I went here with my mom, godmother, and my godmother's daughter for a brunch/lunch and it was my godmother's birthday coming up. This was the first time for my mom and I and the service was excellent. My mom had the fruit parfait and I had the Cinnamon French Toast with cream cheese and cinnamon syrup. It was the best although i was not expecting the french toast and the cinnamon to be that sweet. It definitely gave me a bit of a sugar rush :) Excellent service from our waitress who was super sweet and checked on us and was very nice. Will have to come back again in the near future! It was a little bit noisy with the loud music and my mom had a little trouble hearing. My mom and I had to switch places so that she and my godmother could catch up and chat. If I could give zero stars I would. We recently visited during the week for an early dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated on the patio--which was fine because we had our 2 year old with us--but it was 80 degrees out and not a lot of air flow. Our server's name was Kyra or Kyla--I'm not too sure because it was hard to hear her over the music playing. She was nice enough but there must've been sort of disconnect with our toddler's meal. Either she forgot to put it in the POS system and asked the kitchen to quick fire it or the kitchen was in the weeds and we weren't made aware of the situation. Nonetheless, we purposely put the kid's burger in when we put our appetizer in. Her burger didn't come out until 45 minutes after the appetizer got to our table! I'm not exaggerating either--515 we got our fries and then at 6pm a child's hamburger...on a Tuesday! Our entrees were finished and we asked for the bill before it even came out. I shouldn't have had to check on it as a server's job is to know what your table has ordered and make sure it actually gets to the table. I'm extremely disappointed that there was no apology, no discount or comp. to our meal because of this mistake. We won't be returning. read more

First time visiting this location. A friend and I had lunch. I'm glad I made a reservation because the indoor seating was fully booked by the time I checked in. To me, the food was 3.5 to 4 stars. I ordered the thai and basil soda mocktail which was super refreshing and not too sweet! The spicy tuna and crispy rice was really good! I ordered the harvest bowl ($26) and added 3 oz. of steak for an additional $15. I didn't think that was a good value for roasted veggies and a small portion of steak. Some of the steak was extremely chewy as well. My friend said the hot honey chicken sandwich was good but there was a lot going on. I did take a bite of the molten butter cake while it was hot and fresh (I ordered it to-go) and the caramel really elevated the cake. Five stars for ambiance and service. The vibe here was smart casual. I did enjoy the aesthetic. Service was A+ with Emily. The manager came over a couple of times to make sure we were comfortable which was super sweet! Came in for lunch w friends for the first time after reading great reviews. Seated in a big and comfortable booth. I ordered the seared tuna chop salad which was so delicious! We had a lovely dinner with friends last night! Everyone enjoyed their meal and they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy. The Artichoke Ricotta dip did not list as GF but when asked they swapped the bread for a crudités of cucumber carrot and snap pea! Delish! We also shared the chilled shrimp which was also yummy! For mains we had The Sea Bass, Korean Skirt Steak, Chicken frites and the house salad with avocado! We stopped by for Easter brunch. For the holiday, they had their usual brunch menu along with a special cinnamon roll. Service was good, and even though they were pretty busy, they still checked in on us throughout the meal. Our group ordered the cinnamon roll, short rib potstickers, turkey melt French dip, wagyu cheeseburger, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese with a side of bacon and potatoes. We also got coffee lattes (the Rocket, the Cleo, and the Wildflower). Everything was delicious! Our favorite was definitely the cinnamon roll. It was so fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, it was one of the best cinnamon rolls we've ever had. They only have it on special occasions, so if you happen to stop by when it's available, I highly recommend getting it. The short rib in the potstickers was super tender, and the house-made wrapper made them melt in your mouth, especially with the ponzu sauce. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the French dip was meaty with an au jus that was a total flavor bomb. The coffee drinks were strong, delicious, and not overly sweet. We ordered some appetizers such as the parmesan truffle fries, potstickers, chilled shrimp, some matcha and coffee lattes and a couple of breakfast items like the eggs benedict, flower child scramble and the cinnamon french toast. I had an amazing meal at the Henry. I came here for a business lunch, and Katelynn was our server. Waters and drinks came out promptly, and she never hesitated to ask how the drinks and meals were. However, the portion sizes for the price are disproportionate and too small. - Umami Brussels Sprouts $15 - these were delicious! Would reorder & a good price point. - Pressed Yellowtail Sushi $22 - great, the yellowtail melted in your mouth. - Braised Short Rib $39 - yummy, on the smaller side. - Korean Prime Skirt Steak $43 - delicious, but such a small portion. - Mac & Cheese side $11 - good but SO TINY! Typically sides are shareable, but this was smaller than a kids meal. It was shocking how little your receive and it's definitely not shareable. - Molten Butter Cake $15 - a disappointment. I thought "molten" meant it had a filling inside, but no. It's just a normal butter cake. Would not reorder. The environment and ambiance was nice and a perfect date night. Made reservations for a large group (12) celebrating a special birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was