I used Can't Stop Moving company for a move of a couple of blocks with storage overnight during the busiest season. They were very responsive when I inquired about prices and reserved their services. Any questions I had, they answered quickly and cordially. The clearing of the apartment took about an hour and went smoothly. The move the next day took a little more effort as it involved getting furniture and boxes up two narrow flights of stairs. In the process, an older set of bookcases broke, but they reimbursed me at a fair price. There was an unfortunate incident when they moved the sofa into the basement as they informed us earlier it wouldn't fit up the stairs. A water pipe was hit, and a plumber had to come to fix the leak. The company was very trustworthy and paid for the repair. I was very satisfied with the two moves, and I will use CSM again. read more

Can't say enough good about these guys! We rented our own UHAUL and hired the labor only to pack the truck and carry everything down from our 3rd floor apartment. Hardworking, fast, friendly, and efficient in their loading. They were careful with our stuff too. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are so friendly, so polite, and damn good at what they do!! Let me start at the beginning. I was lured to trying professional movers thanks to groupon. I'm on a budget, but it turned out that budget included movers because I am a big girl (28 years old!) and hauling stuff up a 3rd floor walk up is so not my jam especially now that I own furniture and things that I like. So, budget was arranged to accommodate movers. I learned one hugely important thing: I will never move without professional movers again. They are worth every penny (and more!) that you spend. Now, groupon screwed up the wording and essentially threw in an extra hour. These guys are so awesome, they honored it anyway. Since they were doing me a huge favor, I was more than happy to be flexible in timing (switching to 1pm start time from 8am is a bonus in my book, especially when I'm still finishing packing). I even moved things out to the sidewalk since I ran out of room and wanted to make things easier and quicker for them. Because I had 2 hours and boy was I going to use 'em! Then I got stuck in traffic and their route was better so I ended up holding things up a bit. But at the new place they were quite efficient and it was so goddamn beautiful to watch other people haul my stuff up to the 3rd floor. The few loads of extremely delicate/fragile items I took myself had already made my legs feel like jelly but hot damn they powered through and re-assembled furniture I'd long forgotten how to take apart and put together. The Boston branch is new, but look at their website. They've got a jillion 5 star ratings in Seattle. I can promise you they earned every one of them, including mine. I even talked my boyfriend into hiring them for his move into the apartment. Because we're adults of good taste, and hell, we deserve not hauling our crap up those beautiful stairs in our building. These guys are amazing. Called them on short notice a week before my move (on July 31st, SUPER busy weekend) and they were extremely accommodating... probably the only moving company I found with any slots still available, but wow is this a 5-star service. Had a crew of three guys come out, very personable guys who helped me do a full packing job and a move from Back Bay to Beacon Hill. When we arrived at Beacon Hill, someone had parked in my reserved spots for the move, and the guys from Can't Stop actually waited about an hour and a half with me while a tow truck came. Movers showed up over an hour late and when I reached out to the owner, I received multiple calls from different members of the moving crew with different reasons why they were late. It was a tough move but the guys got it done with minimal direction necessary. One of the movers girlfriends did show up on the job and I found them at the moving truck signing paperwork for their new place. Odd time to do it, but whatever. These guys were amazing! 2nd story move in and our movers were spot on. They were late for our 7am Sunday morning move but called to let us know and we're only a few minutes late. They maneuvered the truck down our tiny street, had us packed up in about an hour and into our new place by an hour and a half later. They were polite, and took great care with our belongings. We had such a great experience with Can't Stop Moving. Our time window was set from 10-2pm and they ended up coming early and finishing early which was awesome! They were extremely easy going and flexible (some boxes weren't packed and they helped finish and get them in the truck quickly. Well, I have finally settled down after our move. This is something I usually do myself with friends with ONCE hiring a moving company that left a very bitter nasty taste in our mouths. However, this time we were moving about a 2k Sq ft house crammed into a 1200 sq ft apt. into a new house and I was not going to do it alone. I needed someone to move the heavy boxes, annoying boxes, tvs, heavy furniture etc. My only fault was getting a truck too small. My wife found Can't Stop Moving on Groupon and am I glad she did. These guys showed up on time and ready to rock. They moved a massive amount of stuff in such a short time that it was surreal. Just seeing them work will make me refer them to everyone as I could feel the stress of moving just lifting off my shoulders. They were swift, friendly, careful and professional and I feel very reasonable with price. They actually ran over time because they needed to go to another job, so they loaded my truck, went to the next job and came all the way back from Boston to Northern Essex county to finish the job! Bottom Line: If you are moving and are worried about people handling your stuff carefully and actually caring about making a good impression and doing a fantastic job? After nearly being crushed to death by my own dresser the last time my husband and I tried to move ourselves, I asked around for a recommendation for a good moving company for our most recent move. I contacted numerous moving companies to hire for the busiest weekend of the year in Boston, September 1st! Can't Stop Moving got back to me within the hour and said they had availability. The contact person was extremely professional