Seasonal menu and infused drink menu

Came the Friday after Thanksgiving, it's pretty easy to miss this place because there isn't visible signage but made it to the destination nonetheless. I think with the outside seating it makes for a great place if you're wanting to catch up with a friend and brings your kids or dogs. Me and my partner ordered off their seasonal menu, and I felt the flavors could have been a bit bolder. It wasn't far off just your average latte with a hint of a flavored latte. I saw others working if you want to sit down and enjoy coffee or an adult beverage I see the potential. I did drive out of my way to try it and took it to go so my experience wasn't as epic. They have a variety of drinks both teas and coffee with the option to infuse with CBD / THC if you prefer. Baristas provided good service.

Cutesy spot in alamo ranch helotes area. Animals, coffee, beers, and a NYC affordable deli truck. I got an everything bagel with lox. I got a lucky charm iced marshmallow latte and yeah its yummy.

This was our first time trying this place. We were in the area looking for a dog friendly spot, and since they serve both coffee and beer, it seemed like a good fit. I ordered the Christmas Cookie latte, and the bartender mentioned their drinks aren't very sweet, so I asked for it extra sweet. Even then, the drink still leaned more toward espresso with sprinkles rather than a sweet holiday flavor. If you enjoy a stronger espresso taste, you'd probably love it. My husband ordered a craft beer from Meanwhile Brewery. We always thought this spot brewed their own beer, but they actually serve beers from other breweries. Inside, the Christmas decorations made the space feel really cozy. Unfortunately, when it started raining, we asked if we could stay inside with our dogs while we finished our drinks, but we were told we had to sit outside. I was hoping they'd make an exception since there were only two other people inside and the floors were cement. We tried sitting under the partially covered patio, but the rain made it difficult, so we ended up finishing our drinks in the car. Overall, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for and felt more like we had gotten our drinks to go.

Lattes, great service and even farm fresh eggs! Refuge welcomes families with open arms, from the moment you park your car you see the love they give their family-owned business! They have picnic style tables, a jungle gym for families with young children to enjoy, and even have their chickens in close proximity for children to see. They have an array of coffee, tea and even other drinks for those non-coffee drinkers, snacks and pastries! A great indoor seating area and a couple times a month they have vendors out front. It was great to grab their sweet iced latte and pair it with other their farm fresh eggs from their chicken coop. The owners run the shop and are quite welcoming and take their time with every customer. The music is low and the ambiance feels so family-friendly! Will be back for their eggs and coffee!

I visited here today to gage if it would be a welcoming place for yarnies (crafters). Immediately after I parked, I was entranced by the atmosphere. I didn't have any beer but the coffee is quite pleasant. It reminds me of a taste I knew as a child for a coffee shop. I haven't met the owners yet but Julia was quite helpful. I'm going to try it out for Saturdays. Thank you for the experience!

I have been here a couple times and I really like the outdoor space and that they have food trucks. The coffee to me is okay but this place is close, clean, and offers a great amount of space inside and out. This is a family friendly space and I love that they consistently host events too. They also have beer on tap so I think this is a really creative business and space. I wish they had more sugar free syrups for my friend who needs it but the service is always good and the vibe is on point. My last visit is also had a potato and egg breakfast two which was good I just wish there was salsa (perhaps there was but I didn't see it nor was I offered).

Cute place, seems to have activities inside and outside, such as games and books available to use. Aside from having coffee and pastries they had a taco truck available too on the grounds. The tacos were very good and love that they had a keto option. I would say that the tacos were my favorite, and the guy we ordered from was great. I also ordered an apple cider chair tea, it was ok, and a cinnamon roll which was tough and dry. Signage to the place isn't great so you really need to watch for it so as not to miss the driveway.

Great spot to kick back and enjoy a coffee or cold brew. Always lively, always fun, kids can play on the playground while you chillax.

Lately I have been on a kick of going to different coffee shops. This coffee shop was having an event, so we decided to go. This place is really nice. It has inside and outside seating. The outside seating is dog friendly . They do have shade and a playground for kids. The unique thing about the coffee shop is that they also sell beer. The day I went, they were having a Christmas in July event, so they had a special Christmas menu. We all ordered a different drink. We all enjoyed them. Of course it was super hot so all our drinks were iced They do have a food truck parked outside. I think they just started parking there, but it's a Korean hotdogfood truck. Every team member we encounter was friendly. Parking is available on site

