After 30 seconds he said there is a new issue causing my cornea erosion. It's your bottom eye lid not the accident from years ago. Go see my colleague and get surgery to fix the lower eye lid. So what about the cornea ? Oh. That's fine. Treated the problem totally different. Went to car called and go second opinion and cornea fixed by noon. The receptionist and tech who did my medical chart were great. However. The doctor was lost for words and out the door fast when he looked at the chart and saw it was him 4 years ago who treated me. Highly do not recommend this place.

I saw one of their neurologists today to help figure out why my eyes keep blurring out and having shadowed double vision. If you need a doctor like this be prepared to wait for the appointment. Fiften years ago there were only maybe a dozen to twenty eye neurologists in the USA. There are more now but not that many... so the fact that we have three on staff here is incredibly fortunate. The fact that the two I have had care for my vision are empathetic as well as thoroughly skilled is just beyond amazing luck. On the day of your appt charge your phone or bring something to occupy yourself. There can be a lot of waiting... this is normal! Why??? Their patients all have complex issues and the doctors will take as much time to thoroughly try to solve each one. One by one.... That can back up the flow. Just realize when its you in that room... they will give you 100% of their attention. They will come in fully prepared (meaning they have read your chart thoroughly prior to seeing you) and will ask you as many questions to get to the root of the problem and you will leave with an action plan and answers. Its productive. You are in good hands here.

I have to admit Im a complete wimp when it comes to have any sort of test done. Anything involving…read moreneedles puts me in panic mode. I needed a CT scan done and my doctor sent me to the Eastside Health Center. They called me to set up the appointment and pre-register me. When I got there I was taken in almost immediately to complete the rest of the paperwork and confirm insurance. Please note: Make sure you tell them you want THEM to bill your insurance company or they will bill you and you have to fight with the insurance company to pay it. After I finished with the paperwork side, Lynn walked me through and was with me the rest of the process. She explained everything so thoroughly, brought me the contrast to drink, put the IV in, and administered the test. She was so kind that even thinking about it now is bringing me to tears. She calmed my nerves and made me as comfortable as it could be. If everyone is as nice as Lynn at Ohio Health, I will definitely make it a point to go to their facilities for tests.
