I haven't had something this good in a very long time. The food was gorgeous. It tasted amazing. The venue was small and cute. They did have indoor seating, but I took my food to go. The woman who attended to me was very nice and was able to shed light on the set up of the miniature food hall. I definitely will be returning.

You truly get what you pay for and more. I had the sweet chili lamb chops, Cajun cream pasta with chicken, oxtail empanada, and jerk chicken empanada, and I was blown away by the flavor in every bite. The lamb chops were cooked to absolute perfection--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sweet chili sauce gave them such a unique and delicious twist. The Cajun cream pasta was rich, creamy, and packed with immense flavor. And the empanadas? Just impeccable. Perfectly crisp, packed with filling, and paired with sauces that elevated them even more. Everything I tried was a hit, and I can't recommend this spot enough. If you're looking for incredible food with bold flavors and generous portions, Issa's is the place to go! You will not be disappointed.

We have two little ones, and they are always so gracious and accommodating. Second, the food is 10000000/10! Wow talk about flavor! Our family's favorite go-to's are the ground beef and cheese empanadas, the kids pabellon, and our ALL time favorite is the arepa llanera fried. WOW!!! So my picky toddler LOVES the food here! Their rice and beans are cooked to perfection and my son who doesn't eat a ton of meat, will eat the shredded beef here! Our favorite thing about the arepa is the sauce they put on the steak with the freshness of the cheese and creaminess of the avocado with the tomato. omg my mouth is watering as I'm typing! We seriously LOVE it here! Those are my recommendations!

The Pabellon arepa with shredded beef, cheese, beans, and plantains? Omg - perfection. Add a dash of their hot sauce and garlic sauce and it's literally the best thing ever. The salad was fresh and a perfect side to the arepa, could've used a bit more dressing, but that's easily fixed by asking for extra. Everything was so good. Will absolutely be back, and this is definitely a place I'll bring friends and family when they come visit from out of town.

Everything looked lovely, it was hard to decide on what to get. She had also just made some fresh pastries. I decided on some ube pendesal, and as I'm a sucker for tiramisu I also asked for that. She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!

So on a Thursday evening l picked up 2 combo specials from Capicu. It was Buy one get one free. Each combo was 22 dollars. I ordered off of the website for pick up. l ordered the Pernil (roasted pork) with white rice, beans and sweet plantains and my second combo was the pollo asado with rice with pigeon peas and tostones . On my way to pick up i got a call stating that they were out of the chicken (totally understandable since it was close to closing time ) So I opted for the beef empanadas. I appreciate the customer service of them calling me before I got there and giving me different options. Upon arrival I was uncomfortable with the smell. Not sure if it was old oil and grease but it was pleasant. I received my food (which was so plentiful when I checked in the car.) However , the smell of the food , was as if the oil that it was prepared with was old. Not pleasant at all. Smelled up my entire car. Finally home to taste the peril was just okay 4/10 it tasted old and like it in fact had been prepared or reheated with dirty oil. The sides and empanadas were not bad. 7/10

Empanadas, sandwiches and other finger foods. Keeping it simple for customers. Last weekend, Sophia and I drove from the Peninsula to see if the hype was legit. Walking inside, we were greeted by one of the sisters who was featured on the segment. They had a few tables where you can sit or you can order takeout. It was very clean with decor on the walls and music from the 70s to the 90s was playing throughout. Very calm during our visit. Let me use my three favorite Yelp words to describe the food: pretty damn good. For apps, we order beef empanadas. Pretty nice size and cooked perfectly. The beef and veggies were well seasoned. Their chimichurri sauce that you can add definitely brought extra flavor. Nothing overpowering at all. For our meal (and takeout), we both chose their chicken milanesa sandwich, which is a popular Argentinian dish. They were pretty big and hearty. From the thinly sliced chicken to the amount of veggies, everything worked pretty well. This trip was truly worth it. Catching local diamonds in the rough like Tango Bites is one hobby I love. You know we'll be back here :)

Taste of Brazil was the food truck here that night, so I scoped their menu online before ordering. We both ordered the chicken plate - mine without the plantains and his with. They were supposed to be open for ordering at 5:00 pm, but didn't start taking orders until nearly 5:30. Then, the waiting... and waiting... and waiting... 45 minutes later (and we were 3rd in line to order), we finally got our food (they definitely need to prep ahead of time for the anticipated lines). It was NOT worth the wait and we were really disappointed. For $10 each, we got a ton of plain basmati rice, some black beans, the most tasteless, dry chicken, a little shredded lettuce and a couple of grape tomatoes. I definitely wouldn't seek out the brick and mortar location and, if they're on schedule at a brewery, would be eating at home first or finding another way to spend my time.
