Needed a place to chill while my wife was getting a pedicure and I appreciate that this cafe inside the Topanga mall had ample seating. Was very busy, so must be wildly popular. I got a 1/2 off green tea iced unsweetened as a cardholder and plopped on a comfy chair to kill some time. Service was nice and quick. Lots of options for drink and food. My one gripe continues to be the limited options for the cardholder discount.
Yay! My hubby and I came back to try their handcrafted drink and I ordered their Honey Lavender Latte, they gave me a choice of hot or cold...I chose cold and wow, it was delish!! This time the machines are all working and service was neutral. This time I was able to go further in the back of this establishment and wow, it is quite cozy there...must just be me, it's so nice and somewhat quiet...I noticed they even have a nook here where you can reserve. I believe you have to book it at 3 days in advance. I also saw like a small meeting room too.
Great space to work from as they have lots of seating available and outlets to plug in your laptop/devices. They even have a small conference room you can book for meetings. The cafe is fine. I ordered an iced matcha latte but I'm so used to getting them from local coffee shops (Laidrey, Ring, Re:, Yonder, etc) that this one was just fine. You do get a 50% discount if you pay with your Capital One card so that's nice. There are staff members that are available to help with certain transactions since they have an atm machine inside, too. Overall, I think it's a good workspace if you're looking to spend an hour or two getting stuff done with minimal interruptions. The two times I've been here it was quiet and any chatter was kept at a low volume.

If you're a Capital One member you get 50% off everything. The service is fast & the drinks I've had here are very good! It can be hard to find a spot but if you're able, its a great place to hunker down & study.
Canoga Park, CA Cafe is located on the first floor of the mall. I went this time to try their handcrafted beverages since it is 50% off for card holders. I agree with one fellow Yelper. The said beverage is eh. Nothing spectacular about it. I believe it was much better when they served Peet's coffee. And worth the price that you pay for a $4 beverage. Inside is nice and quiet. There were a few tables that were available during the visit. Employees are welcoming and helpful.
OK so I love capital one. My favorite bank. I think this cafe was a GREAT IDEA! Easily a better place to work, read, chill over Starbucks. I'm not sure how I feel about the coffee. Sometimes it tastes fresh and satisfying. Other times it's a little watered down or plain. I'm grateful that I'm a member though because I don't to spend a lot to have some. I love that this cafe is an option for coffee in the mall that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's good. And they have a pretty good menu. My lattes end up being like $3. PLUS you can reserve spots there to work in. I highly suggest coming here for work, meet up, read, etc. it's there most relaxing place in the mall
So, I feel like if you have a Capital One card, you just have to go here for no other reason than they offer 50% off their drinks if you pay with their card. Their drinks are okay and will do, you know? Not memorable or spectacular, but not bad. I enjoyed their sausage breakfast sandwich...it's on a brioche bread and they add arugula, which I love. There are tables designed for you to work, read or chill...but they go fast. People come here and they stay here. They also have a conference room you can reserve. Overall, business-yy, student-y vibes.
Absolutely love this place! Great coffee, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of comfortable spots to sit and focus. The 50% discount for Capital One and Discovery cardholders makes it unbeatable value. It has a calm, welcoming vibe that always makes me want to return. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town
Refer to pics! Drinks (coffee) and pastries are decent, the service is prompt and fast! Workers are willing to help you out with any questions. Ambiance of the place is GREAT! Lots of seats, rooms you can reserve if you want a more private area for meetings, great lobby. Definitely awesome place to chill - perfect spot to socialize, study, work, or having a meeting. Weekends can be extremely busy, so pick your days. P.S their capital one card doesn't cover some of the beverages (bummer)
I barely write one star reviews, but my experience at this cafe was something else. I was the only customer there for almost 10 minutes. An employee was supposedly making a drink. All the time I was there I was observing her. She was not pouring anything in the cup. She was just playing with the chocolate syrup at the bottom of the cup. She didn't even acknowledge me or told me will be right with you. There was another girl working there she kept saying I will be right with you and not sure what she was doing. I just saw her keep going back and forth touching the coffee machine. Hence, after hearing be right with you for the fourth time, I decided to leave. If they don't want my money, I will go spend it somewhere else. I am a capital one cardholder for almost 16 years and was excited to have a drink in this cafe, since there are not any nearby where I live. I had a fantastic experience lol For the ambiance, this cafe is clean and well organized. There is seating area in the back, I saw people seating and enjoying their drinks. There are also people there helping with banking needs like opening accounts, making payments and etc. Not sure, if I will go back to this location.
honestly love coming here! the staff is super friendly, and there are a good amount of tables and different seating styles to fit your needs! drinks are 50% off with a capital one card or discover card! they have a seasonal cherry matcha right now that i decided to try, it is super sweet, but good if that's what you're looking for! otherwise, i enjoy the honey lavender latte and caramel latte. sure, the coffee might not be the best, but i'm not a huge coffee person so i can't tell! if you're looking for exceptional coffee, maybe not the place for you. but if you want somewhere to catch up with friends or study/work with cheap drinks, this is the spot!

