There is nothing special about their pizza. I had a Buffalo Chicken pizza, which ironically had no buffalo sauce on it. I had to ask for a side of sauce and the employee appeared a bit put off by my request. When she only filled the 2oz container half way, I asked that she fill it completely as there was no sauce on my pizza. She did offer an apology or ask any questions, just handed me the sauce without a smile. A smiled and said thank you. A 12" pizza is $18. An 8" personal is $12. Cost to make; maybe a few bucks. And, as previously stated, the pizza was average. On our way out, I looked over at two employees who were talking, and I said, "thank you, have a nice afternoon." Not a response from either, but one looked my way. That right there told me I would never return nor recommend this place. If you can't be kind and appreciative of your paying customers, then you don't deserve their business. Good local pizza spot in Moab right on the main road. Carryout was the offering, but luckily most everything here is close to the hotels, so no big deal. You can also dine in. We ordered online and went and picked it up. It was ready fast on an early Friday evening. We ordered just a plain large cheese pizza, and a large garden salad. They both easily fed us four people. The salad was so green and fresh! Lots of color in the tomatoes and greens and they gave us options to remove things we didn't like (ie: green pepper) Pizza was good, sauce was flavorful. We stopped by this place to pick-up an easy dinner to take to our campsite in Arches National Park. They have an exciting menu with lots of interesting toppings--so much so that we felt compelled to split out pizza in half to try two different options: Nashville Hot Pie and Jalapeño Popper. Because the pizza was so insanely covered with veggies, some parts of the dough was a little undercooked. But everything else was amazing! The chicken cordon blue pizza was incredible, which we ended up getting because they accidentally made it instead of the pizza we ordered, so in the end we got both! The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a great view of the cute downtown and give the place an open feel. Stop for SUPER delicious pizza! Staff- They were friendly and when they made one of one pizzas wrong, they gave it to us anyway AND baked the correct one. Venue- It's very loud inside with the cement floors and open floor plan. Sadly, they don't have booster seats which put is in a bind, with 2 toddlers in tow. But the floor to ceiling windows provide great views on the surrounding hills! Pizza- The crust is tender and the perfect depth- not to thick but sturdy enough to hold a lot of toppings. The sauce is mild and compliments the fresh toppings. We tried: - Supreme - big YUM -Chicken bacon ranch- Um, wow! -Garden pizza- Had a mountain of yummy fresh toppings, but the crust wasn't baked all the way. Maybe the toppings soaked it. Sadly, we couldn't eat it. -Chicken cordon bleu- The mistake pizza was SO delicious with a honey mustard drizzle over tender chicken. Because they let us keep it, we had enough to make up for the doughy Garden one. - Jalapeño popper- SO yummy with puddles of cream cheese, crunchy fried onion pieces, and rounds of peppers. Even those of us with sensitive pallets loved it. Ice cream- Shout out to another small, local company! "It was pretty good." Is probably the most apt description of Canyon Pizza. We had a typical pepperoni pizza with one half of the pizza also including pepperoncini peppers and garlic twists on the side. It took 45 minutes to get our food which we would have preferred being warned it would take that long before we put our order in, but what can you do. All that said, the age old question of whether a pizza has the right cheese to sauce to bread ratio is not a question at Canyon Pizza...it's definitely too much cheese. It's really not even close. That makes the pizza unnecessarily greasy, especially with well-cooked pepperonis. All that said, the pizza wasn't bad, it was actually pretty good. The garlic twists were damn good. Went here on a whim to grab a quick dinner before stargazing. We were met with an awesome manager at the counter who, at our request, gave us a few options if it was "his last meal". The Jalapeño Popper Pizza was his immediate go-to followed by a few others. The Popper Pizza was great, The GodFather decent too, service was friendly and fast. In and out in less than 30 minutes. As much as I hate to admit it, this was the best restaurant meal we had in Moab (we did most of our own cooking, which was 10x better than anything we could find in Moab). The crust was great, kind of round-table'esque. NOT a flatbread, or "thin crust", or "wood fired" (aka burned) crust. Had it been crispier on the bottom, it would have gotten 5 stars. Leftovers, the next day when properly crisped were even better than the first day, and were a big hit in our group. Pricing was reasonable IMO for the XL pizza. read more

I am gluten sensitive and often get anxious wondering if the pizza will actually be good. They offer a 12" GF pizza for $19. I ordered pepperoni. I love well cooked/burnt pepperoni and they made a perfect pizza. So much gooey cheese. My son said both pizzas were delicious, but he liked the GF one better.
