Okay bear with me for a long review. I am passionate for this because I've been on a hunt for some Pho and their mango sticky rice is good too! (fair warning they do sprinkle some peanuts on there, look out, if you are allergic)! In case you don't want to read the whole thing: 10/10 pho. The portion is so worth it! The flavor is amazing and so hearty yet refreshing. Also I am 99% sure my food came within minutes of ordering because I did not even get the chance to open my book. The way I rate pho, are two things, one, the noodles, and two, the broth's flavor. Noodles: Because nothing hurts more than a yummy broth with some overcooked noodles that breaks when you try to eat them. Pho Saigon Pearl is doing it right, their noodles are perfectly cooked, you can pick them up and they're not clumpy, they don't fall apart (literally God Bless) Broth: bone broth is soooo good for your overall health and every time when I am feeling slightly under the weather, I look for a good ole pho place for some yummy broth. No one wants flavorless and greasy broth, and it's awkward to ask for salt, but LET ME TELL YOU GIRLLLLLL THE BROTH (fantastic give me 14 of em) it is sooooo perfectly seasoned, it is perfectly salty and gives you that beautiful completed flavor of meat and veggies. The ambiance is nice, lots of lighting, clean interior and spacious set up. Overall: 10/10 would recommend. It was chilly yesterday! We've been having some crazy weather this week. So when I was leaving the nail shop, I decided to stop in and check them out. Placed my order to go...clean spacious and wasn't crowded at all. I ordered the veggie pho, with a side of summer rolls and fried veggie spring rolls. The summer roll was delicious! The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and bright. Large floor to ceiling windows shed plenty of natural light and the calming music they played set the mood for a relaxing Sunday lunch. The service was fine, our waters stayed full and they were easy to talk to. The food came out fast, I really enjoyed my bun bo hue. They give plenty of bean sprout, meat, and noodles. Portioned nicely. A good balance of lemongrass and spice! I especially liked that there was even a little bit of pig trotter too. This place is convenient and the only standing restaurant in the mixed use building. It has a lot of light and is a cozy space for one or a few people. When you walk in you can seat yourself anywhere, I stood by the door waiting for one of the servers to seat me but she let me know I could sit anywhere after seeing md waiting. They bring water to your table immediately, which is nice. I ordered the crispy spring rolls and chicken pho. The spring rolls were made veggie, which wasn't my order but I was never checked on to send them back. They did not taste bad but definitely were not great. The pho was 7/10. Came in on a Wednesday during opening hours. Ordered the special pho and side of spring rolls. I thought it was ok, the portion size is big but most of it is filled with pho noodles. The broth was not there, tasted like left over, the aroma of the spices were not there. Also it tasted and looked like they didn't rinse off the noodles after blanching. My bowl was murky after I mixed up the bowl. Looks like the starch bleeded into the bowl, turned the broth hazy. I don't know what people are talking about when they say the broth is rich. What a let down, but I do love how their spring rolls are longer the most and the filling is tasty. read more

Had a pho date with my sis and we really enjoyed this place, it's was not packed just us and one other patron . The waitress was so sweet and kind, I couldn't drink anything cold and they didn't have hot tea when I asked so I opted for nothing to drink telling her I can't have anything cold right now. Then she returns to the table offering me hot water as an alternative and I truly appreciated it cause I was a little under the weather. The pho was oh so good and so were the spring rolls. I come here a couple of times a month. Excellent pho, mango sticky rice, and fast service.

I ordered the pho tai (steak) and it was really good. It was exactly what I was expecting. I wasn't sure at first of how it would taste because I'm used to seeing the steak darker but it was all good. I think the overall flavor was decent. I usually add sauces included and lime juice which adds as much flavor as I want to include. I would absolutely order it again! I was able to split the order and felt fulfilled. There is underground parking and it was only a little confusing to get to the correct floor. Either way, the building is pretty that you travel through and the restaurant is very clean and quaint! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. We came in super late and the owner and staff stayed late to accommodate us. It's spotless clean inside the restaurant, with very nice decorations. The owner took time to come talk to us and take us pictures. Now the food: the menu is very diverse. They have everything from Northern, Middle Vietnam, to Southern cuisines. Was looking around the area for some good vietnamese food and this spot was a pleasant surprise! First thing that I noticed was how neat, clean, and decorated the place was. Each table had real orchids on them! We tried their summer rolls, pho, and House Special Rice plate. I feel like the rice plate's pork chop could have been a bit bigger for the price, but nothing out of the ordinary for Arlington. I did a pick up order for the restaurant and the inside looked very cute!! My food was ready when I arrived and I only noticed that one of my containers was sitting open and they closed it once I got to the counter but it was a bit busy and it seemed like only two people were running the counter so I didn't mind. I ordered a Thai tea that they prepared on the spot which I appreciated so it didn't get watered down while I arrived. You'll want to park in the retail area and follow the signs for Pho Saigon Pearl and take the elevator to the first floor so it can put you right next to the restaurant! My mom and I split an order of their all inclusive pho bowl, an order of crispy spring rolls, Thai iced tea and an order of mango sticky rice - everything was 10/10!!! Carryout business is always bumping, and I get it! Pros: Summer rolls are stuffed with more veggies than vermicelli (I'm always made happy by how fresh the ingredients taste), and the pho is quality. Dine-in is always quick, and restaurant is always clean. Cons: Wish pho had more white onion, and the vermicelli bowl is more vermicelli than veggies. Carryout may be the better option for you if you find it difficult to sit on hard wooden chairs. read more

