I had one tiny chip in my windshield, and somehow Safelite turned that into nearly two weeks of cancellations, misinformation, and complete internal chaos. I was repeatedly told--incorrectly--that GEICO reported 6-7 chips, and my appointments were cancelled multiple times despite being marked "NOT to be cancelled." Every representative gave me different (and contradictory) information. I received email confirmations for wrong dates, wrong locations, and at one point an appointment scheduled for January 2026. When I spoke to the manager, she claimed she had "no record" of the updates I'd already confirmed with her staff. To top it off, the technician tried to cancel the day of my appointment because of "rain in the forecast," even though my appointment was in the afternoon and I clearly told them I have an enclosed, well-lit garage. He ended up arriving almost an hour late anyway. It is obvious Safelite has serious issues with communication, scheduling, and basic professionalism. I spent more time fixing their mistakes than they spent fixing my windshield. What should have been the simplest service turned into a completely avoidable, frustrating mess. I will not be using Safelite again and would not recommend them to anyone.

What I thought was going to be an inconvenience to replace became an easy process. The knowledgeable receptionist, Lori, asked me several questions, then looked up the glass using my VIN # to ensure that the correct back window was ordered for my truck. The two young technicians who came to my home to install the window were on time, polite, neat, and efficient ( only took an hour and a half). They kindly explained all the necessary information to me to ensure that the window would set correctly. I was told by another glass shop that I needed to bring my truck to their shop and leave it for four hours. I was thrilled that I wasn't inconvenienced by traveling and waiting around for the same repair! From the phone call with Lori to the install, it only took 2 days.
