Took the kiddos for some bowling.. I come here every once and a while.. Usually have a issue with the mechanics of the lanes.. Today we didn't have any issues and had fun.. The place is always clean and the staff are always super friendly and helpful.. My only thing that is didn't like was the weekend price.. Would have bowled longer had it not cost $55.00 for one hour and three shoe rentals.. FYI.... The Onion Rings Are Awesome!!!

    Customer service

Very bad customer service and when we asked to speak to the manager they said call on Monday and didn't even give us their names. To be honest I felt discriminated against as soon as we walk up to the counter. The one with the glasses was speaking over my sister asking a question. She's a black card holder at Morongo and was given this coupon for bowling. They didn't honor it and said they were not affiliated with the casino at all.

    Having a great time

Went for New years Eve (which is also our daughters bday) reserved the land prior. Place is small but not too small. It's clean with a upbeat vibe. Pizza is ok your typical bowling alley pizza. Bar to serve alcohol. Bathrooms are clean. We will be back.

California has not legalized commercial casinos. So how do Morongo, Yamaava, Agua Caliente and the other California casinos do it? They are all located on Indian lands. Native American tribes can own casinos in certain areas due to tribal sovereignty, which allows federally recognized tribes to operate largely independently of state gambling regulations, so long as they do so on sovereign lands. What's different? Primarily, no Sports Book, and no traditional roulette or craps (they use cards instead of dice or a roulette ball). Also, slot machine payouts are not as transparent as, say, Nevada state gaming laws require. Also, no high end shopping, but the Cabazon outlets are right next door, and El Paseo shopping in Palm Desert is right down the lane. What's the same? Super giant gaming floor with a zillion slots machines from one penny to $500 per pull. There's a fancy steakhouse on top which I will try next time, an AYCE buffet, and a few other restaurants. I have not stayed there, as I am loyal to Bonvoy properties, but everyone in the know says the lazy river cannot be beat. Free parking, though you must hoof it from some distance to the casino door. Morongo has to address the amount of 18 year olds running around. (Perhaps they're 21 but it didn't appear so). They tend to jump on a table, make one bet, get rowdy, and don't play with correctly. When 1 person makes a bet, their 8 person group stands behind them making the table feel cramped. They then leave immediately and will circle back to jump back in and do it again. It's Just not the most enjoyable experience at the tables. The only thing missing at this casino is a craps table! They have electronic craps but nothing beats the feeling of throwing dice. I will say I was happy to hit an unexpected hand pay at the end of my day. I'll be back for the lazy river for sure. Always a good time

COVID hit and we tried again for October, but then finally was able to have our wedding in June of 2021. Through all the changes, Savannah, the wedding coordinator made sure that our wedding day was the day in which we had been dreaming of. Savannah was beyond organized and so kind. She is also so patient in answering all of your questions and meeting with you to go over plans. During COVID she worked on re-decorating and updating the lodge so that it looked even better than we could possibly imagine. If you are looking for a beautiful and rustic wedding venue, I would highly recommend this lodge. Also, the lodge booking comes with all the greatest vendors: For our photographer we had James Tang and he is beyond incredible. He is so energetic and goes above and beyond to get the perfect picture. Our DJ was booked through Lakeside DJ with Frank. He was the best DJ we could have asked for. I highly recommend booking with him as well. Also, Fox in the Woods catering's food is to die for. The brisket melts in your mouth and the potatoes are delicious. Tina was beyond sweet and her food is something that you will never forget. For dessert we went with Espie Cakes. If you are able to book with her, order the brownies. They are the best. Finally, our flowers were through Jasmine Rose Flowers. She goes above and beyond to make the ceremony and reception look the way you have dreamed about.

I took my guitar to Repair Land after another local musician told me it was the only place in the desert that worked on guitars. I later learned that wasn't true. When I walked into the shop, it appeared more like a personal living space than a professional repair facility. I left my guitar for service and, when I picked it up, I was disappointed to find that very little seemed to have been done. The issues I brought it in for were largely unchanged, and I felt that the quality of the work did not justify the cost or effort. After that experience, I attended the guitar festival on Miles Avenue in Indio and spoke with several musicians and vendors. To my surprise, a number of people I spoke with did not recommend Repair Land and shared their own negative opinions and experiences regarding the business. Because the owner has publicly claimed to work on a very large number of instruments each month, some of us became curious about the level of activity at the shop. A vehicle equipped with a camera was parked on the public street nearby over several days, and based on what was observed during that time, there appeared to be very little customer traffic coming and going. Obviously, everyone can draw their own conclusions, but between my personal experience, the feedback I heard from other musicians at the guitar show, and what I observed afterward, I would not trust this shop with another instrument. I would strongly encourage musicians to explore other repair options in the Coachella Valley before making a decision.

Because of the extreme heat, it is standard practice for families in the area to carry their own water for hydration. Upon arrival, I attempted to speak with the older gentleman working the front desk. The service was disorganized, I had to repeat my request multiple times, and the interaction was repeatedly interrupted by other guests. The experience culminated in a very frustrating policy enforcement. Despite the temperature being 99° at 2:00 p.m., I was informed that my daughter was not allowed to bring her water bottle inside. In such a high-heat climate, enforcing a 'no outside water' policy feels incredibly unreasonable and shortsighted. I hope management considers how this policy affects families, especially during the peak summer heat. Overall, I dont feel the need to promote and/or give my business to this establishment in the future.
