Wish the matcha lattes were much hotter, not sure why Capital One cafes never truly make them that hot. But definitely still enjoy the discounted drinks with the use of a Capital One credit card. There are two floors with more limited seating on the bottom but with a view of State Street.

When you need a pick me up and it's discounted or free! Please and thank you! I'm a fan of free WiFi and the different drink promos they run regularly...which can be anywhere from range from discounts with your capital one card, daily specials, free Monday drink promos etc! They have a decent selection of drinks which include coffee based, matcha based, teas, and lemonades. I've most recently tried their signature Honey Lavender Latte, but have had many different ones and they are all pretty decent! Especially on free drink days bring your patience as staff are efficient and trying to serve the droves of office dwellers, students, and general tourists. There is free WiFi and a nice amount of seating available depending on the time of day. I enjoy during nicer weather the windows open up like a foldable garage door letting in some fresh air to the space! Also love that you do NOT need to bank with Capital One to partake in all the cafe has to offer.

Great place to do work and even better if you have a Capital One card. I tried the Maple Cinnamon Latte which was a tad sweet, but still good. The Cookie was overpriced and a bit hard. Staff is very friendly and everything is clean

Was so excited to finally try a capital one cafe now that I have their credit cards. The 50% off drinks alone makes it totally worth it. I got the biggest size honey lavender latte for just $3 and it was actually really good!!! It was gone in 5 minutes haha. The space is super modern and clean. Lots of people were working or studying. Upstairs they got private study rooms, couches, desks, and charging ports too. If I lived in the city I'd definitely come here to work or hang out. Highly recommend checking it out! Will be back.

    Cold atmosphere at Capital One

Nothing special about this location, the atmosphere is kind of cold and stark looking. If you want to go upstairs there's a lot of stairs to climb or you can take their elevator in the back which I didn't see at first. Ordered a large caramel latte, that was half-off with the Capital One card, $3.37, but it's only 16 oz. Dunkin' Donuts large is 20 oz. and it looks like a large, for about the same price and it's NOT half price off! Was disappointed by this experience. Coffee was just ok, nothing special. Another thing I don't like is, when you pay with your card it automatically asks if you want to leave a tip, and displays a few amounts you can choose from. Why should I tip somebody who just hands me a cup of coffee and doesn't bring it over to my table. No thank you! This is a very corporate type coffee shop, all about efficiency and low on value and ambiance.

Awesome Concept! If you have a Capital One or Discover credit card everything is 50% off. I travel frequently and will be looking for Capital One Cafes in the future to satisfy my caffeine addiction and for lunch. The food and drink quality is at our better than their competitors. I came on Sunday January 4, 2026 around 10am.

Good coffee and good deal for the 50% off Avocado toast was good, with microgreens on it. Service was fairly fast

I will say, if I were to judge this cafe by the quality and price of the food alone, I'd rank it 4 - 4.5/5 stars, but the customer service was terrible. One of the reasons I opted for Capital One Cafe over a local shop was because I am a Capital One customer and customers get drinks half off. However, the cashier and baristas felt like they really didn't want to be there -- almost as if it was annoying that there were customers. I didn't mind the 5-10 minute wait, but I could tell that the workers were over it. As far as coffee goes, I had a hot caramel latte with whole milk. It was well sweetened (not too sweet, not too bitter) and just the right temperature. I also got a warmed chocolate croissant and it was ooey gooey goodness (heavy on the chocolate!) The space is fairly big with plenty of seating - tables for 2, stools at the window, and booth style seats on the first floor. It appeared as though there may have also been a 2nd floor, but I didn't venture up there

Love the Capital One stop for a quick ice coffee and pastry. The service was relatively quick and friendly. The bank / cafe is a nice place to grab a quick bite.

Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow, and they even got my order wrong. After waiting quite a while, I was finally told they never even put it in. On top of that, the place felt dirty--there were multiple workers around, but no one bothered to empty the overflowing trash. The only positive was getting half off coffee with my Capital One membership, but honestly, that alone doesn't make it worth coming back. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this location again.

Located on the corner of S. State St. & W. Monroe St. next to Champs Sports Store. As Capital One customers, we always make sure to visit their Café when we see one, especially because we get that 50% off perk if we pay with our capital one card. The café is spacious with plenty of seating and nicely organized. Today, we ordered a hot 'Chai Tea Latte' and a regular hot cup of coffee. The latte was a bit watery and not enough chai flavor for my taste, but the coffee was fresh. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a good experience at this location.

Cheese bugger, with drips of cheese all over it
    Abrahamsson E.

This cheeseburger is pure indulgence done right. Juicy, perfectly seared beef stacked with layers of rich, molten cheese that drip with every bite, topped by crispy, smoky bacon for the perfect crunch. The soft, toasted sesame bun holds it all together without stealing the spotlight. Every mouthful is bold, savory, and deeply satisfying a messy, glorious burger that clearly wasn't made to be modest. One bite in, and you already know you'll be thinking about the next one.

