Coming from Houston, I had pretty high standards for pho, but Caphe Banh Mi pleasantly surprised me. The restaurant itself is small but cute and honestly gives off a bit of a New York vibe. There's also plenty of outdoor seating, which was perfect for us. I came with a group of 14 and we were seated outside right away. Luckily the weather was amazing, so it made for a really nice dining experience. The scenery was aesthetic and the service was impeccable. I ordered a customized pho bowl with beef slices, tripe, and tendon. The broth tasted authentic and flavorful. As someone used to Houston pho, I was actually impressed. I also didn't leave feeling super thirsty afterward, which usually tells me the broth isn't loaded with MSG. Their milk tea boba was pretty good too. This is my first negative restaurant review because I felt this experience was important to share. I ordered the Summer Rolls and the Vegan Imperial Rolls. Instead, I received Summer Rolls containing shrimp and Imperial Rolls containing meat. I don't eat meat, and I'm allergic to shellfish, so this wasn't simply an incorrect order--it was a food safety issue. I called the restaurant to explain the mistake. After spending about 15 minutes on the phone while they located my ticket and reviewed the order, I was told the Vegan Imperial Rolls had been entered incorrectly, but there was nothing they could do because the kitchen had prepared what was on the ticket. I understand that mistakes happen. What I can't understand is refusing to resolve the situation. There was no offer to replace the food, provide a refund, or otherwise make things right. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, I would be very cautious. read more

There is seating inside but heads up tables are close together and I wouldn't recommend this for large groups. This is more of a fast casual dining experience, get in get out and get going.
