The park is on the smaller side, but it offers a great backdrop with views of the city and surrounding green mountains. While there was a bit of rubbish scattered around, the area was clean overall. There is no designated parking lot, so street parking is the only option. All in all, it's a simple and quiet neighborhood park with pleasant views. read more

Very nice park perfect for the people with those super amazing houses surrounding the park or for visitors like me who wanted to see 2 things: the amazing view to the mountains and that polished stone ball depicting the globe (someone not very civic graffitied the work of art:( the park was a perfect respite for a nice walk during s rainy Sunday. Great for kids as they have a playground as well as for picnic (lovely tables facing the nice view...i could totally myself bringing a nice tablecloth there and having a great picnic. One star less because I saw a lot of fast food packaging in the grass as well a what it looked like some sleeping clothing. I did not notice any trash can and some people seem to have difficulty to keep their trash for themselves. Overall very nice park. read more

Really cute park in the Silver Creek Area! It has a great view of San Jose, good amount of grass for dogs to play on (watch out though I've seen rat poison traps be placed here by neighbors), and beautiful palm trees for the ideal sunset view. It's a bit of a smaller park compared to Fowler Creek bur is still nice as well! read more

Great clean and secluded play area. I came here on a middle of a Friday day and we got the whole park to ourselves. It's well maintained and fenced just enough so you won't have to worry about your kids or furry ones. The play structures are for kids 5 and under. My 5 yr old prefers Doerr Park where they have the big tunnel slides. The 2.5 year old is just happy to get out of the house. They're now playing with clean bark and running around. I better stop writing and join the fun. read more

I recently discovered this park near my home in south san jose. It is perfect for my little one who is 13 months. Also great for kids up to 8-10 years. My daughter loves the buckets swings and slides, as well as the little rocking horse & bike. She loves running around on the large grassy area, but her favorite is definitely the spinning globe with water. The park has great views of the hills and has ample picnic tables. Parking is on the street and is usually not a problem because the park is rarely busy. The only drawback is lack of shade, which can be a problem in the summer. read more

My boyfriend took me here on one of our anniversaries. I must say, this park is beautiful. It's fairly small, but big enough to have a party or picnic. There's a playground and a pretty spacious grass area, plenty of benches, some including a table, and some just to watch the view. The view from this secret little getaway is what got me. It's beautiful, facing the evergreen area near St. Francis Church. The better view is from the top of the hill, past the park into that little cul-de-sac. If you go to the corner you could see a better view of the city, since the park faces the Evergreen area, it's mostly houses so there aren't many lights to look at. This is a great alternative to the beautiful, but teenybopper-packed-way too crowded-Fowler Park. Definitely take your gf here especially if you're "in the doghouse." read more

Amazing park! Great place to take a date or just look at the view with some friends. It's not a very big park. The playground is clean, there are plenty of benches with a nice view and big grass area. The spinning globe fountain is reall cool. I would say the only downside is that occasionally, there are kids who fool around on the path at the bottom of the hill at night or drink or smoke... but it's usually pretty rare. read more

Don't go after dark. My friends and I got robbed at gun point at this park. Other people I know have also said they've been robbed at gunpoint here too. Not safe after sunset. read more

Parking is great, wide road for driving and enough room to park. The playground is far from the some what busy street. Great view, awesome for Fourth of July. I come here with my kids I nanny for and we bring their roller skates and they are able to skate around. There is enough room on the grass to play some sports and games. The playground has some different stuff to play on which is good, it is newer so it has newer and cooler equipment. Definitely come here for play or firework shows! read more

This park is really nice! Its located behind the Evergreen Community Center. It has a huge space of rolling hills for the kids to play and run around on. The jungle gym area is nothing special but it is clean and new looking. I love that there is a bathroom there! read more

My kids have a blast at this park! Its small,quiet, and has a little trail you can walk down..but the view is the best part! On a warm summer night we love to take the kids to see the city lights! This is a nice place to enjoy a pleasant evening with the family. Went there for the first time last week and had a fun and relaxing time. Parking on the street adjacent to the park is plentiful. The park is in a nice, residential area and seems to be fairly well maintained. There is a walking path around a decent sized grassy area where children can walk, run, ride bikes, etc. Also a nice playground with swings, slides, a kind of spider web climbing thing, and a "spinny" kind of thing. The best part of the park to me is the view. Around the edges are plenty of benches and tables to enjoy the view of the Evergreen Valley, and if you are there at dusk as we were, you will see the field mice, rabbits, and owls come out....our daughters loved going from the playground to wildlife observers, to star gazers all in a short amount of time..... read more

This is a beautiful, secluded park nestled in a neighborhood full of multimillion dollar homes. The view is amazing. The park has play structure, slides, and a cool, web like climbing structure (think Spiderman). The center is an expansive grass field good for frisbee, soccer, and kite flying. There is a wide oval path that is perfect for riding tricycles, rollerskating, and walking. It is never crowded. Sometimes it feels a bit eerie being the only one there as it is secluded. There are benches overlooking the view and a unique globe fountain. Sometimes the water is turned off, but it's still an interesting piece of art. I dock it one star because it doesn't have a bathroom (which I understand would add to maintenance for the City and more prone to vandalism). When my son was younger and I took him to the park, he had a nature call and well, had to go. read more