This particular location is on the smaller side, and being inside a mall means it can get quite noisy and busy, even during the workday. There are only a few private rooms, and unless you're among the first to arrive when they open, they'll likely be taken. That said, if you're not working, it's a great place to hang out, enjoy a coffee, and play games with friends. The staff was super friendly, and the Honey Lavender Latte with Oat Milk (hot or cold) is one of the best I've had--probably second only to Mothership. Plus, if you're a Capital One cardholder, you get 50% off, making it an even better value.
I love Capital One Cafe, I am a Capital card holder and I get 50% every time which is an amazing deal!! They also do free drinks on Mondays till 9/22 for MLB Mondays. I got the Strawberry Cold Foam Matcha with almond milk and it was divine! Jose and Andy were very kind and provided great customer service. I didn't get the cashiers name but he was also great. The ambience is so nice, it is inside the Westfield Topanga.

Came here for the first time because it's MLB Mondays and you can get a free drink! The people at the front were super helpful, and that was great as I had never been here and didn't know how the AR code stuff worked. My friend and I went in line and I got the caramel latte, iced. The cashier was not friendly at all. Didn't greet me or anything. Saw me and said "what'd you like" and I ordered. "Okay where's your code" like. You can be a bit friendlier? That's was turned off and I took a start off. Other than that, it was pretty busy. They have WiFi which is great. And as of now, the sign said they have a latte special on Thursdays! Located downstairs of the mall near Nordstrom. read more
passed by in the mall and got both an iced vanilla latte (reg sweet) and their honey lavender latte (less sweet). they were both delicious, although i would've preferred getting the iced vanilla latte also less sweet. i enjoy how both have a good balance between the flavoring and the espresso taste; it's not like some places where the syrups overpower all other taste. the drink lattes are very smooth and refreshing. the lavender itself in the honey lavender isn't too strong but honestly I liked it that way because i find that many lavender syrups taste too artificial. this was a perfect blend of flavors which i wish was offered more typically at all cafes. service was great and the drinks came out within 2 minutes (although not very busy at the time we came anyway) so many spots in the cafe which is great for working, but full when we arrived, so it may be a bit tough to find open seating. read more

A cool hangout place if you have work or homework to focus on. It's quiet inside, so it's not a place for meetups or hangouts with friends. Menu is simple, just snack food. Nothing gluten free. The coffee is delicious though, and if you don't want bottled water, they have a self serve water station. You can use the ATM machines here, or sign up for Capital One if you're not a cardholder yet. read more
These cafe's are so calming and relaxed with 50% off for cardholders. The environment is like being invited to someone's living room, with coffee tables and television, with some nice work stations as well. The workers are so kind and explained the process so well. Although the types of food and drink are a little limited, I really enjoy the atmosphere! read more
I love Capital One cafes! This one is inside the middle of the mall so this is a con coming here during Christmas time. The staff is super nice. The seats/tables are plentiful and comfortable. The price for drinks is 50% off as long as you pay with your Capitol one card. Plenty of days they have free little gifts like ornaments during Christmas. I would visit this location more often if it was outside the mall but still love it. read more
If you are: 1) In the Westfield Topanga Mall 2) Have a Capital One debit or credit card and 3) Are looking for a place to work, relax, and/or enjoy a small beverage or bite to eat, definitely give the Capital One Cafe a try. This place is a gem! First of all, all customers with a Capital One credit or debit card get 50% off on drinks. The discount does not work for food, but considering how expensive cafe drinks are nowadays, this is an absolute steal. Second, the drinks are actually delicious. Try the iced honey lavender latte or hot bowl of soul. Third, this is a great place to work. Plenty of tables, outlets, and even a conference room that can be used on a first-come-first-serve basis. Note that it does tend to get packed on weekends. Fourth, people are very friendly. There's always someone at the front ready to greet you and answer any questions. Fifth, bathrooms are clean and single-stall! Sixth, they even give free food sometimes. My bf and I got a complimentary sugar cookie after we ordered from their cafe. Yum! This is my go-to work place at the Topanga Mall. Highly recommend! read more