The cafe is really nice, quiet & clean. I ordered a iced honey latte & it was very good. I discovered "honey" coffee drinks a few yrs ago & now i try to taste them whenever i see them on the menu! As a Cap1 card holder you can get 50% off drinks. Regular price was about $8...it came out to about $4 with discount. I saw online that you can also get a free drink on Monday's, i forgot to confirm this however. For the most part the staff were friendly, there are greeters walking around the downstairs area whom greeted when you come in & out. However, I approach the table in front of the coffee stand and sat my drinks down. Without acknowledging me, first, asking if I needed assistance or anything a heavy set guy that was sitting at the table said "this table is for banking". I wasn't sure he was talking to me & when i looked up he repeated it, again...didnt ask if i needed help or anything. 1. There's no signage that says that table is only for banking, as there is a banking area with seating right behind it. Which you also wouldnt know was only banking services. 2. That's not a way to approach a customer. Regardless of if i was banking or not. No one else was sitting there beside him & someone i assumed to be his friend eating chips & using the charging stations. Didn't really appreciate this interaction & will probably avoid this location in the future. Date of visit was 5/13 approx 3p, I left around 4:30pm & he was still sitting in the same spot, servicing no one & also not offering greetings like the rest of the staff. I was vlogging so I'm sure i captured him in the background but unsure of a name.

Now to my surprise, someone took a shit on this ATM! I'll say it again, a human-being DEFECATED on their Automated Teller Machine! The pig who did this took a crap on the machine before the branch was opened. I arrived in the afternoon, hours (many hours!) after this happened, and it was still a disgusting mess! The manager told me what happened, and said a company 'cleaned up' most of it. He told me this as he was brushing it with Clorox wet wipes. When he was "done" I peered at the machine, and I saw that it still had feces mushed between the keys and slots. DEPLORABLE! DEPLORABLE! DEPLORABLE! What!?!? This is a safety issue; a public hazard! Nobody should have been allowed to use this machine until it was professionally cleansed! Thoroughly sanitized! This machine was NOT sanitized. Merely removing the shit and rubbing the surface with Clorox towels is completely inappropriate! It's unacceptable! This machine should have been shut down; blocked to public access, period! But I learned that you shouldn't be fooled into thinking that small businesses are always great and that they will always treat you great. And you are also not going to get all of the services you would get at a larger bank. But the service at Northside Federal Savings is not very good. There is one male teller that is exceptionally rude, doesn't even say a word, just motion to you and slides your receipt under the window. The bankers are ok but they don't tell you all of the information they should. For example, when I added a beneficiary to my account, Northside ran a Chex Systems report. Later that day when I went to another bank to open an account the banker there told me "I see you just opened an account at Northside Federal Savings" which I didn't. Also, Northside Federal charges you an ATM fee to use another bank's machine. Come one. You only have one location and you charge for out of network ATM usage? I'll continue to have this "extra money" savings account here because the location is very convenient. Within about 10 minutes I had opened my new checking account and was on my way out the door. As far as the free cash to open a new checking account that showed up in my checking account well within the timeframe she told me it should arrive in. I've never had an employee who was anything less than friendly and professional. One of the most surprising things to me is that even when the line inside is real long they manage to keep the line moving at a good pace while maintaining friendly service. If you're looking for a new bank I'd strongly recommend stopping in and chatting with these fine folks. By the time I called PNC I pretty much was giving up on the customer experience I was hoping for and just looking for the right products which so far no other bank was able to "pitch" to me. Every other bank I found to have uninformed employees that either didn't know answers to my questions or made up some pretty crazy answers. And my questions weren't that complicated. So I called PNC. The gentleman who answered the phone I later found out was the assistant manager. He was very honest. Explained to me that the Branch manager was also their business banker and he was with a client , could he call me back and he gave me a time frame. I said sure. Within that time frame the manager did follow through and I got a call back. I could tell over the phone he was extremely educated. And the customer experience I had given up on was sneaking in through the phone. He actually began by asking about me and my business. Something NO other bank did with me. They all went straight to the bullet points of what they needed for an account to be opened. In fact , most of the call was first to get to know me and then to get to know Hector Rodriguez (the manager ) to build my confidence in who I was trusting with my business. Of course I moved forward. I emailed him my documents and said I'd be there in half an hour. When I arrived I quickly saw he was continuing to go above and beyond my expectations. He already started setting up my profile before I arrived. My documents were sitting on his desk. He wasn't only expecting me he was prepared for me. He made a phone appointment with his merchant service partner Tom who is also a PNC employee so I wouldn't have to wait , knowing that was one of my important needs for my account. I'm telling you the entire process was seamless. And personal. He again continued to get to know me when I sat down. It wasn't a , okay now sign here , experience. He still worked on earning my trust and my business. I could go on. But then this review would be a novel. My point is. This branch. Hector and his team has that old school small town branch feel. And it's genuine. A note about Tom. I only worked with him through the phone with Hector but he too impressed me and I went forward with working with him as well. He also got to know me and my business which is what any new business owner wants , right ? Let's be honest here. When you start a business you're nervous overwhelmed and excited at the same time. It feels good to have someone hear about your ideas and hard work. Tom relayed his customer experience through the phone as if he was sitting in the office with us and I will continue to work with both of them. Before I left I got a nice welcome gift package, a handshake , a congratulations , and an invitation to meet other business owners in the area. I am coming back in two days to move my personal accounts over. Hector , Tom. THANK YOU. I appreciate you and do not take your hospitality and support for granted. See you soon .......
