iced cinnamon maple latte w/ cold foam
    Rachel Z.

we were met with great customer service upon arrival. the barista that took my order was very helpful and energetic. i ordered the seasonal iced cinnamon maple latte w/ cold foam which was delicious. the cinnamon pushes through but still allows for the coffee to remain prominent too. it was on the sweeter side but more my fault for forgetting to ask for less sweetener. otherwise it was good. lots of study space and quiet (went around 6p on a friday)

As a newly minted Capital One credit card holder, 50% off handcrafted beverages is a sweet deal for a drink break after some mall time! It is a Capital One bank branch and coffeeshop rolled into one, yet it feels more coffeehouse than bank. It is very spacious and modern inside. This can definitely be a nice place to study or get some work done. Even on a weekday it is packed inside, but it does not feel cramped for space with the seating layout. There are a couple nooks for smaller groups to book. The drink options are solid, with a nice little selection of snacks to complement. Service can be a tad slow if there's only one barista, as was the case when I went. I got a signature honey lavender latte, and at a half-off $3.50 price with no taste adjustments, it was definitely worth it! The lavender was subtle and light, but not overpowering. The drink itself was lightly sweet and not burnt tasting, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a great place to be productive or have a midday pick me up!

One of the biggest Capital One Cafe I have been to and I love decor and interior of it. There was ample seating and the cafe was packed with people and their laptops. They offer 50% on handcraft drinks if you pay with your capital one credit or debit card. There are also atm and customer service to assist with your banking needs. I got the chai tea for $3ish and it beats the chai tea that I would get from Starbucks and at a fraction of the price. I can't wait to come back and try their hot items and açaí bowl.

Came here to check out the cafe cuz I have a card with them and I have to say it's incredible and beautiful the place. It's so spacious and also the atmosphere was very nice. Many people were in there working and doing homework and it was very nice. We talked with a specialist about my card and he was kind enough to give my mom and I two drinks on the house. I loved my strawberry cold foam matcha and my mom liked her iced latte but said it was sweet enough to her liking but was ok with it. I plan to come back and get drinks here because if I use my credit card that's capital one all drinks are 50% off. Loved this cafe!

As a huge fan of coffee and cafes in general, I always love coming here! The staff here are so friendly and helpful and provide top notch service. I love their rotating specials menu and they always have a fun seasonal treat to try. I also love how they have a good selection of alternative milks for their drinks. While I miss the Peet's Coffee, Verve is just as amazing! This is the biggest Capital One cafes and despite it always being busy, I can always find a place to sit! I love how comfy the seating is and how bright and clean the cafe is! I ordered a caramel latte with oat milk and it was so rich, creamy and decadent. The espresso here is definitely high quality and they do a good job of balancing it in the lattes here! Parking was super easy in the mall's parking lot!

I love the Capital One Cafe, it's a great place to work from! You get deals if you are a capital one card holder which is awesome. Also right now every Monday till Sep 22 they have free drinks. I tried the Sparkling Pink Lemonade, it was very refreshing. Don't forget to tip the workers because it does get very busy. The service is quite fast for how busy they get. I love the ambience it's quite peaceful in there!

The signature latte is delicious iced. Seasonal gingersnap latte is also very good! I was pleasantly surprised to come on the day they are hosting a dodgers party, I'm shocked they even have the world services trophy!

This is a great place to grab a small bite to eat or enjoy some coffee at a discounted rate for Capitol One card holders. The only drawback are the selfish entitled young folk that hang out here with their laptops hogging up the tables. This is in not the library where you can spend hours and hours taking up space. The cafe should limit who can hang out here and for how long. We couldn't get a seat for two people and had to share a couch with no table.

this is a nice cafe from capital one with spaces to study and learn more about the cards. the service was quick, but the cashier did not seem very happy. there can be difficulty finding a place to sit as well. their seasonal cinnamon iced latte with cold foam was delicious and sweet. they also had connect four games available near the drink pick up station. cozy spot.

50% off any items purchased at this cafe as a Capital One card holder! If that isn't a good deal, then I don't know what is. I wanted a change of scenery, and decided to drop by Capital One Cafe. Even on a random weekday in the early afternoon, this place is PACKED. It took me a while to find a table with an outlet, but they do have a lot of tables which is helpful. The space gives off a study spot so you won't feel out of place working here because everyone else is. The cafe is modern, and the high ceiling and natural lighting here is splendid. The cafe was extremely open space that i didn't feel cramp being here. They also have couple of conference rooms, which I was surprised. This cafe definitely is amazing, and wish more spaces were like this (eyeing other bank to do the same). Their drink and food selection is pretty limited, yet for some reason they had hot apple cider. This is the first cafe I seen this on the menu so I had to get it. It was sooo good, and it's also 50% sooo steal! The location of Capital One is nice because once you are done studying, you can walk outside to the Americana and Glendale Galleria.

