croissant /chocolate croissant that comes with coffee combo

Are you in Coquitlum by Ikea? Or thinking about going there? Then you need to check out Oliver's Bread! The have such an amazing variety of baked pastries (sweet and savory) as well as cakes, sandwiches, salads, soups and dips! This French Artisan bakeshop has everything you're looking for as well as displayed beautifully. Looking for a quick bite? They got meal combos for you to snack on. My go to was the coffee (drip) and danish for only $5! Their croissants were crispy on the outside and buttery layered throughout. Want something more substantial? They got some other awesome combo deals from home baked personal pizza and a drink for $9.50 to a sub sandwich, danish and drink for $15. Overall a great find with great Artisanal flair!

This cute bakery in Port Coquitlam is the perfect study or reading spot! They offer a wide range of food and pastries - savory and sweet! And the atmosphere and the service is fantastic. In terms of food: Normandie ($8.50) - Prosciutto, camembert sandwich. I love that these sandwiches are made with Olivier's fresh Parisan baguettes. Although simple, I really enjoyed this toasted sandwich! Bayonne ($8.00) - Prosciutto, tomato, salad sandwich. We all thought the Normandie sandwich was better! I think a creamy cheese or a little more prosciutto could have helped the sandwich. Chocolate Croissant ($3.50) / Croissant ($3.50) - They are not as flakey as other bakeries, but I feel like you can never go wrong with croissants. Creme Brulee ($4.50) - The cream part of this dessert was delicious. But because it was refrigerated, the top is not sugar crusted as it would have been normally. That was definitely a little bit disappointing. Blueberry Mirror ($5.50) - Blueberry White Chocolate Mousse Cake was recommended to us! The cake was not bad, but I couldn't taste the blueberry as much, and it tasted more like white chocolate! Lemon Tart ($5) - To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of meringue, but it looked good for the pics! The lemon curd part was yummy, but I thought the shell was a little stale. Tip: I would ask which pastries are the freshest and get those ones! Tip: I wanted to get their loafs (I was eyeing the lemon loaf), but they sold out by the time I stood up again to grab more treats! I did overhear the table next to us talk about how delicious it was! Tip: Their breads are apparently bomb but I had too much leftovers I didn't want to waste any food. Tip:Get your pastries toasted!

Have been wanting to try Olivier's for quite some time and finally made the drive out last weekend. A large variety of baked goods but it was a bit chaotic inside when we were there. We got a regular croissant, an almond croissant, an apple turnover, and a pistachio eclair. I wished the croissants were a bit more flakier and the eclair could have been a bit more fresh. Overall, not bad but wouldn't drive out of my way to come here.

This place is tucked away amongst a bunch of businesses which makes it a great quiet place to catch up over a cup of coffee and a pastry. They also have tables with a couple of outlets around (good for studying). Their pastries are massive which is generous for their price! Will definitely be coming back.

New Favourite Bakery! Where to begin. From the friendly staff, amazing cheesecakes, traditional eclairs to the bread! Croissants and of course great cup of coffee this spacious very clean bakery is a must. Watch out!! Closed on Sundays - don't be disappointed like I was. But!!! So worth checking out Monday to Satuday. The parking lot is massive and free so take your time and savour a treat! I actually went here because they handed out a free croissant and coffee card but I'm officially hooked and am spreading the word.

My friend recommended this bakery so we meet up here for a lunch date. There is a good selection of baked goods, a sandwich and coffee bar available. I ended up with a custom sandwich as the employee made the wrong one initially and then fixed the mistake by adding the egg I had initially wanted. Sandwich was good. I was pleased that she tried to fix the mistake. I also ordered a croissant as well and it was average. I liked that there was a seating area so you can sit down and enjoy the meal. Credit card payment accepted. There was a decent amount of parking available outside the bakery.

Got the Oreo mousse and the caramel bomb. These items were reasonably priced. I will say that the mousse had more of a marshmallow texture that I wasn't expecting. The caramel bomb was okay as well, but considering how sweet both items were, it would be best to share with some tea on the side! Overall, I'd go here again to see what else they ha e!

When you're having to practice social distancing and can't study in a coffee shop - bring the coffee shop home to you!! Great, friendly service! Very appreciative to have you close by and supporting local businesses is always key!

