While staying at welks resort we stopped by for breakfast at canyon grille, the place is nice they have a big bar area as you walk in on one side and the restaurant on the other side. We were greeted and shown to our seats, the breakfast menu is pretty small and the food was very underwhelming. I ordered the French toast which didn't have much flavor to them the berry sauce on top wasn't sweet either, my mom had the Benedict's and the avocado was very ripe not good. Our server seemed distracted, we asked him for sugar and he forgot when we reminded him he seemed irritated with us. I don't recommend this place I will not be returning

The options for lunch weren't catching our eye. The restaurant was pretty empty. We opted for the burger and it was pretty tasty. We also ordered the fried shrimp which had a very unique breading wrapper around it. It was just okay. The service was good.

1:15 hrs after ordering the food main course still. Appetizer came after 45 minutes. These are the pictures of the restaurant and how busy it is. AVOID!

Chicken wrap excellent with delicious side salad.

Food was good but vast lack of choices very sad. Not everyone want basalmic on everything. Service great. Sit on the patio for beautiful views and wide open airy space in warm weather, peaceful. Expect prices to be a bit high. It's a resort.

Tuscana with shrimp - the pasta was good but shrimp was way too salty

We were staying at The Welk Resort and decided to place an order from here on our first night. We ordered: Calamari frito misto - the calamari was okay, but very greasy and not crispy enough. The zucchini sticks were very soggy as well. Clam chowder - did not taste like clam chowder at all and just smelled and tasted like brown butter (?). I'm not sure what went wrong here but it just tasted like cream and butter, no others flavors here, unfortunately. Farmers burrata - decent salad with burrata, tomatoes, arugula and balsamic Firecracker shrimp - the shrimp were pretty crispy but didn't have much flavor overall Tuscana with shrimp - my kids enjoyed the tuscana pasta and we all agreed that this was the best dish from them. The shrimp on top was very salty though Overall, some items were decent but many were also lacking flavor. Maybe the other items on the menu are better, but I most likely won't order from here next time.

Valerie is our favorite server here. She is so nice and efficient. The food here is amazing. The Service is even better. The ambulance is casual and clean we are a party of 16 and we just ordered six appetizers

So bad!!!! The burger I ordered was made with one of those frozen patties that are bagged in the freezer section. But this one tasted even worse. Lowest quality meat!!!! I will never eat here again!!! No one else should eat here also! The pizza sucked too!!! Avoid this place this!!!!!

Stood around the front waiting to be acknowledged for maybe 10 minutes while staff were walking by and speaking to each other.... The menu is insanely limited considered this is basically the only restaurant at this resort. The food was very slow to come out which was strange bc we didn't order anything complex and there were only 2 other tables in there. The food was ehh. Mediocre and not great. The burgers were alright. There was this horrendous smell that filled the entire restaurant. It smelled like a sewage leak. Had to enjoy already not good food while sitting in what smelled like an abandoned porta-potty. The only reason I gave 2 stars is bc my server was so nice. I can't remember her name(maybe it was Carmen?) but she mentioned she was just returning to work after an injury? She was very nice and on top of it.

    Clam chowder
    Chloe K.

The food is ok, nothing exceptional and I was very hungry when I got there...salmon was cooked well, not too dry. The sauce was a little sweet, I wasn't quite sure what to compare it to. The clam chowder was very sweet. Haven't tasted a clam chowder this sweet in ages. And portion size is small for $12. Service was terrible. We had to keep asking for service. Water took ages to arrive. They forgot my order so I had to wait much longer than expected. It's the only restaurant at the Welk so you are stuck with what they offer. They have a very limited menu and they don't offer delivery or room service. They're not great at accommodating food allergies since many items are made by third parties.

Lobster Mac n cheese was too rich with the bacon. I think it would've been better without the bacon. We also got the blue cheese on the side. Mud pie was good but was pretty frozen making it hard to eat. Complimentary butter cake for the birthday girl was an added bonus. Butter cake was delicious. We came here bc we had the Chase credit but also it was close to birthday girls house. Short and sweet summary: Don't order the steak. Prices are pretty steep and food fell short of expectations. To me, the food was 3.5 to 4 stars. I ordered the thai and basil soda mocktail which was super refreshing and not too sweet! The spicy tuna and crispy rice was really good! I ordered the harvest bowl ($26) and added 3 oz. of steak for an additional $15. I didn't think that was a good value for roasted veggies and a small portion of steak. Some of the steak was extremely chewy as well. My friend said the hot honey chicken sandwich was good but there was a lot going on. I did take a bite of the molten butter cake while it was hot and fresh (I ordered it to-go) and the caramel really elevated the cake. Five stars for ambiance and service. The vibe here was smart casual. I did enjoy the aesthetic. Service was A+ with Emily. The manager came over a couple of times to make sure we were comfortable which was super sweet! First off, Im 100% sure the owner here uses ChatGPT to answer all negative yelp reviews. Second off, are they even a brewery? I see cans and taps of their own beer, but looking into the business, I dont think they own a brewery at all. This is more along the lines of a taphouse/pub. THAT BEING SAID, the food is quite nice. I think the pizza is great and it feels like they make and roll their own dough which is respectable and ambitious for a random little spot like this.
