Impromptu dinner for one. Seared furikake crusted tuna, grilled baby gems and fired shishito peppers, all from Canyon Gourmet.

Nothing in the house to eat? The Canyon Gourmet has you covered. Not only do they have some great ingredients to put together a delicious meal, it is the amazing staff that makes this place such a pleasure. Whether you are putting together a quick meal, planning a party, or just dropping in for some organic soft serve. Thank you Canyon Gourmet!!

I would easily cycle 67 miles just to savor the Gjusta bakery croissants that Canyon Gourmet serves. The very best fresh daily croissant and danish you can find in the whole area by far. My favorite is the ham & cheese but the baklava is also amazing. I'll keep coming back!

Special treats for my sons quarantine birthday. Shopping on Mercato was easy!

Get there early enough and you can buy Gjusta baguette's and pastry. It's worth moving to to Topanga just for the bread.

The cleanliness and organization provide a calming shopping experience. I would have loved to give 5 stars but my experience at the juice bar is almost always less than pleasant. There is a young woman with a piercing and very full lashes that is very rude. I understand that if she is making drinks to wait but when she approaches the register she doesn't even say hi. She just stares at you. She also ignored the customers behind us. When handing off drinks, she doesn't say a word so people aren't sure of whose drinks they are. It's the only part of the store where the workers aren't as approachable.

Been here a few times now and it's been great other than the usual stares I've grown up with. That doesn't bother me. What bothered me today was the first time purchase of just a couple steaks from the butcher. One dry aged and one tbone. The dry aged was fine. My issue is the tbone. What I saw in the butcher display showed the usual two cuts on the bone. Going home I found that the Filet part was cut and missing. If that's the case I would have just gotten a NY strip. I am disappointed in that and was never something I grew up with and expected from a market like BF. Next time I am there I will be saying something and want to check and see what exact cut I am getting. Thank you.

Ok. I've seen this place online and thought to myself "if I'm ever in Woodland Hills, I'm going…read morehere". Well.....today was the day. It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

The family vibe is very present and the impressive bulletin board (Cricca's Community) really brings out the neighborhood feel of the place. It's better than the yellow pages, offering everything from handyman services and guitar lessons, to divorce attorneys and mobile RV repair. But I digress. Did I mention how massive the sandwiches are?! I went with the two most popular items on the menu, starting off with the Al Capone (hot Pastrami, double meat, on crusty bread). This is an excellent sandwich, and the meat is pretty lean - not a lot of fat). I also ordered the Godfather (cold Italian Sub - Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham, Capocollo, Salami, Pepperoni, Swiss Cheese and Provolone). Also, delicious. You rarely get turkey and roast beef in an Italian sub - so good. The service was very friendly and helpful. There are a few indoor tables, in case you can't wait for that first bite. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often; I would be here all the time. Definitely one of the best sandwiches in LA. If you haven't been to Cricca's, then you don't know sandwiches.

We worked with Jeffrey Kramer and his team for our wedding day…read more After all was said and done, we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. After many (MANY) months of researching catering companies and private chefs alike, we finally found Jeff, and everyone else paled in comparison. (My issues with other catering companies spanned from a lack of individual care, to price-gouging, to a lack of food choices/limited offerings). This is one of those reviews that is so difficult to write, because how can I do him, his company, and his service justice. It's how he approaches his craft, and it's his entire way of working through the lens of genuine respect for food and people. He gets it. And he goes to all lengths to make sure you are communicating effectively together to ensure he understands exactly what you want and need. Jeff also offered us the choice of employing the services of a Wedding Coordinator he partners with, which we wisely opted in for. Marnie Lerner is a true gem and an essential part of helping pull our whole day together. These two worked so well together as a team, and it was just apparent that they truly had everything more than under control. A separate full review for her will be written, of course! When you're looking for a caterer or a chef for your very special event, you are forced to hand over the reins at one point, and just... trust. This is the scariest. But, with Jeff, no need to be concerned at alllll. He works so very hard before your event, to make sure every detail has been considered and accounted for, and that everything will pan out as you envision. And he works so very hard during your event, along with his carefully orchestrated professional and talented crew to make sure all is executed just so, at just the right time. I need to add that we had very particular dietary needs for a handful of our guests, and Jeff didn't bat an eye. My guests were both taken care of according to their health needs, but also according to their preferences. We had such fantastic, delicious choices for our guests! Everything from pre-ceremony refreshments, to eye-popping tasty appetizers (crab cakes, baked shrimp alexander, wild mushroom bruschetta (V), strawberry bruschetta (V), and truffle beef sliders), to the heirloom tomato, burrata, and arugula salad before the main course. He also provided a variety of yummy breads on the table per our request. And of course, the amazing entrees (chilean seabass, local grass-fed filet mignon, organic airline chicken breast, and vegan tempeh dosas - I'm not vegan and OMG these were crazy amazing!) and finally dessert which was a beautifully presented fresh fruit and cheese platter, and this French butter cream chocolate mousse cake that you will never, ever stop thinking about. I mean it. If I could go back before our wedding and tell my pre-wedding self about him and his company, and that there's absolutely nothing to worry about because everything is going to be flawless, delicious (SO DELICIOUS), beautiful, and memorable ... and with the lasting memory we have of this special and meticulously created meal... well sadly that's just not how life works, but it is WHY I'm writing this review. I hope everyone who is searching high and low for that just-right person to work magic at their special event will be able to find Jeff. And Jeff, I will be calling you again soon, for any occasion I possibly can justify having you at. I appreciate all you did for us, and words just don't seem like enough. You are a true master of your craft, and I know how passionate you are about it. Well done, sir. We wish you the best, and we will not be strangers!
