    Pork Roll Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I am a regular of this place when it's open. It's a neat place to get a quick meal. It's a very casual restaurant with a variety of good grilled cheese sandwiches. I've tried many of their sandwiches and nothing has disappointed so far. Highly recommend it if you want quick and easy meal. Also, I LOVE the pictures they have on the walls. It's fun looking at where they inserted a grilled cheese into the picture.

This place is a MUST visit for vacation! It's so cute inside they have a bunch of famous paintings with grilled cheese in them and it's so funny! The food is amazing, like A M A Z I N G. I don't even know how to describe it besides amazing it's just too good, best grilled cheese place I've ever been to and everyone should definitely give this place a try!!!!

Grabbed a quick lunch here during a recent Cape May trip. Decor is a cool selection of grilled cheese themed art. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and gave good recommendations. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich, served with some tasty fries. The salad option aka "Da Bowl" fell a bit short for my wife. It doesn't match up to the quality of other salad bowls at a similar price point. That said, the grilled cheese sandwich certainly delivered.

Felt like I paid $14 for two slices of bread and chips. I had a grilled chicken grilled cheese and there was hardly any meat or any cheese on it. I had been here the previous summer and had a very different experience. I make much better grilled cheese with Kraft singles in my own kitchen.

Cape May Grilled Cheese is a small place with a pretty distinct menu, so I thought we'd try it out. There is obviously regular grilled cheese, but there are so many options and grilled cheese combinations that it gets crazy. The crab cake grilled cheese was like a crab cake sandwich. The Nashville chicken was pretty messy. The regular grilled cheese was real good. If you are interested in some wild grilled cheese combinations, try Cape May Grilled Cheese out. But for me, there really is no reason to overthink grilled cheese unless it's with bacon or something like ham.

The Cape May Grilled Cheese Company opened almost a week ago and the food is full of flavor! My Carolina Grilled cheese was packed with tender pulled bbq pork which mixed with the cheese was delicious. The Original Grilled cheese is also tasty. Their menu features more than grilled cheese, and has a fun vibe to the names including the Jawn. Their location is perfect, located in Ocean St, but really in the north end of the Washington Street Mall. They feature six tables and chairs inside, and then there are plenty of places to sit outside on the mall. Parking is available behind the mall shops, on the street, or in the Acme lot (which is free if you are under 30 minutes). The Cape May Grilled Cheese Company features a variety of drinks including canned soda and canned water, this was my only concern that $2.75 is a bit high for a can of soda, but it is Cape May! Go and enjoy!!!

Wandered in and was surprised to see it not be very crowded. Our first visit , so not sure what to try. Went with the Pork Roll Grilled Cheese and it was delicious! The honey chipotle sriracha was amazing with just hint of heat. Didn't see all sandwiches come with chips, so I wish substituting fries was suggested. I see it on the menu now, but overlooked in the store. The lobby was visually appealing and interesting and made us want to sit and enjoy our food. Can't wait to return and try something new!

This places takes grilled cheese to a whole new level. I got the Carolina grilled cheese and I was surprised. It is pulled pork, coleslaw on a grilled cheese. It's one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had. The pull pork is well seasoned and the coleslaw adds a nice crunch to the sandwich. The service was quick and you can tell the employee love their jobs. It's a little small but it has enough space to do a good job. If you can stop by and grab a grilled cheese you won't regret it.

The grilled cheeses here were amazing! I got the chicken bacon ranch one and the chicken was so moist and the bacon was perfect. Comes with chips. Good portion for most of the grilled cheeses costing around $10-12 except for the lobster one which costs more. Would definitely go again!

    Original Grilled Cheese Sandwich

The best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had! And the chips were amazing too. Centrally located in downtown Cape May.

Hot Nashville chicken, grilled cheese, and french fries. It was delicious.

Food was okay. Got the crab cake grilled cheese. It was a fish cake. They charged an extra $3 for taking it to-go which is extremely stupid.

We were so impressed with their serving team, their offerings, and just the restaurant as a whole. The food was amazing! They had a lot of gluten free options. The most I've seen on one menu in a while. One of the best burgers I've ever had, GF bun included. My husband was really impressed with his whole meal as well. I think some places could really learn a thing or two from Exit Zero. This place is just super cool even if you just want to take home some goods from their store. We ordered to go because we had to catch the ferry but we did eat outside as it was such a nice day. They have these super cool trucks and vans that you can reserve online to eat in as well.

I ordered the big EZ burger salad but substituted grilled chicken. The salad was huge with tomato, carrot, pickled onions, pickles, mushrooms, and beets. Everything was fresh. The chicken was overcooked but had a good flavor. They offered a water bowl for my dog. And gave him a treat that is locally made for them. Plus he got some of my chicken lol. I wish they would add a dog menu. I love the vibe being an old gas station. Never been inside. They have a new menu since my last visit. I want to go back and try the Curry dishes.

The beer selection is always impressive, with plenty of options to satisfy just about every taste. Service can be hit or miss depending on when you visit and who's working, but that's often the case at busy shore destinations. My family stops here on almost every trip to our home on the Cape May Bay, so we've experienced it at its best and busiest. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a popular shore restaurant. And yes, if you know about the bathroom situation, you know--it really deserves a permanent fix rather than another temporary patch. The menu offers something for everyone. The pizzas are consistently good, the bar food delivers exactly what you'd expect, and there are several signature dishes that are always reliable and full of flavor. When the restaurant gets crowded, you'll definitely notice it in both the service and the overall vibe, but that's just part of the shore experience. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a try. Go in with realistic expectations during peak times, and chances are you'll have a great meal. We almost always do, and I think you will too.

So we went early (no problem being seated around 5:30 or so, but it did seem full an hour later) and were we ever rewarded. Everything was simply perfect, including Vicki, our veteran and down to earth waiter. When we are unsure of things, she provided expert guidance with kindness and wisdom. The mussels appetizer are an experience not to be missed - save the bread for lapping up its saucy juice. My wife loved the pork chop - its huge and she took half home for lunch. I devoured the blackened fish of the day over bok choy. Both simply were outstanding. If/when again in Cape May again, we'd certainly come back. With a reservation!

The glassware was beautiful - one of my pics shows it. The atmosphere is very pleasant - a little romantic, a little modern but all in all perfect for an anniversary dinner - we had a corner table with bench seating so we could snuggle :) We chose three apps because it was early and we thought we'd hit another place late. These two are the duck wings and the crispy shrimp. Both delicious but the wings VERY good. We also had a swordfish crostini done on a crispy won ton and we both liked that very much. The stand out was the K&B salad which had great dressing. Loved the hot/cold contrast between the flash fried Brussels and the kale salad. I had the scallops- average and with quite a bit of grit. The carrots it came with seemed boiled and again relatively flavorless. My husband had the sea bass but unless you got some of the very minimal sauce it was plated with, it was fairly bland. I didn't even sense salt and pepper. For the price point, I wouldn't rush back for dinner but might try another meal.
