We had some credit score issues but my income and debt to income were solid. I went from one broker to another who said they could get it done for me only to end up wasting time and money. Most of these guys use the same system and the mortgage business has reduced all of us borrowers to just numbers. They put your FICO score into the system and it's either a yes or a no. There is no expertise to this industry it seems. I came across Great American and Steve and he seemed to have a different approach. I presented my situation to him and after some analysis he stated he could get it done. Fortunately, 5 weeks later I have a closed loan through Great American.
