Great place. The selection is impressively good, given the size. And the prices are quite reasonable, particularly given the location.

This is a very good tour for any beer lovers out there. Just taking the trip to Golden itself was…read moreworth it. I will say having toured Budweiser and Miller before this (for the big 3), I'd rank this 3rd, however that doesn't mean you shouldn't do the tour. The website to schedule was a little wonky but eventually I was able to secure a 10:50 AM tour on a Friday. We arrived via ride share around 10:20. They told us to return around 10:40 to get ready for the shuttle ride over. When we returned it was like a fine oiled machine. We took the shuttle ride over and then were introduced to our tour guide and our ids were checked. Tour itself takes about an hour and you have two beers during the tour itself and then one at the end. The first "stop" you can have a Coors Light or Blue Moon. Second stop you can have a Coors Banquet, and then at the end you are able to choose between a Banquet, Coors Lite, Miller Lite, or a Molson. Tour guide was very informative and the tour itself was good. You are able to see various components of beer production. Schedule early and enjoy the tour, then walk over to Golden. You may want to stop in the gift shop to buy a crowler to go. It's a cute 25 ounce beer.

For the tour they have a No Bag policy, even sometimes as small as a purse is not permitted. You'll have to leave bags in your car, if you took public transport they do have lockers to rent in the shuttle waiting area near the parking lot. Overall the 90 tour was great, it came with three 8oz beers throughout the tour. You'll find out all about the history of coors and their expansion.

Their expansive patio has great views of North Table Mountain to the west and a sports complex to the south. Their large interior was packed on a late Wednesday afternoon. The bartenders were very pleasant, and they came out to the patio to give our 15 week old husky mix puppy pets and treats. The house made beers were top notch. There was a food truck serving Turkish doner kebabs that were really delicious. We'll happily return to this excellent establishment the next time the winds blow us to Golden.

We ended up finding two seats adjacent to a larger group. Aside from a lack of seating, the other drawback is no TVs in the main room, so if you're wanting to watch anything (such as the NFL playoffs on this day) you're out of luck. On the bright side, they had a great beer selection...five different malts, so we started with a flight. In order of preference: * Maple bourbon pecan brown * Tmave pivo dark Czech lager * Up and about mocha stout * Black planet imperial porter * Rambler American amber One note, if what we got was actually the Rambler, it's the worst amber we've ever had. It tasted more like an IPA, which we both hate, than an Amber. Didn't care for this one at all. After finishing the flight, we each had a Czech lager followed by the pecan brown. The more of the lager I drank, the less I liked it. It was fine, but not sure I'd get it again. All in all, cool place with good beer. Especially on a nice day where you can sit outside.