I had a wonderful experience at the Capital One Café today. Noah took my first order and was incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive -- his positive energy and great customer service really stood out. I went up for a second order and Sam helped me that time; he was also great, friendly, and just as welcoming. The coffee was really good, and the sandwiches tasted amazing. The ambience of the café was cozy, clean, and relaxing -- the kind of space you actually want to sit in for a while. I'm not from the area, but the team and the environment made the café feel so warm and inviting that I'd definitely come back. Thank you, Noah and Sam!

On a Saturday morning in January, I stopped by Capital one cafe to try half off drinks with my capital one credit card. It is very spacious inside for relaxing or studying. The ambiance was chill and cool vibe. The verve coffee inside the capital one cafe and ordered ice mocha drink. I didn't wait too long for my drink. It taste good for being half off. I forgot to mention they have free luggage tags.

Ask the Community - Capital One Café

    Do they have outlets?

Yep! Lots of space to sit and work also.

    Do they validate parking?

I dont think so. There is free parking though at the Galleria

Does this place have a printing kiosk?

    I dont think so.

Can you pay your capital one bills here?

    I'm pretty sure, yeah

Is there an atm outside to pay my bill?

Not outside but there are 2 doors you have to pass before entering cafe. Maybe first door is unlocked for atm usage.

Do they still offer happy hour?

Not to my knowledge. There used to be happy hour sign but no longer there.

Is it possible to deposit a check into my account here?

If you have an ATM card, yes, you can deposit your check here. This is not an fully operational bank - if you want to open an account, the most they can do is let you use their iPad to do it yourself.…

This was also my very first time at this location, and I must say it was quite a treat! The coffee shop is conveniently located right across from the Americana, so you can easily street park or park at the mall and walk over. It was busy when I arrived on a Friday afternoon, but there were still tables available both inside had outside. The chairs are not the comfiest, but the shop is still very clean and well maintained! When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly employees who were busy preparing orders. This gave me the opportunity to peruse their unique menu and settle upon a latte to order. My sweet tooth was in effect and I opted for the Tiramisu latte with oat milk and was asked if sweet was ok! I thought it was so cool how you're able to customize the drink as you please and bonus points for no charge for nondairy milk. It was very affordable at $6.85. My latte came out pretty quickly and I marveled at the cocoa powdered topping. It truly tasted like a dessert and was so rich and indulgent yet somehow I didn't feel gross after drinking it. The oat milk was creamy and perfectly frothed and the espresso was well balanced. I had a dance class that night and it gave me just the right amount of energy to make it through the class yet still manage to sleep fine that night! I will definitely return next time I'm in the area as a few other menu items sounded equally enticing and the customer service was so impeccable!

The young lady who helped was nice and explained how pick up works. Appreciate the helpfulness. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. There are several tables inside and I notice couple of tables outside. Store was very clean and well maintained. They also had sample cookies by the register for customers to try which was a nice gesture . This coffee shop is located in walking distance from Americana which makes it a great spot to grab coffee after shopping. There is street parking available and Americana/ Glendale Galleria are another option for parking. I will be back to try different coffees , since the menu looks different than other coffee places.

One thing I appreciated immediately was the parking. There is plenty of street parking, a parking structure directly across the street, and additional parking nearby, so getting there was surprisingly easy. As soon as we walked in, the owner, who was sitting near the entrance, warmly welcomed us. We initially started walking toward the cozy booth section in the back, but were told that area is reserved for dinner service and wasn't open... We weren't the only ones confused, as another guest came in shortly after and tried to sit there as well. That left us deciding between a few café tables downstairs, outdoor seating, or the upstairs loft. We first tried upstairs, but there were only a couple of two-top tables available. One was occupied by guests working on laptops, and the seating felt a little close together. The remaining tables were reserved for larger parties, so we ended up heading back downstairs. One of the available booths faced the restroom, which isn't my favorite, but I simply sat on the opposite side and it worked out just fine. Once we got settled, everything improved. Our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. I ordered the French baguette turkey sandwich, while we also tried the spicy chicken sandwich, which both the server and the owner highly recommended. The owner even mentioned it's what he personally eats almost every day, and I can see why, it was delicious. We also ordered fries to share along with two hot lattes: a chai tea latte and a mocha. Both coffee drinks were excellent and easily some of the highlights of our meal. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a coffee date. Before dessert, the owner recommended the mini pancakes and the waffles, with ice cream. They both looked great, but I've had similar desserts at several other cafés recently, so I wanted to try something different. I ordered the brownie with ice cream instead, and I'm so glad I did. It was rich, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One thing the owner emphasized was that they use fresh ingredients without preservatives and focus on quality. After our meal, I believe it. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with care. Our total for two people, including tip, came to about $120. It's a little on the pricier side for a café, but you're also paying for the ambiance, quality ingredients, attentive service, and the overall experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable visit. My only suggestion would be to make the seating situation a little clearer for first-time guests, since several of us naturally gravitated toward the closed dining section. Other than that, the welcoming hospitality, quality food, excellent coffee, and relaxing atmosphere made this a place I'd happily return to.