really busy and our table was not ready. We waited and we waited. Eventually someone approached and asked if we would be willing to split up into two groups and sit in two different areas of the restaurant - NO! We were finally seated all together about 37 minutes after our reservation. The wait staff were fun, attentive, engaged and made some excellent menu choices. Our appetizers were amazing! Artichoke & Ricotta Dip, Grilled & Chilled Shrimp, Pretzels & Provolone Fondue and Short Rib Potstickers. Our visit really fell apart with the entrees. Most of our party but a couple of our group put together another appetizer along with a side as their meal. The entrees trickled out and some of group had been eating their entree for 15+ minutes before others received their entrees. The food was okay. My mother ordered a twice baked potato that never did arrive. When she finally mentioned it we were all pretty much done eating. The evening wasn't the celebration we were hoping for. Great experience on a Saturday night. Went @ around 5:30pm. We got to sit on the patio section. I was afraid it would be too cold, but surprisingly the heaters keep the patio area really nice and warm. I noticed they also provide you with small blankets if you ask them. We got a server that was in training, and she was extremely sweet and efficient. I forgot to get her name, but the whole staff were excellent. I had my all time favorite harvest bowl and a winter sangria. Food arrived really fast and drink was perfect. This was my first time at the Carlsbad location, I usually go to the on in Coronado. I used to go to the one in Coronado, but since they opened one by my house, why not go to this one too? This location has sushi and a bit more options in drinks. Been here a few times now and had an early birthday dinner here, where I was given a card and free champagne. It was very cool of them. I also had the option of picking out a dessert with a candle for my birthday. My kids love the sushi and crab cakes here. They also love the potatoes here: truffle fries, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes were all delicious. I loved the crab cakes, the tuna crudo, and the roasted chicken. We've sat inside as well as outdoors and I don't think you can go wrong with either. They had the heat lamps on for outdoors and so it didn't feel like we were outdoors. This place didn't open that long ago and they're always crazy busy so if you don't have a reservation for dinner, good luck, but you could probably sneak by for an early brunch or breakfast for brunch. I really love their iced coffees. I think they are phenomenal. I brought my brother here and he's somewhat of a coffee snob and he loved it too. That being said I'm not a huge breakfast food person so I can't tell you that their brunch is life-changing food wise, but it is well worth it for the Coffee and we've come here for dinner. One time as well and dinner was really good. Their martini was delicious. I've also come a couple of times to just sit at the bar solo before an appointment somewhere else and the bartenders are always super kind and they make a great drink. Parking can be hard in this plaza right out front of the restaurant but there's plenty around and this is a nice shopping center to kind of walk after dinner and taking some window shopping and walking off dinner this place is really cute. The burger was disappointing the bun was dry and had a strong burnt taste. The Caesar salad was decent. The spicy tuna was almost good but the bottom was a bit dry and there was a little too much mayo. The cocktails were tasty, and parking is easy with plenty of space. Went here for the first time since it opened. We were very curious, since it took the place of Panera (casual eatery with great seating and conversing, no waiter, stay as long as you want, go back for more etc). I was a bit disappointed that it was a couple levels higher as a restaurant, has a wait for seating if you go at a popular time and is a LOT pricier. Service: The wait staff is super helpful, knowledgeable and hyped up. They suggest items and encourage you to try as much as possible. Our waiter explained that they (wait staff) were all highly trained and that the cook is NO NONSENSE. Which I love. Food: That being said, our food was very good. I got the Roasted Chicken and Avocado Salad, which was wonderful. Fresh and crispy with house made croutons and wonderfully colorful. I'd get it again ... but a bit expensive. My hubby ordered the All American Burger. It was a great burger ... but nothing extra special (in his words). Meh. Again, a bit expensive. Drink: I ordered a diet Coke, which was hardly bubbly - quite dead in fact. I told the waiter, who apologized and asked if I wanted another. Of course I said, 'no', pouring another one isn't going to change their proportions. I hate this. When I get a diet soda, I want it lively! Well, he brought me a specialty drink as an apology, the Honeydew Highball (non alcoholic). I appreciated that, it was great wonderful - except it wasn't sugar-free, of course. Oh well, it was a nice gesture, and I appreciated that. Dessert: We tried the Molten Butter Cake because it was highlighted on the menu and we wanted to try their 'signature' dessert. The waiter raved about it. When it came to the table, the waitress poured warm caramel over the vanilla gelato. Impressive! The gelato and carmel were amazing, but when it came to the cake, it was so-so. Not like our favorite warm butter cake at another favorite restaurant. At all. I won't get it again. The small bar was lively - we sat near it. The atmosphere was fun, clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a nice place for maybe a couple times a year. We wish it was more of a neighborhood restaurant where you can bring your kids once every couple weeks. It's not real kid-friendly in our opinion. There you have it. Try it once .... you'll like it, then you decide for yourself. In our opinion, we may go back again within the next year, but we're not rushing back.
