Great food and service! Really elevates Chinese food in an exciting way. The HK sidewinder fries are delicious and so different from a traditional restaurant side of fries, definitely recommend adding them on. I got the beef chow fun which was delicious. I'm very picky with beef, but the meat was tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly and all of the dish's elements and flavors went together so nicely. They have a great collection of teas to choose from, which can be made hot or iced. The chamomile tea was delicious! At least when I went, you couldn't make reservations for the outdoor patio for dinner in the online system, but I was easily able to do so by calling. The patio is shaded by buildings (at least at dinner time). The service was great throughout, I never even had to ask for a water re-fill. Can't wait to check it out for brunch too! read more

We stopped by on a Sunday night around 7 and were able to be seated immediately without a reservation. There was a single table outside on the sidewalk, and inside there were a mix of low top and high top tables. We were sat at a high top for 2. The signage outside is very fun, and walking into the restaurant you immediately noticed the Mah Jong tile wall. On the opposite wall are the Chinese zodiac. Overall the decor is fun yet tasteful. The food was fine. After dining in I am surprised by the number of 5 star reviews. We ordered the Chili Wontons, Salt and Pepper Wings, Honey Char Siu, and Wok Blistered Snow Pea Shoots. We both agreed that the snow pea shoots were the best dish. The char siu was on the chewy side and definitely could have been more tender. The wings were extremely hot and crispy, but they essentially had no other flavors. The chili wontons were fine but nothing special. My husband is Chinese and his family is from Hong Kong, so we are no strangers to Cantonese food. We wanted to love Canton Disco but it definitely fell short. The menu looks amazing, the plating is great, and the restaurant itself looks awesome. But it needs something more to put it over the edge. Our service was fine. Our server brought our drinks, took our order quickly, and the food was brought out as each dish was ready. The high top for 2 was a tight fit for the number of dishes we had (which wasn't excessive for 2 people). Then we did not have anyone stop by our table after that until we were asking for the check. We did see staff stopping by other tables to chat or ask how things were going. I am still intrigued by their brunch menu and if I was in the area I would stop in to try it; however, I would temper my expectations going forward. We came here for a late lunch (brunch). When we got to the restaurant there was no wait and it was quiet. The staff were kind and attentive. They kept our water filled throughout the meal. We ordered scallion waffle (brunch), won ton mein, and salt and pepper tofu. The scallion waffle was different, it was good but I think I prefer the traditional scallion pancake. The won ton mein was what I expected from won ton mein, taste wise. They give a generous amount of noodles in the bowl of soup and 3 won tons. The won tons had a nice gingery taste in the filling. I enjoyed the salt and pepper tofu. It was served with jasmine rose. The tofu was coated and fried, and the topping was good--the peppers had a slight kick but I didn't find them unbearably spicy. read more

Have been wanting to come try this place ever since it opened not quite two months ago. Would have come earlier if they have more extensive hours, as it is it's only open from 5 pm Tuesday to Sunday although they are looking into adding more hours. It's not a large space and the decor and ambience is more like a bar than restaurant. All the tables seem about just 1.5 ft square so you might not want to order too many dishes all at once. What I like about it is there are a lot of high tables. There are also tables out in front on the wide sidewalk. Seems like it's already fast becoming a popular spot. We got there almost exactly at 5 pm on a Sunday and there are already plenty of people ahead of us. They have a pretty small menu - and we ordered mushroom potstickers, spring rolls, cucumber salad, and beef chow fun. The cucumber salad is a bit over pickled, the spring rolls nice but standard, but the potstickers are interesting, looking just a bit different from the usual ones being very crispy fried on one side. The beef chow fun is also somewhat creative - the flat rice noodles come in little rolled up clumps like gnocchi's and the beef is super tender and flavorful. Best of all they have the coconut sago panna cotta which is more like a sago pudding, absolutely worth a try! We saw all the hype on Instagram for this restaurant, so we had to give it a try. We got a reservation for a Wednesday at 6 and it wasn't too busy, but by 7 the restaurant was full so make a reservation. We shared a pot of Canton fruit herbal blend tea. It tasted refreshing and fruity, and they will refill the water in the pot. We split a few dishes. The honey walnut shrimp was our favorite, I wanted another order of them. The honey cha sui was cooked perfectly. We also split the bread pudding which is soaked in milk tea, incredible. Great new restaurant in DC! We were able to grab a table with no wait at 6pm on a Wednesday, but it was full by 7pm. It has cute disco element themes inside as well as a mahjong tile wall. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The char siu was perfectly cooked, the duck lo mein was incredible, and the honey walnut shrimp was a favorite. Got the mushroom dumplings--would've preferred a bit more texture from the mushroom (was minced a little too fine) but great sear and nice flavor. The crispy egg rolls were large and came with house made sriracha, quite good. Beef chow fun was flavorful and well executed, with plenty of beef, a rich sauce and unique rolled noodles. Drinks were way cheaper than expected (most $11-13) and the Mai tai was so good I got it twice despite wanting to try almost every other drink on the menu. It came with house made whipped cream in a tiki style mug and was plenty strong. Service was attentive and helpful, with food coming out rapidly and multiple servers checking on us through the meal. Vibes were good, with present but not overpowering music and a disco ball keeping the ambiance true to its name. I will be back here again and again.
