The service was great as soon as you walk in you feel welcome, the food perfect it reminds me when I was in the island and eating the best food you can find. You can find the best mix of a flan in an empanada and it's fried had to order more than one I wish I could give it a 20/10 of how good of a place it is.

They quickly moved us to a larger table when our party of 5 turned into 8 because of surprise guests! It was a long overdue reunion. A few of us were craving the Pastelon, since we are fans of sweet plantains, but sadly, they didn't have it available that evening. However, our kind server said we could order mofongo with the sweet plantains, so we decided to give it a try. We chose the steak strips and fried pork versions. Everything was delicious! We always enjoy the variety of the menu. Plus, the expanded dining room spaces make the restaurant very welcoming. Our party of 8 was treated well, and we all enjoyed our meals!

Since we were in the area and wanted to grab a small bite to eat, we decided to stop in. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and the restaurant smelled amazing, so we couldn't wait to grab a drink and order our favorites. We decided to sit at the bar, so we were given menus to look over and the bartender was very nice. I ordered the Spicy Passionfruit Margarita and my daughter ordered the Rican Rum Punch. Both were good but I enjoyed the Margarita much better! Since we weren't very hungry, we chose our favorites which were the Arroz con Gandules and the Relleno de Papa, which is a mashed potato ball filled with savory, ground beef. The food was flavorful and absolutely delicious! They also have a pink sauce, which is a ketchup/mayo mix, but it always pairs so well with the food. Everything was so good, we put in another order of both to take home lol. De Rican Chef never disappoints! After all these years, their food still tastes just as good as it did the first time we went! If you're looking for great, Puerto Rican food, definitely stop in!!!

Everything arrived to the table hot and the dishes were very flavorful. Happy hour offered $3 imported bottled beer and margaritas at $5.99. Birthday toasts with Presidente beer and passion fruit and mango margaritas. We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. They offer dine-in and to go, as well as catering. We'll be sharing this find with several friends who love Caribbean cuisine. We will definitely keep the catering option in mind for the upcoming holidays!

The only thing about the patio was it was several birds playing and flying over our food, so I was nervous about them dropping a surprise. But it worked out!! Lol. They ordered drinks and I had water. The drink I sipped didn't really taste like alcohol. So to me it was just a pretty juice and it was mostly ice. We ordered empanadas, a chicken sandwich, a burger, coconut shrimp tacos, fries, and key lime pie. The empanadas are my favorite thing on the menu, they never disappoint. They were hot and fresh with sour cream and salsa. My chicken sandwich was pretty good to. It was a little dry because there was no mayo or anything on it, but still tasty. My daughters enjoyed their burger and tacos. The rice that came with the tacos was raw, hard, and dry. We sent that back and got a seafood chowder which was better. The key lime pie was a big chunky slice, and it was smooth and good!! Our waitress was new, but very nice. She was still learning so we were patient with her. There's a kiosk on the table if the waiter disappears where you can order more food or call someone to the table, you also pay your tab through the kiosk. All in all it was a nice little vibe. I enjoyed my food and would return!! Check them out!!

Taste of Brazil was the food truck here that night, so I scoped their menu online before ordering. We both ordered the chicken plate - mine without the plantains and his with. They were supposed to be open for ordering at 5:00 pm, but didn't start taking orders until nearly 5:30. Then, the waiting... and waiting... and waiting... 45 minutes later (and we were 3rd in line to order), we finally got our food (they definitely need to prep ahead of time for the anticipated lines). It was NOT worth the wait and we were really disappointed. For $10 each, we got a ton of plain basmati rice, some black beans, the most tasteless, dry chicken, a little shredded lettuce and a couple of grape tomatoes. I definitely wouldn't seek out the brick and mortar location and, if they're on schedule at a brewery, would be eating at home first or finding another way to spend my time.
