And I came across Cannacopia. Right as I walked up, the door swings open by an employee! I was greeted by a wonderful cool breeze and the most amazing smell of fresh, crisp, happy flowers that makes my heart skip a beat. I'm greeted by another employee, Morgan, and two security guards. Super friendly, smiley and happy! Morgan was my budtender. Loved that she made conversation, enjoyed her job, and helped me pick out some yummy nugs. She got what I needed, checked me out, and I was on my way back to the hotel. In a much MUCH better mood. This will be my spot anytime I'm up here. Great service, happy employees and tasty buds!! So got to be honest never thought would write review for CBD. Old roommate wanted pick up some yummy gummy before headed down for Anaheim hockey tournament. Thankfully had his knowledge because not only was I overwhelmed by the selection but terminology about amount of thz (think acronym) in each. Also the employee helping us explained all selection for gummies. It made sense for first timer like myself. I blown away by the different types of edibles. I know sound like clique only cause think edible so brownies. Amazed products put it in from gummies, macaroon, rice Kris pies, chocolate squares, and really just about everything can imagine. Nice spot "in the cut". I searched Weedmaps and Google and this place came up. When I walked in, I saw a lot of my folks in there which I like to see. The young lady who scanned my ID was cool. The "bud tender" was very knowledgeable of the products in the store. And because I am a US Army veteran, I got 20% off, which was good value for me. Every time I come here the staff in front is ready to scan me in quickly. The door is opened as I'm walking up. Once inside I'm greeted w/ a 'hello' even if they are busy. The store is clean and is easy to maneuver through. They have just about everything you can imagine you would need. If you want flower, they have a variety of options of each kind. Each w/ the ability to smell prior to purchase. The contents of each item is written up on a card so you know what you're getting. From edibles to pre-rolls to flower. Their pre-roll 10 packs are great! They even come in a box, w/ a lighter! Their CBD cream is great for athletes that don't want to smell like icy hot. Military and industry discounts as well! UPDATE TO REVIEW BELOW: The owner, did give me a call and leave a voicemail indicating that the product they sell are pre-scaled (which I already assumed), and said the most he could do is get into contact with Prime Cannabis. Not feeling my time and energy was worth getting into contact with another party, I decided to cut my losses in terms of time and energy. I decided to check out Cannacopia on July 2, 2017 since it is down the street from where I reside. The customer service at Cannacopia is "okay" but not "great" and I can accept that, especially when the store is very busy. Nevertheless, I purchased 3 separate 1 gram strains for $20 each (recreational user). However, to my dismay, one of the "Prime Cannabis Monster Cookies" bag only contained 0.84 grams of marijuana which is an insane amount less than 1 gram for $20! I have attached a picture below of the scale showing the amount of cannabis, packaging, and receipt. Interestingly, both other strains I picked up (Mendo Breath by Matrix and Gelato Glue by Prime) were scaled correctly at 1.00 gram. Previous to going to Cannacopia, I attended the grand opening (July 1, 2017) of "The Dispensary" on Decatur and Hacienda where recreational grams went from $15-20 ( so $5 cheaper than Cannacopia) and the eighths start at $40 where as Cannacopia eighths are $60. Both companies carried the same Maxtrix and Prime brands. I will attach a receipt showing this price comparison. Both locations are in close proximity to me, in SW Las Vegas. In my opinion, it is worth it to save your $$ and not visit Cannacopia, where scaling is inaccurate and you technically do not get what you paid for. UPDATE: I called Cannacopia and asked if there was someone I could voice my concerns to. I was greeted on the phone by Candice, who said they were really "busy" and there was no one I could speak with at the moment. I asked if I could leave my name and phone number, so that some staff member of Cannacopia could hear my concerns. She said it would be best to talk to Robert, the owner. Hopefully Robert will give a disgruntled LOCAL customer a call back. I truly dislike giving negative reviews but know that this review may be helpful/informative for others to read. read more

Let's preface this with the fact that I was not, nor am I inebriated while I write this. But let's face it, I'm a stoner through and through. I got off a rough day at work and was craving some [statemade] nv pre-rolls. (I know, I know... Don't judge me, but trust when I say these pre-rolls are some of the best I've come across for their quality and value!) In my sober state, I attempted to order online for pickup, but after sitting outside in my car like a crazy person for about 15 minutes, I shot them a quick call wondering if it was better to come inside or wait in the car. The staff upfront needs major training on customer service. When my husband and I walked into the dispensary we were not greeted at all. The two receptionist were chatting with each other while my husband and I are waiting to be checked in. Since they were too busy chatting with each other I finally said "hello". They looked up at us, checked our ID's, and that was it, off you go. What happened to greeting your customers? Is it really that