So many people define themselves as experts. Sadly, many of those same people will walk in and say things like, "Gosh, I'm tired, could you make me a double espresso?", clearly assuming that stronger taste automatically means more caffeine. My wife and I simply like a good coffee in the morning. Which leads to the obvious question: what do we define as "good coffee"? For us, it helps us get into the day, tastes pleasant, and does not leave a bitter note. We are absolutely not coffee experts and can discuss coffee, at best, at what we Germans would call "Thekenniveau" -- bar-counter level. I do understand, however, that it may make a difference whether beans were roasted weeks or even months ago somewhere remote, then shipped and stored, or whether they were roasted locally and recently. So we asked ChatGPT, and one of the recommendations was REGENT Coffee in our neighborhood. We went. Our directive was very clear: we explained that we knew little to nothing about coffee, which was precisely why we had come in and were looking for advice. The lady helping us started with: "Well, it all comes down to the settings of your coffee machine when you pour your espresso." I responded that we are not really espresso drinkers -- we drink Americano. She gave us "the look" and explained that an Americano is espresso with more water. The information: fair enough. The way it was communicated: not ideal if your goal is to win me as a customer. From there, the conversation did not really lead anywhere. We were asked questions such as whether we preferred nutty or fruity coffee. That may be a perfectly reasonable question for someone who already knows what those terms mean in practical taste terms. But we had just told her that we did not. That was the entire reason we were there. We were not looking to prove our coffee knowledge. We were looking for someone who had the expertise to guide us. In the end, we bought an Americano. It was served so hot that my wife burned her mouth in the car, and it took almost the entire 45-minute drive to Santa Monica before it had reached what we considered a comfortable drinking temperature. It cost $5. And we did not even particularly like it. Would I go again? No. Would I recommend REGENT based on this experience? No. What makes this particularly disappointing is that this was a tremendous lost opportunity to turn us into long-term customers. We like expert advice. We drive to Farmers Markets to buy fresh produce knowing full well that we may pay 200% more for something that is perhaps only 15% better. But we can taste the difference, and that makes it worthwhile to us. Coffee could have been exactly the same. If I specialized in coffee, I would make it incredibly easy for people like us to enter that world. I would offer tastings. I would explain, in simple language, what "nutty", "fruity", "chocolatey", "bright", "smooth" or "low acidity" actually mean in the cup. I might offer a short class on how to set up a home coffee machine properly. Maybe even machine-specific sessions. Maybe in the shop. Maybe at the customer's home. Because there are customers walking through the door saying, quite literally: "We know very little. We want advice. We are willing to spend money." And even better from a business perspective: Not just money once. Continuous money. Imagine if the conversation had instead started with: "I totally understand where you are coming from. Coffee can become unnecessarily complicated very quickly. Since you mostly drink Americano and want something smooth rather than bitter, let me give you two small tastes so you can understand the difference. Then I'll recommend one bean to start with." We would almost certainly have bought a bag. Possibly two. And if we had liked them, we might have bought beans there for years. Instead, they sold us one tiny cup for $5 over the counter, while the payment screen suggested an 18-25% tip. And two potentially very loyal customers walked out frustrated. That, to me, is the real business lesson here. It is not about whether REGENT makes good or bad coffee. Taste is subjective. It is about recognizing the customer who is standing right in front of you. Especially when that customer is effectively saying: "Please teach me how to spend more money with you." And then making sure you do not send them home without doing exactly that. Small caffeine footnote: espresso is more concentrated in caffeine per ounce, but a normal serving of drip coffee usually contains more total caffeine than a single espresso because the serving is much larger. Stronger taste does not automatically mean more caffeine.

I ended up with a house coffee and a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The coffee is ok although I think their specialty coffee drinks are a little better. Can't go wrong with a bagel and cream cheese. I notice they now have a sign where you can only work on a laptop for an hour (I've worked on a laptop there in the past and stayed for2 but I don't think it was a rule back then). With that said, this is a nice place to grab a light bite and read or chat with a friend while there.
