This is not my first time at this location. In a previous experience there was a very long wait to order and for the drinks to come out. This time around, I arrived around 10:40am on a Sunday morning. The parking lot was busy, but there were spots if you were willing to walk a little bit further. I placed my order online, and it was ready when I arrived. I did notice there were quite a bit of people waiting inside for their drinks around this time. I think being busy is just the norm. I ordered the Medium - Banana Cloud Latte (matcha), and my partner ordered the Medium - Keith Lee Latte. These two drinks came out to $15.10. We both enjoyed our drinks with no complaints. Overall, drink quality both times have been great. I would definitely recommend ordering online to avoid the wait to order, and then the drink is ready so you just have to grab and go. La La Land is a treat when we're in the area, and I say give it a try but don't forget to mobile order for a better experience :).
Gorgeous location! La La Land is one of my fav coffee shops. They are consistent and amazing everywhere I go. I love the aesthetic of their brand and their service is always awesome. This location is a standout because of how gorgeous it is. Definitely recommend grabbing a coffee here if you're in the area.
Honestly, I see the hype lol! I've always avoided this place because the place is always packed and like out the door. Most of the time I just want a quick coffee and don't want to wait 20 minutes for a drink. We finally went on a day where the line wasn't out the door but still very much busy inside and outside but seemed like people were getting their drinks pretty quickly. Kyara C took our order and commented on my Banana Cloud Latte order because it was her favorite. I loooove banana lattes and it has been my go to lately. They definitely did not disappoint!! I'd come back here all the time just for that drink if it wasn't so busy. The strawberry Einspanner did not have strawberry flavor whatsoever, that one was definitely a miss, better with maybe a strawberry cream top rather than a puree? The Einspanner is strong and really overpowered that. The strawberry fields matcha was also great. So many things on their menu that I still want to try from this bougie spot!! The inside decor makes you feel like you're in Beverly Hills lol. The cups are also very cute, they really nailed the packaging on this. Overall, great spot and would definitely come back. My experience at La La Land Café was very positive with delicious items, friendly staff, and beautiful decorations. However, seating was a bit limited inside, and some items are a bit pricey. First, I ordered the banana cloud latte, and it was very good. It wasn't very banana heavy. As someone who prefers more banana heavy drinks, I wish there was more banana. However, it had a nice taste, and the Matcha was smooth. I could see how others would really enjoy it! The staff taking our order was very nice and friendly. I did come to this location to study, but it isn't the best for that kind of activity. The seating inside is limited and it's a bit on the loud side. There is some seating outside, but I would prefer to study at the nearby library. Lastly, it is a bit expensive. I ordered a small, and it came much smaller than I expected for the price. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go there again. There are many more drinks to try and they often have collaborations with other brands (this week there was a Beverly Hills Hotel collaboration) , so there's usually some kind of limited time drink to try.

Plus I love their sayings like "just be nice" Today I decided to try their latte collaboration with Lululemon. It wasn't too sweet and hit all the flavor profiles. The staff were also very nice and friendly. They have some cute merch too like shirts, candles, hats, and mugs. Some seating inside but more seating outside. Nice place to hang. Lulu Latte: Masala chai cloud, vanilla bean, cinnamon. Choice of espresso or matcha
La La Land is always such a delight to come to! I visited another location and was so excited to hear that they were opening a location in Westlake Village! The people working are so happy and nice, which is always a great way to start off the day. Everyone there seems so positive, plus the surroundings only add to the sunshine! I got the Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte with strawberry cold foam and it was SO good! La La Land is reasonably priced compared to every other cafe in LA. Inside they had keychains, magnets, a cute variety of hats, and sweatshirts, too!
Cute spot, cups, vibes, and even straws (heart shaped!). Drinks are alright tho. - Banana Cloud Matcha: Banana flavor is quite mild, though not overly sweet. imo the matcha is a little too milky. - Peach Matcha (limited time collab w/ Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty back in 12/24): it was aight. matcha flavor could be stronger Service is great tho - very friendly and patient.
This is more of an influencer hotspot and photo op location than it is a coffee shop, LOL. Went on a weekend afternoon and it was PACKED, truly ... mostly with influencers and hipsters. Got the banana cloud latte iced with coconut milk and it was great. Love the cute cups you get that can be reused. Is it overpriced? Sure, but you're going for the vibes, not the coffee.

The matcha taste full body, robust earthy NOT in the gamey earthy kind of way! I ordered the lavender Matcha with oat milk extra lavender. I believe five pumps. I love it. I can taste the lavender as well. I would like if they would add rose to the menu with rose petals that would be a nice touch love this place. Definitely will be back a lot. Can totally understand why La La Land is so popular. Their matcha lattes are fantastic. The matcha taste is strong and the drink doesn't feel overly milky. My go-to is the matcha squared, they do their matcha cream top really well. Fast and efficient service. Parking was easy. read more

This was one of the better drinks I have had from La La Land. I have had tiramisu flavored drinks from other coffee establishments before and the flavor is always kind of off, but this drink was delicious and spot on! Everyone working there was very nice as well. read more