Went to Capitol cafe to use the bathroom and It was clean and had paper towels . Then I asked Winnie about the airport lounges and how I can access Them . She said I Need to get the venture x card . I said I'll think about it and she sent me a text for a free drink . Wow . Great service . read more

I love this place. The minute you walk in, there is always someone who will greet you. Small thing but really matters. I always take hot unsweetened matcha it always taste good. Cafe clean, love the Christmas music at this time and enjoy their comfortable sofas, chairs. The biggest plus (in my eyes) there is no smells that would irritate you. Some cafeterias has overwhelmed food smells, not this one. Overal i really enjoy stopping at this cofe place, poeple are polite, place is clean and you get 50% discount when you use your capital card...what can better then that in this economy :) They do have restrooms inside the cafeteria. Always clean. Give it a try! Come alone, with laptop to do some work or even grab a friend for a coffee/tea brake. P.s. havent tried the food, so cannot comment on it. read more

Peet"s Coffee services here. Mellow music playing, relaxed atmosphere, and a bank all in one. There are ATMs, representatives, and lounging sofas and chairs. It is located in front of Banana Republic and a couple of stores away from Nordstrom. Customer service is great. Everyone is smiling and attentive. I found this through my capitol one app and decided to stop in at topanga cafe . I was greeted by two persons when i walked in, i asked about restroom policy if i needed to show my CC to use facility and was met with no , everyone is welcome . Kyle also mentioned Cardholders get 50% off coffee beverages, they can help open new accounts and answer account questions . The shared restroom was very clean . The facility overall very tidy , i'd say busy, there were not a lot of open comfortable spaces to sit , so if you plan to come here for a long day, i'd say arrive before noon. I arrived about 1:00pm . both private rooms on a Tuesday were in use . I would suspect these are first come first served since they didn't seem to have any hard policies but before assuming that you should call . They pipe in music , it's not blaring at all and probably helps drown out the noise from the coffee/food area . What would help would be a piece of glass higher up between the food area and seating . The prices seemed fair . They keep mall hours and can use the facility as long as you wish. Overall , the vibe was chill. It didn't seem overly buzzing busy where you might have trouble concentrating . I don't recall anyone speaking out loud using the phone , personally i would find that kind of a narcissistic in this environment. This should be like a library environment , if you must chat use a private room or low tones. using your ear buds would make it totally bearable . Lots of electrical plugs all along the back area . I could see this busy on the weekends with teens coming here from Topanga social /mall to hang out for the free wi-fi. IMHO 18+ would keep the environment more of a working space vs a social space Mon-Friday . read more

The ambiance here is the best. The chairs are so comfy and relaxing and I feel so calm and mellow being here. It's a great spot to meet up with friends or just an escape from the office to get some work done. They now have verve coffee which is so delicious! I got a caramel latte with oat milk and loved the flavors. With my capital one card, I got it half off but now on Tuesdays, anyone can get a discount. The last time I came they gave me a free drink with a coupon that had been emailed me. Everyone I've interacted with here has been friendly. Also love their music choices! read more

I'm so happy Capital One cafe switched over to Verve Coffee from Peet's. I tried their drinks from Peet's and didn't love it. The matcha from Peet's was nasty. Tried a Verve honey lavender latte with oat milk and it was delicious! Definitely on the sweet side so next time I'd have them use less lavender syrup. Tasted identical to what I make at home which is why I probably loved it more! There are plenty and a variety of seating in this location. They have free wifi and outlets too. Stopped by on a Sunday around 2 pm and there were multiple seats open. Glad to have this cafe nearby to get some work done! On top of the 50% off drinks for Capital One card holders, they also have free pins! read more