hard to say "hello" or "thank you"?? DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ FIRST!!! I could not WAIT to post this review I am very upset with there customer service I have been there twice and both times the experiences were TERRIBLE. The first time I was there I am a medicinal patient and they had a lobby with all just recreational and they called everyone one of them before me and even when I was called back they didn't lock the entry door to where the bud tenders are, so people were freely walking back and had to get escorted back into waiting room SEVERAL TIMESSSS! Than more importantly The Second time I had drove all of the way there was to get a 1/2 ounce of Do Si Do for $105 which said on website, I go all the way to CannaCopia for a staff member named Johnathan to tell me it's not on sale. Than another lady leaves with Jonathan, John comes back and tells me the most he Can do is %25 off and I wanted to talk to a manager and supposedly no one was in... I than did not pick up productive because instead of $105 he told me it was going to. Be $174 so I had left and 10 min later I realized this is the second time where THEY have messed up and are very unprofessional so I went back and demanded to talk to a manager, again supposedly he wasn't here than I said thts bs THAN A MANAGER CAME OUT DEVIN HENNINGER not sure if that is exactly how you would spell it, but is a bad manager he didn't help the situation what so ever told ME I was disrespectful to his staff because I used the word BS but the full word not even to his staff and I got told to leave by him because he didn't want to deal with customer problems which is a 2 year old move he just wanted me gone so he didn't have to deal with the issue. I have been told by Jonathan a staff member that another manager was going to be in "SUPPOSEDLY" for 3 days straight who hasn't been in yet I am 19 years old have been smoking more than most people and have been to MANY dispensaries and I have never encounter so much disrespect from a staff especially because nothing was my fault and they were not a caring staff at all which is how a MEDICAL MARAJUANA organization should be. I have talked to several dispensary managers and one owner and told them about CannaCopia and my experience and even they said CannaCopia is not professional. I really hope you guys read this post to the end. Like I said I'm only 19 I don't like when people take advantage of me because of my age. After trying many of the dispensaries throughout the greater Las Vegas area, I can honestly say Cannacopia is about average. My three-star review is largely based on the mostly inflated prices, lack of rewards program for return patients, and lack of a solid locals discount. How about replacing the Sheriff's Card discount with a discount for residents of LV/Henderson? Why should only those working in clubs/casinos benefit from a discount? Industry professionals make more than the average college educated person (and possible government contractor), who likely also carries a shitload of student loan debt. I know educated voters are pretty important to pursuing the legalization of marijuana nationwide. How about a federal contractor discount? Anyway, I'm done bitching, but it's seriously something to be considered. The reason I returned after my second visit was for two very specific reasons: W Vapes are actually priced quite well, and I've found those to be superior to many of the other concentrate cartridges on the market; and Cannacopia carries Tikun Olam Avidekel in a concentrate cartridge. If you're unfamiliar with the unprecedented research conducted by Tikun Olam in Israel, do yourself a favor and conduct a search for their peer-reviewed, published research on cannabidiol (CBD). As a scientist, I have been consistently disappointed with the lack of solid research regarding medicinal cannabis. This is not so with Tikun Olam--they've collected over a decade of solid research with double-blind, placebo tested science. It's pretty unfortunate that Cannacopia's budtenders have absolutely no knowledge on Tikun Olam, and actually tried to deter me from purchasing this OUTSTANDING product both times I've been in. What this shows is you need to do your own research on how to properly medicate, and do not rely on listening to sales associates looking to push a specific product (in other words, not actually assisting a patient based on individual needs). It's also worth noting, on my last visit (04/14/18), their ATM was empty and I had to leave, go elsewhere, and return to finalize my purchase. Although not the biggest inconvenience, it was annoying, nonetheless. Hopefully Cannacopia with start offering some better rewards/discount programs, keep their ATM in working order, and lower prices a bit. I certainly will revisit my 3-star review in the future should some of those changes take place. read more

There was only one person working the day I visited (01/30/17). They politely said the wait would be fifteen minutes. The were four other customers in the lobby. After twenty minutes, the polite gentleman tended to me. There was not a large selection of disposables and oils (vaping products). I've been to Cannacopia about 7 times. It is very close to where I live. The Staff is friendly and the place is nice but the weed always seems to be harvested to soon and loose buds that are way too dried out. I don't know if the growers can't keep up up the demand but the stuff I can buy off the street is better. I'm going to try another place just to see if the weed is any better. read more
