I ordered a Miles Davis Stuffed potato and it was excellent. I also ordered a side of green beans and mac and cheese that I couldnt finish until the next day and it was excellent as well. The potato had fresh seafood and was extremely fullfilling! The sides were very well seasoned. I did have a bad experience however through "grubhub" not the actual establishment. I didnt recieve my food until over 2hrs after I ordered it because "grub hub" canceled my order without my autorization and failed to give me a reason why the wait was so long, But thanks to the hospitality of the staff at Capitol Lounge, the very polite hostess over the phone who called me back after I called to check on my food stated the owner of the establishment was going to deliver my food. After an evening of frustration with "grubhub" I was very appreciative of the gesture and would definetly eat here agin and recommend others. I just suggest picking up or dining in! lol read more

Lawd!! The collard greens and macaroni and cheese!! Sooooooooo good!! Taste like southern home cooking. There were a little too many turkey bones in the greens but still so good!! The fried fish is excellent. Well seasoned and crispy. The fried chicken wings needed the same seasoning as the fish and it would have been perfect but it was a little bland. I have nothing bad to say the food was delicious I got turkey wings yellow rice and greens. No photos because I was hungry and it look too good to wait to eat. It did take a while to come out but it was worth the wait. I was with friends and the stuffed potatoes was also a great choice. I forgot the name but it had all seafood and jumbo shrimp and crab meat through out. The fried fish was battered perfectly and the seafood salad was cool as well. The bartender did a great job on drinks and was very friendly and helpful. We got there before the crowd came in which I like it's a younger crowd for the night life. Came with a friend from VA on a Thursday evening for crabs . It says 6pm til I think 11pm . I don't know how long this been a Thursday thing or how long they been open ! Let me first state that I really miss servers wearing mask !!!!! We ordered crabs , Wings , fries & shrimp ! The crabs came in a decent time . They weren't meaty at all nor big ! If i could give it zero stars i would. The food is great, but the service and the owner are HORRENDOUS at best. The area that the restaurant is in is dangerous and the owner does nothing about the people outside vandalizing his customers cars and trying to attack them. I have witnessed several incidents including the same group of people harassing the people coming in and out of the restaurant. The owner is more concerned with his image and under the table "business" than protecting his establishment and its customers. The last time I ordered food there it took over an hour and when it did come, items were missing. It took 30 minuets just to get the check only for it to also be missing items that were ordered. The entire team did an awesome job and helped in every way they could. More importantly the food was mm mm good! There was plenty and made with love lol. So I decided to give this place a try on door dash and it turned out to be a huge mistake. My order that was supposed to be here @ 1036 pm did not end up leaving the establishment until 11 pm and it did not include my full original order. I ordered crab balls which were sold out which was fine when they called at 1015 pm (they are probably popular and 8.50 for 5 crab balls). But it's when I changed my crab balls for wings and I was only to get 5 plain wings for 8.50 that i became skeptical but thought to myself Perhaps they are whole wings and not just sectioned potions/party wings. But when the called back a few minutes later to advise me that if I wanted wings it was going to take longer now because they had to thaw more out that I became irritated. So when the remaining order was then not ready until 1055 when it was supposed to be delivered @ 1036 I became annoyed. When my food arrived it was cold and it then I just did not want to eat it so I just waisted 30.00. I am also a restaurant and bar owner and this is unexceptable. I USED to be a regular but you all need to get better. The service there is horrible. This review probably won't even make them bat an eye. I called today (Sunday) around 6:40pm because when I called yesterday around 10 to order food their phone went straight to a voicemail multiple times. So when I called at 630pm on Sunday I asked when they stopped serving food. They lady says 11:35 pm. I call at 10 pm to order a pick up and they say there kitchen closes at 8. So where's the disconnect? Then another incident I called and asked for the 2 turkey wing meal. They said they have one turkey wings. I ask can they change the price bc they don't have what I'm asking for. They say no. I ask if they have baked chicken. They sa they only have one piece left. I ask them if there's any accomodations they can make and they say no. I will not return. This place had a Saturday seafood special about a week ago, it was AMAZING! I called and placed my order and my food was ready and HOT when I got there! The seafood special consisted of 2 pieces of fried whiting, 5 fried shrimp, 3 crab balls, fries & potato salad for $16.99 yes all of that food for that amazing low price!