A quaint little bar and coffee shop. Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here. We passed by Refuge while we were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a couple of Iced Matcha Lattes. This small country house turned bar/coffee shop was super casual, complete with an huge outdoor seating area in the backyard. It was strange to see so many kids loudly running around inside the shop and a massive children's play-set in the backyard as this café doubles as a bar, but I guess I can see the appeal if you're a parent. I personally wasn't that big a fan of the atmosphere, but my fiancé was. To me seemed like they couldn't decide whether they wanted this to be a more family friendly establishment or be geared more towards the night life, but regardless it was pretty nice overall. The barista was extremely friendly and had our orders out pretty quickly. I ordered my Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk and Raspberry Syrup as these lattes were made with ceremonial grade matcha. The matcha was virtually impossible to taste however and was completely drowned out by the low quality and not really enjoyable Raspberry Syrup. It tasted like oat milk with sugary syrup instead of a matcha latte. The same could be said about the other Iced Matcha made with Whole Milk and Vanilla Syrup. It was the better of the two Lattes as far as matcha lattes go purely because it had the fortune of having a faint matcha aftertaste. It still tasted more like a vanilla milk with a dash of matcha, not a matcha latte. I can't say they were crafted all too well either; the vanilla milk was creamy from the whole milk itself, but neither were all that smooth and needed better blending. Even if the staff was great and earned five stars, the drinks only get two. I've said it before and I'll say it again: even if you don't specialize in it, if it's on your menu you need to know how to make it properly. Though I won't go out of my way to return, I wouldn't mind trying out their pastries, coffee, or other beverages if I'm back in their area. Three stars from me, four from my fiancé.

I was so excited to find a place nearby that offered coffee flights. Husband and the kids accompanied me on 6/28/24. There was also a food truck in the gravel-based parking lot. Could be tight parking if there were lots of patrons for one of their events. ((They have really cool events like karaoke night, Singo, comedy night, etc)) The barista was super friendly. I ordered the iced latte flight, barista choice. The vanilla lavender was so good and reminded me of my former local coffee shop love in Maryland. The cinnamon pecan was my second fav, followed by the vanilla orange (creamsicle vibes). I liked it SO much that I'm going back today (6/30) to go try more lattes lol. Husband ordered the Saint Michael's Mead. The flavor of the day was cucumber lime. It was surprisingly good (I'm not a beer-y or non-sweet drinker but I could get down with this!). The girls ordered chocolate muffin and a blueberry lemon pop tart. Both were yum. There are plenty of benches/seats outside, as well as a playground and nest swing for kids. The interior has a nice cozy feeling with lots of patrons having small group meetings, doing some work, reading or chilling.

Here is an update...we have been going to Refuge for about six months and we love going however the last few months have been so unwelcoming by other people there. We noticed that that they are Christian based a bit, which is fine but personally I believe it has brought a ton of judgmental people. Our last few trips have been an awful experience due to the community that is there. Refuge has always been a great fun spot, the actual service itself is great! The other families that go just aren't nice people. I know this is something Refuge CANT control, however I feel people should know how uncomfortable it can be at times.

Went back a second time and the employees are just so friendly you feel right at home. They definitely value customer service. Everything was clean, trash cans were empty, and it was the evening so they had some lights outside and a fire. I ordered the banana pudding donut and the seasonal chai latte called silent night. Both were delicious! I recommend a visit

I will say that I'm glad I looked at the menu before coming in because the menu that was displayed was extremely difficult to read. Not only was it far behind the counter, it was also extremely high up. The font was also really small. I thought there would be a menu on the counter by the cash register, but there wasn't, so again, I'm glad I looked at the menu beforehand. I think the girl that helped me was new, or was in training, so I'll give her some grace. She came up and asked me what I would like to order, and I looked a little confused so it would've been nice if she asked if I had any questions about the menu instead of just asking what I would like to order right off the bat. I was trying to decide between two drinks so I would've liked a recommendation. I did think it was a little odd they didn't have a pickup counter/area. Maybe because most people use the drive-thru?? I thought that was a nice touch. I didn't realize they had a drive-thru until I was ordering at the register. I chose a medium iced Blackout (hazelnut & mocha) and I think it's the perfect blend of nutty and espresso. I did notice it was a little warm at first sip, but after swirling it a little, all the flavors blended effortlessly and deliciously. PRO TIP: register online for a free iced medium drink good for one month!

My fiancé and I stopped into Qargo Coffee to escape the miserable weather outside and this experience definitely lifted our spirits. I absolutely LOVED the aesthetic; the chic urban lighting and multitude of plants created such an awesome place to chill out with a delicious pastry or get some work done with a cup of coffee. The barista who took our order was so cheerful and extremely helpful, and our order came out relatively quickly after we sat down. We ordered a couple of Winterberry Matcha Lattes (mine with Almond milk), a Spinach and Feta Danish, and a Pistachio Cheesecake. To start, the Matcha Lattes were both pretty yummy, though I was they were hotter. They were just warm, which was fine, but the heat did leave quicker than I could finish my latte leaving me with a room-temp latte towards the end. The Winterberry gave a nice subtle sweetness to the drink without drowning out the matcha flavor, so the flavors were able to blend nicely. The Spinach and Feta Danish was good but nothing special. There was far more pastry than filling, so if you want a heartier meal I'd probably recommend one of their sandwiches; those things looked massive! As for the Cheesecake, it was so delicious but SUPER sugary sweet! It was exceptionally creamy with a light nutty taste and sweet tanginess, but I'm happy my fiancé and I opted to split it because I would've gone into sugar overload eating it alone! I'd definitely like to return to Qargo to try one of those sandwiches or something else just as delicious looking from their menu. I think I'll ask for my next Matcha Latte extra hot so I can get it to a temperature closer to my liking. If you're in the area, give this café a try!
