    Shrimp scampi

Came at noon today, it was packed! Had the same great waitress in the bar. Enjoyed the shrimp scampi and key lime pie. Even though she was busy with ten tables, she checked on me often. Food was good and service too!

The ambiance is causal and the wait staff are pleasant. Their offerings are well documented in both menus and signage boards. Their offerings delivery and presentation of said food choices was both prompt and appealing. The temperature and aroma was spot on. My wife enjoyed her surf and tuff meal. I had a light salad with Salmon filet as I wasn't feeling a need for a large meal at the time.

    It was yummy!

All of the above. Comfortable, cozy ambience. Top notch friendly, warm, and smart service (thank you Bree, Annie, and Zach). And the food... omg... delicious. I wanted to post a pic of my plated dinner, but I couldn't wait to partake. I had the fresh catch - striped bass pan seared with beurre blanc - and the creamiest risotto and perfectly crisp asparagus. I'm in culinary heaven. Kudos to the Chef and the Cape Fear Team. We will be back! (John loved his broiled seafood platter. His word - exquisite!)

You can tell, this is the spot for the weekend locals. The comfortability of people here and the friendly staff helps. We got seated right away and out server was pretty fast initially. We sat down and ordered and got our food quickly. Food was good, priced fairly. When we were wrapping up our server seemed to just forget about us and she was walking back and forth to other tables so we had to flag her down but other than that- everything else was good.

Quick weekend visit to the area lead us to try this highly recommended seafood restaurant. Surprisingly they are located in a strip mall. Would highly recommend calling in advance for reservations on Friday because all three locations in the area book up fast. Luckily the Hays Lane location was able to accommodate us with a bar high top. Our server was Susie and she was a doll, even offered local bar suggestions for a drink after dinner. Ordered the Hushpuppy appetizer. If you get a fried platter don't bother ordering the appetizer as there will be hushpuppies on your plate. Main dishes were the Broiled seafood Platter(shrimp, mussels, haddock, scallops) sides included asparagus and rice pilaf. The fish was slightly overcooked. Also ordered the Fish and Chips. Was pleasantly surprised that the battered fish was not oily as many usually are. Drinks included the red Sangria and the Long Island Iced Tea. Food was good, preferred bigger glass for Long Island.

We hit the jackpot with Cape Fear Seafood. We were looking for an upscale place to meet friends where the food would be excellent and the ambiance supportive of us catching up with each other - relaxed and casual. I liked the setup right away, and the service was efficient and friendly - but not intrusive. The menu had plenty of sumptuous choices; I chose broiled scallops. Mine were perfect, not overcooked, tender and flavorful. I love seafood if it's prepared well, and these were among the best I've had up and down the Atlantic seaboard. I saw that Cape Fear Seafood had several locations, and I'm eager to rely upon them again for a memorable meal in a setting perfect for an evening out with good friends.

I preserved delivery of 1/2 pound peel and eat shrimp and a crab dip. The shrimp were decent but the crab dip was not good. I have had their crab dip at other locations but this didn't taste the same. The worst part was the pita chips served with it. They were SO salty that I couldn't eat them (and I like salt).

Cute little place with outdoor seating and plenty of parking. The space is clean and well taken care of. Our first server/bartender was Bre food was so good we came back the second day. Bre was attentive and offered great selections. Made a mean mocktail. Came back for an early dinner two days later. Had the tuna sandwich, amazing. The shrimp burger with some modifications, drool worthy. But the show stopper was the lobster tail. I've had lobster everywhere Maine included and this is hands down the best I have had. Spend the money and your taste buds will thank you. Mallory was our server the second time around, she was also wonderful. Seemed like she had every table on the floor but didn't stop and never lacked. We love this place. We are from out of town but anytime we are here this will now be our spot.

He got an ice cold beer and I got a strawberry tequila drink that was beautiful and tasted excellent! We sat out back on the deck which overlooked large trees and a lawn with picnic tables and things for the kids to do. I was pleased not to see dogs all over the place. That's a turn off to me. Leave them at home. We did not go back to the front yard to listen to the band, but when we left, every spot was full of people enjoying the music! We will def go back!

The hostess was friendly and we asked to sit at the bar. There we were greeted by Anthony and a lively duo playing some music. I ordered the Cucumber Flower Fizz cocktail which was fun to watch being made and even tastier! My guy ordered a bottled beer. We ordered the calamari and the oven baked focaccia bread. The focaccia was soft, warm and slightly sweet. There was a dipping bowl with some olive oil to add or not. Very good both ways! Then we split an entree of the Chicken Saltimbocca. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, it was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. We both agreed it was a unique spot and will def visit again!

It's in a gated community. The interior is lovely, but it also felt like we were back on a cruise ship (like the sky lounge on Celebrity). There's a nice large bar and lots of big windows. There's music between 5-8pm on Fridays. It was pretty loud, which made it difficult to talk to each other. Service started out slow, as we waited for a waitress to come by and take our drink orders. But she was attentive afterwards. Food: My husband had the veal parmesan with linguini. He loved the linguini but said the veal was "okay." The focaccia bread tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. I had the chicken saltimbocca, which the sauce and sautéed spinach were so, so salty! I had to scrape off the sauce and then eat the chicken with the mashed potatoes. The chicken could have been a little more tender, but it wasn't dried out. I also had the Caesar salad, which was very good. Two others ordered the sea scallops (four scallops) that came with risotto and asparagus. They both thought it was very good. One had the fish and chips (a nice size piece of fish) and the last person had the veal parmesan. They thought their food was okay. We all agreed we may not dine here again because of the distance from where we live and having favorite restaurants with better food with shorter driving distances.

We started with a dozen oysters. Unfortunately, the presentation and accompaniments were disappointing--cocktail sauce and horseradish were combined in the same container, and the mignonette lacked flavor. More concerning, several of the oysters had small pieces of shell in them. We ordered another half dozen, but they sat on the counter for quite a while. Multiple servers walked past them before they were finally brought to our table, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, my husband noticed a server drop a ticket on the floor, pick it up, and then place it back above the food that was waiting to be served. That raised some serious concerns about food handling and cleanliness. Overall, while the oyster selection is impressive, the service and attention to detail really fell short of expectations.
