Whenever I go to pho places, I usually end up getting vermicelli. The one here is a good one. They give you a lot of both the pork and the shrimp which were flavorful enough. I've never had a fried egg on my vermicelli but I didn't mind the extra protein at all. The Thai iced tea was good and not overly sweet. My wife and I ate an early lunch there yesterday and weren't impressed but it's not so bad if you need to eat. The service was fine but not welcoming. We were sat down but never checked on after getting our food. While my lemongrass beef vermicelli was ok, my wife didn't care for her BBQ pork vermicelli. No flavor. My flavor was weak. The room could have been better as there cleaning supplies laying around, which takes away from having a better experience. Holy vermicelli. I got the vermicelli bowl with bbq pork and spring rolls and omg it was so delicious!!! There was a nice grilled flavor on the pork, super crispy deep fried spring rolls and lots of crunchy vegetables - cucumber, carrots, lettuce and bean sprouts. It was definitely a party in my mouth with so many textures and flavors. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee which they mix for you instead of the traditional drip and I loved how lazy I could be just swirling and sipping away. It was a perfect portion size and the food comes out super fast. The pho had a delicious broth and my bowl was huge, I almost wasn't able to finish it. The waiter was super friendly and brought me everything I needed before my food came out which is a plus because who wants to wait on additional condiments on a bowl of soup that will eventually get cool. The inside was very clean and each table had plenty space around it so you weren't squished between the people sitting around you. The checkout process was very simple and easy as well. I had a craving for spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue) so I gave this place a try. I ordered in Vietnamese and also asked for mam ruoc, which is a fermented shrimp paste that goes with the soup. So, I assumed that they would bring me a bowl with authentic ingredients, since I asked for the usual stuff I'd ask at other noodle places. Well, they left out the quintessential ingredient of pork feet/shank! Their excuse was people don't like it. Huh?! The price for this spicy soup was almost $19 and it lacked pork feet/shank? They also didn't have pig's blood. This omission of an important but inexpensive ingredient and the fact that their bowl was below average in size got me pretty disappointed. read more

It looked and tasted good. The pho was good - nice portion, good tasting broth, and plenty of bean sprouts to put in it. The pork chop is a really thin cut, and comes with rice and vegetables. The seasoning was good but the meat itself wasn't impressive. The beef stew comes with bread, rice, or noodles. I opted for the bread, which was a decent size and delicious. The stew comes with lime, sliced jalapenos, and basil. I also put in bean sprouts for the crunch to give it a nice contrast. The stew had a hint of spice in it but was not overpowering. The coffee and fresh lemonade was good too. I'll have to get bubble tea next time. Overall it was good and will come back. Really good Pho! I went here since a coworker suggested it and found the Pho to be absolutely delicious and affordable. There is plenty of noodle and meat that they put in it. However, I did not like that they forgot to give me sprouts and basil leaves with it. But I will forgive them simply because their Pho tasted great and the price for a large bowl is an unbelievable deal. They also have good entrees that are also quite affordable. This is some of the best takeout pho I've ever had. I got the chicken pho and it was delicious. They also allowed me to make some specific changes to what comes on the side due to food allergies. They were very kind about it and got the modifications exactly right. What puts this location over the edge is the quality of the chicken and how they package their takeout. The chicken clearly came from a whole breast and was sliced nicely. The pho noodles and chicken came in a perfect container to eat the soup out of (instead of the typical styrofoam container). After meeting Neal E, the local authority on pho ga at Tabaq, I realized I never had pho ga before. My usual choice has always been pho tai bo vien. I quickly head to my local pho shop today and got a pho ga takeout. Pho Viet Flare did a good job at packaging my soup noodle to go. The soup was in a large quart size container and I didn't have to worry about it sloshing around. The bean sprouts, lime, pepper, basil, and a small container of chili/hoisin sauce were packaged in a small plastic bag. The noodles, chicken, onion, scallions, and cilantro were tucked neatly in a container with dividers. When I got home, I reheated the soup in the microwave, added some noodles, chicken, aromatics, and sauce to taste. Tasted just like if I had the pho at the restaurant. No soggy noodles or overcooked aromatics. The chicken was thinly sliced all white meat and surprisingly moist, which was not easy for chicken breast. It was comfort in a bowl, slurp, slurp. I have never had that sugar cane shrimp with the vermicelli before! It was an authentic touch! The pork and chicken were made traditionally. Very flavorful. Their Nouc Mam was very good and flavorful. Some places make it too light that you can hardly taste the fish sauce. I also had the Spring Rolls and the Summer rolls. Not much to say here except for that they were authentic. My review will have to be short this time around! I'm going to have to come back to try the rest of the menu. I want to try the Pho! Our family has been coming here for more than a decade! My little babies are now chugging down their own bowls of pho because no one wants to share anymore! I wasn't a fan of their brisket, but their round eye was okay. The bean sprouts are fresh, and the service is friendly, but kind of slow. I've also tried their grilled porkchop, which was okay; it comes with sliced cucumbers and a bowl of fish sauce - the porkchop is kind of thin, and it was just okay, but you can pass up on this dish.
