because of the good reviews, but was severely disappointed when I actually had it. I stopped by Nom Nom Deli for a late lunch. When I came in, the restaurant smelled amazing with the owner(I think) was busy mopping with pine-sol or something. The design of the shop looks a little small and outdated, but has a good music selection. It didn't take long to look at the menu. I ordered a fluffy pork banh-mi. The staff were pretty friendly. I waited a few minutes until the order is ready, then left. We got back in our car and immediately started digging in. The look of the sandwich made me frown. The "fluffy" sandwich was not fluffy at all. It was very hard and stale. The veggies were fresh and plenty of it, but the pork looked really weird as if it wasn't pork at all. It looked like there were gobs of hair in the sandwich. It was flavorful, but I felt like I was chewing marinated hair. Luckily it'll be a rare chance that I go to Nom Nom again. The food looks appetizing, but doesn't taste it.

Clean and bright, the pictures on the wall had the wife and I excited to order... The food was only so so. We ordered spring rolls, phad see ew and the lemongrass pork sandwich. The spring rolls had shrimp and BBQ pork, but was bland and the peanut sauce was unremarkable. Hhhmmm, the phad see ew was mad with thin phad thai style noodles that soaked up all the sauce and gummed together. The lemongrass sandwich was the best thing we ordered. Good flavor on the meat; I wish the pickled vegetables had more bite.

    Cartoonishly bready hum bao

This place was all over the map. Warmed up with two spring rolls and a BBQ pork hum bao. The spring rolls were pre-packaged but tasted ok. The hum bao was vast majority bread and cost $4 by itself. The cutlery was visibly dirty. If we were to stop here this would be a 2-star review. Luckily, the Singapore Noodles with chicken bailed this meal out. Thin rice noodles in a slightly sweet, slightly curried sauce with veggies. A big portion for $7. If I were to come here again I would skip the apps and go straight for a noodle dish, or maybe roll the dice on a bahn mi.

Best, friendliest and most reasonably priced in town. Get the wonton soup. Or a sandwich. Noodles? You bet.

I was about to walk in to grab dinner when I noticed the lady at the counter was not wearing a face mask as required by local law. Gross!

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. I love when you try somewhere new and it completely exceeds expectations. This one is a must try.

Other local businesses are screwing over their customers by skimping on product. Not Meconis. They knocked it out of the park. I can't say enough about restaurants that respect their customers over maximizing profits and screwing their customers. If you want a great sub, this is an ideal place to go.

I've worked in customer service since I was young, alongside my mother who owns a small business, and this was some of the worst service I've encountered. Cold, unwelcoming, and completely unprofessional. Should've went to the Lacey location like people were saying. Bread was really good, especially toasted. Sandwich was decent.