This is our go to place for Pho having eaten the soup in VN. Consistently tasty & fresh. We were a bit concerned about access as we always got there through the grocery store that just closed. We aimed for Pho 75 in Rosslyn but there was no parking at 1:30pm on a Sunday. So we moved on to this restaurant due to its close proximity and the great ratings. Well, we were expecting a 5 star experience but landed on a solid 3. We both had the Pho Combo #11 without the raw steak. First of all, the soup was flavorless and tasted like nothing our favorite pho restaurants produced. A home made Pho stock should have a rich mouthfeel, a gelatinous coating embalmed on your tastebuds when it is made with stock that you cook the tripe, tendon and brisket in with spices. In our bowl. there were a few strips of tripe, and barely any tendon, but plenty of thinly sliced brisket that were too chewy. Also way too much noodles so there wasn't much room left for the soup. I had the number 4 and the number 14 and it was delightful! The broth was fragrant and the meat was cooked just right! The service was good, our waitress was very sweet and even double checked our order to make sure she captured everything properly. The restaurant decor was odd, but fun! I am genuinely confused as to how this place has so many good reviews. We went with no real expectations other than looking for some decent pho. We didn't get that and everything else about our experience was basically poor at best. Service was abysmal. The only way to get one of them to visit our table was to look around desperately for a while trying to make eye contact. W we were not in a hurry and are not impatient but they literally never once stopped by the table proactively to take our order, check in, bring the check, nothing. Of course one of the three ladies working the room was at the table next to us having a long loud conversation on her phone so I can understand she was too busy to help customers. All this with only 3-4 sat tables in the otherwise empty room. The sushi place next door was packed and in hindsight we should have noticed this and realized the red flag. The food was fair. I got the conch pho and it was far too tomato-ey for my taste, although maybe that's what it's supposed to be. The condiment bottles on the table were all covered with sticky sauces. After accidentally getting a handful the first time, I used my one paper napkin the next time and it stuck so badly and fully to the siracha bottle that I just abandoned the napkin there. We were never asked a single question about our meal. Server took our order (upon us getting her attention after sitting 10 minutes), kitchen runner brought our food, and 30 minutes later through longing eye contact we got a server to stop by and requested our check. The broth was heavily under seasoned. In turn, the noodles were blander than usual. The meat felt a bit dry. The wings were amazing. The wings had a mix of crispy, tangy, spicy in every bite. So I must say this might be my new favorite spot when it comes to pho. For real for real the broth is something special. It kept me warm in the inside on this cold winter day. The restaurant itself is nice quiet and really welcoming. We got two bowls of pho, one chicken one beef. We also got the sandwich.. Did not feel like this was worth the drive and money. I was expecting a lot more from this place based on the reviews. Whether I have been spoiled by better pho, or it was an off day, overall I was disappointed. The pho tasted like it should have cost about half. I didn't even finish it because half way through I did not like the taste anymore. I eventually aimed to finish the rest as leftovers but couldn't bring myself to eat it. We've been in Arlington for a year now and still go to a Vietnamese spot in Alexandria that we love from when we lived there, I figured it was time to find a place that was just a touch closer (although I still intend to frequent my OG spot). The hubby and I went here at around lunch time on the weekend, there was one other table with patrons when we arrived. We were tended to immediately, we got a couple of waters, viewed the menu and then ordered chicken pho (the hubby) and chicken vermicelli (me). The food came out quickly and it was all delicious. I tasted the pho; the broth had a deep and sweet flavor, add hoisin and sriracha and it was perfect. There were plenty of noodles, chicken and the added basil, bean sprouts and onions were perfectly fresh. My chicken vermicelli was equally good, plentiful and delicious. Service was great throughout our experience. This is a low key spot that's a ten out of ten, we will definitely do it again! read more

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PHO I'VE HAD IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA. I was initially hesitant to check this place out because most pho places in NoVa have been pretty average but this place is gold in the midst of so many ores. I got the "P1 Pho Special Combo (Dac Biet)" and I have zero regrets even though it's a tad expensive at $14. The broth was extremely flavorful - a mix of sweet and savory! It also isn't too fattening either so I had no regrets consuming lots of soup. A good beef flavor in the soup as well! Definitely the best pho broth I had in the area. Noodles were also a good chew (a bit al dente which is my preferred texture) and soaked up flavors of the broth well. I also liked the meat quality (some of the brisket were a bit fatty but oh well). Good amount of meat, too! Meatballs were fantastic and I usually don't even like them. Definitely check this pho place out! It's absolutely delicious and the broth will warm you right up on a cold day. Will have to check out the other dishes the next time I come back (which will be soon).