It's matcha heaven.... I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love my tea. Popped in with a girlfriend for something warm after lunch this afternoon. Let me say, I've been in the morning which does get busy but the afternoon crowds, it's a different vibe...lol... Location is prefect right in the heart of the commons and right infront of the pond where the turtles are. Prime spot to say. There's a good amount of seating outside and some inside. Once you walked in, it's very clean and crisp. Clean lines and very modern. There's a little sitting area which resembles somewhat of a waiting area or living room. Simple but very chic. The whole place is quite chic. Matcha seemed to the big thing when we walked in. They also have food, not a full menu but decent list. The pastries counter did have some amazing looking sweets but majority were gone. Price wise, standard to most coffee shops. A little more than Starbucks but you get what you pay. There were loads of takeout when we were waiting for our order. School crowd all came in at the same time. Service was quite nice. All the girls working were busy the whole time we were there. Popular trendy café with a beautiful aesthetic. The white and yellow color combination is iconic. This location has ample seating more so outside than inside. They offer a decent variety of coffee drinks as well as Matcha Be on the lookout for seasonal drinks. I tried the carrot cake latte that's available until the end of April and it was amazing how delicious it was even with the modifications that I made. I highly recommended. La La Land has always done me right and kept it consistent, and for that I am so thankful. Considering I have to drive allll the way to Calabasas to enjoy a good matcha drink, I am not ashamed to admit that I've ordered a couple at a time before. One for now, and one for later! I've had the iced coffee drinks, too, which are also good but not quite as adventurous as their matcha drinks. The interior is pretty and they sell their own merch. There's seating outside, as well. Plenty of dogs, kids, and singles coming in and out. There can be quite a line here, so make sure to give yourself time to wait, order, and wait some more. Parking can be difficult, but there's always spaces in the very back. La La Land is near Sugarfish and Marmalade Cafe in the Calabasas Commons. read more

I visit La La Land often because my book group meets nearby, and I adore the entire vibe. It's located in a charming plaza that features beautiful restaurants, a gorgeous pool, and a fountain with eclectic statues and live turtles--it makes for a truly unique coffee experience! While the line can be a little long, the service moves quickly, and you often get a friendly, "I love you!" after placing your order, which is a nice touch. They have a good selection of coffee, and the pastries are delicious and freshly made. Just a tip: if you want a pastry on the weekend, it's best to arrive early, as they can sometimes run out by late morning. (I wasn't a huge fan of the matcha options, but everything else is great!) read more

Love La La Land! Everything is so cute (even the napkins). The drinks are so tasty. I recommend doing half sweet as they are sugary. You would expect the pricing to be outrageous but it's honestly in line with most coffee shops. read more

I came to the commons to go to Barnes and noble but it wasn't open until 10am so I decided to get coffee. It was my first time so I asked for a recommendation. The very nice employee said I should get the Lala latte. She did warn me that it was on the sweeter side but woah was it sweet! It was good but a little too sweet for my liking. I opted for non fat milk which helped but I would try a different drink next time. I did love the yellow cups and heart stoppers for the coffee. For $7 I wasn't super impressed but I would go back and try a different drink. read more

Since I was already in the area, I decided to check out lala land to see what the hype was about and it did not disappoint. Upon entry, the atmosphere was bright and inviting. The interior was just as beautiful as the exterior. However it's not as spacious inside so you can't study or do work in there. But they have plenty of tables outside! I ordered their banana cloud latte and it was amazing. The drink was very well balanced and i did not taste any artificial flavors. I want to come back to try their matcha! read more

Staff: The team here was nice but nothing above and beyond. Quality/Quantity: The drinks here so so good. We got the Banana Cream Top Latte which is now my absolute FAVORITE drink ever. I love banana flavored anything so this one really was a grand slam. I opted to lose the matcha and add espresso instead. We also got the Mango Passionfruit Cooler which was also really good. Value: I found the pricing to be very fair. Overall: This is a a really bougie shopping center and spot. The inside has a couple of seats and there are plenty of other seats outside. They have a ton of merchandise too. I'll be back again when I visit unless I find one in OC then I'll be back much sooner. read more

La La Land had the cutest aesthetic overall. I can see people dressing up and taking pictures inside with their matcha. The pops of yellow really brings it all together. I also liked how there was no line and the drinks came pretty quickly! However, the drinks themselves were underwhelming. The Keith Lee Matcha was okay at best. It didn't give you a strong matcha flavor and it was really mild. The strawberry on top was sour and all the salt went on it. The banana cloud matcha was much better in taste. The banana and matcha together just weren't balanced. The banana flavor profile was overpowering the matcha a little too much. Still glad I got to visit one as it's been on my list but I don't think it's my cup of matcha. read more

I recently stopped by La La Land in Calabasas and honestly it was one of the best matcha experiences I've had in a while. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance immediately stood out. The space was minimalist, clean, and perfectly designed, but still felt warm and welcoming. The chandelier was a beautiful touch and gave the place an elevated feel. I also loved the books and library style setup, which made the atmosphere feel peaceful and intentional. It almost felt like stepping into a magazine, everything looked perfectly placed and aesthetically on point. The matcha was authentic and smooth, and you could taste the quality right away. I ordered a sweet matcha, which is how I prefer it, and every sip felt like heaven. What really stood out to me were the cups. The quality made the whole experience feel premium. The staff was young, fast, attentive, and very kind. Great experience with my daughter. Drink 9 out of 10. Service 9 out of 10. Ambiance 10 out of 10. 9 out of 10 would recommend. read more

Came here on a Thursday morning at 9:30am and it was busy! Thankfully, they got the line moving and we got to enjoy the patio with our drinks. I got a coconut strawberry fields in a small and hubby got a small americano with a splash of milk for $13. It was nice to enjoy the weather and chit chat. My ice drink felt like a sippy cup cause it was small and the drink spout mimic the bottle, not a bad thing just a funny design. read more

- You can tell that the matcha used is of quality. Their banana cream top is made from real bananas and had a decent banana flavor. The drink itself was not overly sweet, more of a mild sweetness which allowed the flavors of the matcha and cream top to shine through. I would give the overall drink an 8.5/10.