and timely regarding all of our conversations whether they were through emails or text messages. I hired them for Sunday, 9/1 in the afternoon. They would be moving me out of my Allston apartment into my new apartment in Southie. I won't go into all the details but my Allston lease ended on 8/30 and I couldn't get into the Southie apartment til 9/1! Can't Stop Moving was more than accommodating offering to let me store everything on the truck til move in day. In the end, I recv'd a call from my new landlord telling me I could move in on Saturday, 8/31 which was music to my ears but now I had no movers for Saturday. Called Can't Stop Moving and they said it wouldn't be till the afternoon but they would move me on Saturday! This was the most efficient move I've ever experienced. My apartment in Southie is on the 3rd floor with an extremely narrow stairwell. They also kept in contact on the day of the move to let me know their time frame. They were beyond helpful, professional and quick. They also stored a couch for us at their storage facility until a friend was able to pick it up. Needless to say I would recommend Can't Stop Moving to anyone who is moving and would definitely call them again! read more

I spoke with Alex on the phone and he was super nice and helpful and I just got the vibe that he was a good honest guy. Long story short, truck was late due to human error (alarm clock type stuff, happens to the best of us) but the mover gave us some money off for the inconvenience. When I deal with a business I expect phone calls to be returned, I expect the experience to be hassle free, and I expect professionalism. Dealing with this company was pure bliss. I was fortunate to get a Groupon and was worried that the whole experience would be a nightmare because I needed movers on December 24th!!. Alex and Eric were wonderful in every aspect of the experience. First they called me back right away!! My situation was out of the ordinary, and they were patient and understanding. I never thought I'd have SO many good things to say about a moving company, but I do. We moved from Charlotte, NC to Seattle, WA in 2014 with a corporate relocation, so we had no say in who we used for our move that time. We didn't have a bad experience with that company, but we did hear that if you use them for a personal move, you are taking a big risk, so we decided to look elsewhere. In planning our return trip to NC, I was faced with the daunting task of finding a good mover. I had heard horror stories about movers, but once I dug in and started reading reviews, I started to get nervous. I searched Angie's List, Yelp, BBB, Consumer Affairs, any review based site I could find, and most companies were coming up short. Way short. I read stories about thousands of dollars in damage and unresponsive companies, belongings being held hostage for more money, brokering things out to other van lines and having things be lost, or missing for months. I was actually starting to think we were going to have to move the house ourselves in a truck, but honestly, we didn't have the time (or experience) to do this properly. On a whim, I reached out to the only fantastic sounding moving company that I read about - Can't Stop Moving. I saw that they were a Seattle based company, and the reviews I read all mentioned local moves, but the ratings were so good that I just had to know if the could help us. Surprisingly, I heard back from Malcolm right away, with a big YES, and suddenly I felt like we might be able to make it work! I put them on the short list, and I had them come out to do an estimate for us. Eric, one of the owners, showed up promptly for our estimate. He was extremely friendly, honest, and best of all, he was able to check off every single box that we required. He was going to come out with his team, pack our items that needed packed, load them themselves, into a truck they would rent, drive them across the country themselves, unload them into our new place, and then fly home. They are literally the only company that could promise me our belongings would not be changing hands. And that was our number one requirement. I want to know who I am dealing with, and none of the other companies could promise me the same. Eric had no issues with any of our items, our timing, or anything else we asked. He was upfront in saying they were going to be a little higher, price-wise, than the big chains. We were equally upfront in letting him know that we do not mind paying extra for better services. The quote came in, and it was higher than the other companies, but it was absolutely worth it to have a company that we were excited to work with, instead of one we were dreading. Leading up to move day, every question I emailed got a prompt and friendly response. I never felt like we were being sold anything, and they were some of the nicest people of our whole move to deal with. Moving day arrived, and they showed up on time, with enough people to get the job done quickly. They even went to our storage unit to pick up those items before hitting the road, and that was such a relief to us, as no other company was willing to do this. It alleviated us having to rent a truck and haul those things back to our place. So, again, we were happy to spend the extra money on their services. The truck was loaded, and the whole time they were super friendly and sweet about everything. Eric was going to drive the truck himself, and made sure he had our contact info and we had his, should we need anything at all. He sent us frequent text messages updating us on his (very speedy) progress. He left with our shipment Thursday afternoon, after loading all morning, and delivered it to Charlotte on Tuesday. This is a very impressive time frame, as most companies informed us it would be about 2-3 weeks, depending on when a truck (filled with other people's moves as well) would be going that way. I must say, I feel like Can't Stop Moving was the perfect moving company. The level of service they delivered is beyond what I could have imagined. I felt like we were dealing with friends, and not an anonymous company that would maybe show up with our stuff in a few weeks. If you are looking for a full service moving company, and feel like you just can't find one that fits the bill, I beg you to give these guys a chance. They were amazing! read more