It's kind of a trendy cafe, I've seen photos of the other locations but those ones look a lot fancier. I came here because I saw on insta they said this location was the location that had the Ube Matcha Latte but when I went they didn't even have it, which was disappointing since it was being advertised on Instagram. It was also kind of difficult to order and ask questions with the initial barista I was speaking with because of the language barrier so she didn't seem to understand what I was asking but fortunately another girl stepped in to help her out. Since I couldn't get the Ube Matcha drink I got the Hojicha Matcha Iced Latte which was okay conpared to other Matcha drinks I have tried, it seemed like there was a lot more ice than matcha and the large cup isn't very large plus the paper straws were just a no for me. They could have just used other compostable straws rather than paper ones so I give the paper straws a thumbs down. The service was very friendly though despite the language barrier. I didn't see much gluten free options here. I think at a time they carried gluten free donuts from another company but I didn't see them there this time. I'd give this place another shot though once they do have the Ube Matcha Latte drink available.

The selection of desserts was quite good and everything looked delicious. We selected two different items to share: a chocolate cake and the other was earl grey. I loved how they were not overly sweet. The earl grey one had grapefruit inside, which unfortunately my friend cannot eat so he was a little disappointed that I got to have more of this one. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem! The piece of grapefruit on top should have been a clue, but he didn't notice it when we were ordering. haha I did find the combination a bit unusual but I enjoyed it nonetheless as I love both grapefruit and earl grey tea! Service appears to be restricted to counter service, so you order at the counter and take your food and drinks to a table. It was really busy in the cafe but we managed to snag the last open table. Because it was so crowded, it was a little difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Not deafening, just quite lively. The coffee was good - but word of advice, make sure you let them know if you want to add milk or cream as they do fill your cup to the brim! I would probably return to try some of their other desserts because I find most places a bit too sweet for me. Definitely recommend this spot.

First time I spotted this place was while I stayed at the hotel in the same complex area. It isn't something easy to see from the road, but there's lots of great Asian restaurant options hidden amongst that complex that seem to be always very popular. The night I actually made it in before closing, I had to use great restraint when selecting the dessert being that I was dining alone. Even the ladies that walked in around the same time I did, had an incredibly hard time choosing their desserts. This is due to fact that the portions are definitely made to be shareable for a lot of their menu items and really, unless you're extremely picky on flavours, they all sound like amazing combos. I therefore opted to reduce my selection (and dessert size!) by going with a cake slice from the display (wish I could recall what it was as it seriously hit the spot) & a lovely hot beverage. The place fills up quickly but does not have that usual crazed rush one feels in other coffee shops & bakeries that are only open earlier in the days. They have various sizes of tables & it definitely felt like this was a social hub for the under 30s (again, dessert was so amazing, that I didn't even care that I felt oldest in the cafe ;) I also found it interesting with how young the crowd was in there, that people were legit visiting more than on their iPhones or laptops (maybe the lack of outlets fostered this?). They have one unique 4 seater table (tractor like) & stools that I kicked myself later for not realizing it was something to use (being a farm kid in a big city, you can imagine quickly what unexpected happiness level it was to see those tractor seat stools too). The parking is plentiful just past the cafe & there's also a parkade. The place is accessible & I even think most would be able to use the washroom with minimal challenges. There seems to be a back door towards the sidewalk but looked closed by the time I was there that late at night. I will definitely be back to enjoy solo dessert time or a good visit with friends (as I definitely would like to try some of the shareable menu items!).

At the table are disposable chopsticks and spoons as well as napkins. After filling out the paper wifey brought it up front to the staff to fill. As we waited for the food i created my sauce. The food arrived and looked good as any dumplings should. The wonton on chili oil was tasty and I liked them. The wrap seemed a bit loose so maybe over cooked by a little bit but not a big deal breaker. The chives dumplings were yummy. Not huge but a decent reasonable size. Tasty as well and the wrapper wasn't overly thick and had a good chew. The curry fish balls were ok. Not bad but not great. The xlb were very nice. Wrapper not to thick, not thin either but acceptable thickness. Plenty of soup inside and decently tasty. The meat filling itself is also tasty. Very good meal and would go back in the area for decent xlb.
