What a great find! Had not been to La Cantera mall in a minute, and had never been I this store front. Very pleased! Comfortable, quiet, and clean. Helpful staff and great coffee. Even got a big discount on coffee by using my Capital One credit card. Cha-Ching! Stop in here and check it out- worth the trip!

I have been dying to go to one of the capital one cafe's ever since I got my capital one debit card many years ago. It is a bit far from me, but I decided to make the trip for a change in scenery while studying. As soon as I walked in, I knew that I was in a good spot for some studying and great coffee. Coffee shops are so expensive these days, so I was happy to use my debit card for 50% off handcrafted drinks. I started with the smores shakerato. It was very good but didn't taste at all like smores to me. It was sweet but not overly sweet. I also got the sparkling lemonade for my partner which was pretty good but nothing special. Now the Strawberry Cold Foam Matcha was the best drink by far. The matcha flavor was very present and balanced well with the strawberry cold foam. It also wasn't extremely sweet which I enjoyed. The staff was very friendly. I would say the wait for beverages just depends on how busy it is. My first round of drinks took about 8 minutes but the last round was ready by the time I sat back down. There's plenty of seating available. Initially we were in the common area which was very spacious and had appropriate sound levels. Good for studying and having a conversation. We ended up reserving a private space which was very nice. The reservation can be up to 2 hours long. Things took a turn for me when I visited the bathroom. The toilet paper wasn't very well replenished with just one roll hanging out on top of the railing. The soap dispenser also wasn't working and no paper towels were available. There was also a lot of water and toilet tissue on the floor. Overall it's a great place to study, chill while shopping at La Cantera, or could even be a chill date spot. Just watch out for the restrooms!

big fan of this location because of the space (very large and spacious). It was very busy but still found good seats. The season menu is great! I really enjoyed my coffee. They close pretty late and the location in the mall is just fab when you want a quick study break to do some retail therapy. It gets a 5/5 for me and I will be back!

Super friendly and with great coffee and drinks! We walked in and were immediately greeted by staff and invited to participate in a free tour. They showed us the rooms and spaces available for free seating and booking through the capital one app. Discover and capital one card holders get an extra savings on ordered drinks. The space is so comfortable and clean.

Love coming here when at the mall! Place is comfortable and friendly. Food is fresh and drinks are delicious. There is space for work or to just relax!

Basically got a great coffee for half off! The coffee was good. I got their signature lavender latte and it was not overly sweet .I did add an extra shot. It took a while for the drinks to come out. The yogurt parfait ahead of us looked really good. Plenty of space to work and they even have nooks to rent for studying or working!

It was a great study spot. Lots of natural lighting and cute open space. They had an event going on and gave us free pastries as well. They said they hold events often but I'm not sure when. The service was great and the coffee wasn't the best I had but pretty good. It was cheap with a capitol one card (half off).

So far best experience ever Starting their customer service is excellent Their handcrafted drinks such as a coffee and their food is subpar they offer on certain days a discount on drinks for cardholders Their accessible ATM makes things easier and they help if you have any issues They have free WIFI for cardholders and their restrooms are super clean

Shard of glass in my matcha drink

I went today to this location and ended up in the ER. I ordered an iced matcha latte and I was drinking it while shopping then felt something hard in my mouth so of course I go to take a look and it is a shard of GLASS. I then feel as if there is some in my throat so I rush to the ER, on my way I call the store number that is listed on Google and here on Yelp and it redirects me to the 1-800 number, when they answer they have me wait forever through an automated prompt and when I finally can get to a representative I have to explain how I was trying to call the location because I found glass in my drink then the representative goes on to tell me that I need to go in to the location and tell the manager... I don't see anywhere online how to get in contact with this location and I really did not want anyone else to get a glassy drink. We spent our night in the ER a good 5 hours and my throat and tongue are still hurting!

Walked into a huge coffee bar with so much space .... only to find it was the new Capitol One Cafe concept. A coffee shop in a bank or a bank in a coffee shop. The people were nice. The space is huge .. Plenty to work or talk. They have electric outlets as well. The coffee was okay .. like it a little stronger usually. There was a good variety of snacks and pastries.

Horribly slow. One barista. 20 min wait for americanos. Two small americanos and a rice krispy treat for $16.

I was so happy they offered it as I can't find it offered in the area and they don't have any Peet's Coffee Cafes in San Antonio.

First off, this place is so cute!! It's definitely a tiny shop, but all the cozy seating makes up…read morefor it. There are plenty of tables to work or study at, including some shaded seating outside. I originally ordered the Saltburn Matcha, but it was a little too sweet for my liking. I asked if they could remake it into just an agave matcha with oat milk, and they did without hesitation. Everyone was super sweet and accommodating about it. My boyfriend ordered the Butterbeer Shaken Espresso and it was sooo good! Overall, the service was a 10/10, even with my drink remake. I'd definitely come back here again to study or just hang out for a bit!

Reason why I'm giving this place a two star and not higher is because when we ordered our…read moresandwiches and I noticed the white part of the egg was a little runny and not fully cooked, I took it back to the front to request it be remade, the manager and cook ensured me it was. Despite me SHOWING them where the egg was NOT FULLY COOKED THROUGH. I cook eggs for myself everyday. And being pregnant the egg must fully be cooked through. They were telling me it's bc of the cheese melted on top. Which has nothing to do with the egg. You could see the clear distinction between the cheese and egg. I wish I had taken a photo to share. They would not take it back to be remade. So I just said forget it and we ate them anyway. Since I'm in my third trimester I figured I should be fine. However a great manager would have made sure they were remade. I use to work in the restaurant biz and the customer is always right. And I was showing them their error and they were working to convince me it was cooked all the way, again when you could clearly see it wasn't. Also my hubs strawberry lemonade was not even filled up all the way in the cup. I would expect if we are paying for something that doesn't have a refill, at least fill it up all the way. Oh and my BIGGEST disappointment is that there is NO BURRITO!! We actually came here for that specifically, only to find out that it has not been on the menu for over a year, yet that is the one review and promotion that pops up when you look at this establishment. So it's false advertising and should be taken down since they no longer make the burrito. Also if you're coming here to work, it's super small and cramped. I did see a ton of people sitting with laptops and having meetings. However I wouldn't come to this place to work, unless it's the only option in your area. Overall, next time I'm in town, we won't coming back here, primarily bc it's close to the Eilan hotel we stayed at and we definitely won't be staying there again. Already wrote my review about that place, and I don't recommend it.
