The pandesals were super fresh and we loved both the ube and strawberry butters that came with it. I wish that they came a bit warmer, so that the butters could have melted a touch. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 sandwiches. I especially loved the arugula on the mozerella sandwich. The blackberry brie sandwich could have used a touch more brie, but was still delicious. The cheesecakes were good, but a bit too sweet. The strawberry was my favorite. I enjoyed tasting multiple flavors. Their red velvet cupcake was extremely moist. The pistachio malasada was cute and flavorful. The filling to pastry ratio was good. I think that the experience could have been better balanced if there were a few more savory items. One thing that we noticed was that all of the pastries including the malasada were cold. I can understand that there are some food safe requirements that need to be met in how desserts are stored. However, letting them sit out for even 20-30 minutes before consumption would have been better.

It is lacking the kataifi (or knafeh) bits and I can barely taste the pistachio cream or tahini. The chocolate is probably overpowering the other flavors. Very pretty in presentation though. The blackforest cake is also lacking in the kirsch taste. I can barely taste it. Maybe I had a such a great tasting blackforest cake before that many places do not match up to it. And here is why: 1. The cake is lathered in fresh ripe super sweet outside with overlapping thin soft mango slices. Top with what seems to be endless decorative whipped cream-filled mango cones. A cut into inside reviews yet another generous clusters of mango. There has to be at least 3 mango in this small cake! Value right there. 2. Unless other "fruit" cakes made of drained canned fruit, this mango cake is 100% mango with a few blueberries on top. Never had I have a more satisfying fruit cake. My husband doesn't like sweet and today he ate over half the cake. 3. This cake has so much mango that the cake feels like it takes only 30-40% of the cake's weight. This little cake weights heavier than most 8" cakes. Mango is a lot more expensive than flour and air. You can get a taste before committing by buying the single piece format. You will be addicted instantly. Definitely will be buying mango cake from now on.

I could not really taste Sticky rice, but, I believe this extra creamy form meant to the sticky rice texture.
