I asked the price and was told $50. The man working could not give me any information on pricing for the cake I needed. I was trying to order a cake the same size, same shape and same ingredients as the one available to purchase. I didn't want the ribbon and flowers that were on it. I only wanted a light dusting of edible pearls (available on Amazon for under $8/bottle). I asked if he could call the owner, which he did. I explained what I was looking for and the owner told me the price - which was 80% more than the equivalent cake in their display case. If you want to get overcharged, go right ahead. She filled it to the brim was fresh luscious blueberries and the crust was hands down the best pie crust I have had. My father said it was one of the best pies he has ever had, comparable to the pies his mother baked for him as a child. I don't get pies often but when I do, I will be sure to order them from Jill.
