    Grilled chicken sandwich

Located right off Hollywood, Tiago didn't look like much from the outside (you could only see the sparse outdoor seating), but the interior was nice with high ceilings and plenty of color and energetic music. Order at the counter and take a number. Staff were nice and attentive, though I did come around 2pm on a weekday and there were only two other groups there at the same time I was. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a lemonade. Both were great. The sandwich had a great ciabatta bread and flavorful fillings. Lemonade was alright, if a little on the smaller size. I would come here again to hang out or grab a bite. I would try their combo option next time (only spotted it on their menu too late, after I had already ordered).

Great coffee, friendly staff, and spacious café with warm and inclusive vibes. I wish the matcha was better but I'm happy to have this near my office.

The service was great! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is my first time trying this place and I literally ordered everything from recommendations from the cashier. Breakfast burrito- the flavor is there, the beans were a little off texture wise. It's almost like they went soft enough. Vanilla iced latte with oat milk. Very very tasty!! Overall great choice for a work spot. They do have music playing, but it wasn't too loud or distracting.

Came here for a production meeting and had an amazing time! The vibe was fun, upbeat and vibrant and a little eclectic! I loved the bright colors, decor and signage! The service was also extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the mocha latte with oat milk and it was perfectly balanced and the espresso was fresh and flavorful. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. We were able to score a large table and the seats were so comfy. The cafe was also well maintained and very clean. A huge bonus is that they have a punch card that allows you to get a free drink on your tenth purchase. They validate parking in their garage, but I was able to easily find street parking nearby.

We stayed at the Lowe's Hollywood Hotel and discovered Tiago's Café just a short walk away--what a gem! We ended up coming here for breakfast two days in a row because it was that good. The food was fresh and flavorful, the coffee was absolutely delicious, and the service was super fast. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're in the Hollywood area and looking for a cozy spot with great food, amazing coffee, and warm service, Tiago's is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back next time we're in town! Hope you can come and enjoy

I have always absolutely loved Tiago. I used to live down the street. I returned after not having gone for several months. New staff, although still friendly. They no longer carry the banana bread mini loaf that I used to be addicted to which is fine... I think they go with a different baker now. But what used to really be the shining star of Tiago was the fresh food. After a three day juice cleanse the first thing that I craved was the decadent burrito bowl at Tiago. I rushed there this morning to order it, along with a side of broccolini à la carte. A while ago, the burrito bowl would've been a genuine 10 out of 10. Unbelievably fresh and delicious flavors that you just couldn't forget once you tried them. Today's burrito bowl was a 6.5 out of 10. Overall, the theme of the food was that it didn't seem fresh. The chicken was a bit overcooked and The cilantro didn't seem fresh or flavorful. The broccolini was a miss for me. It was old, floppy, yet dry and burnt at the top. No flavor, so I asked for aïoli and they told me that that would cost extra. I probably will come back to see if the Healthy Ho and Breakfast Sandwich are still as good as I remember them. I really hope so.

My partners and a friend came here for brunch before a movie at the IMAX theater nearby. We got there around 11 on a Saturday and were able to just beat the rush. Our friend had specifically requested a place with pancakes and good coffee and this was the only spot in walking distance that fit the bill. We were able to snag a table outside and all of our food came out quickly. I got the Healthy Hoe and it was so good! There was a sizable chicken breast, and the pistachio hummus and the black lentils added some more protein - exactly what I wanted!

    Amy L.

Ambiance is nice and relaxing. Service is nice and there's plenty of seating. Menu is pretty simple and easy to read. I opted for the breakie burrito ($13) and the healthy hoe ($16)... because balance. I also got an almond mocha ($7) for my bf to try. Food looks great and it tastes great as well! The breakie burrito is pretty good, with the tortilla layer being thin and lots of ingredients in there. I wouldn't say it's the best I have ever had nor would I say it's super special but it was decent and good. The healthy hoe was super good. I liked it but of course since it's healthy, it lacked my oh so loved carbs. I took it home and put a little bit of my leftover pasta in there (from the night before) and it was absolute perfection. The flavors of the chicken was all there and since there was a bit of excess oils/sauce, the pasta really complimented it. Overall, pretty decent place. Gets a bit busy and the to go order took about 15 mins.

    Kaori T.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Healthy Hoe. It was even better than the unique description, full of protein and healthy. I also admittedly had a delicious almond croissant and a iced honey latte and it was enjoyable. Not the cleanest place, and finding parking (like all of hollywood) without pay is basically impossible. They do validate for the structure but it's another latte worth... They were very patient as we kept changing our order but we got through it and they helped guide us.

Service was impeccable. The host and servers were attentive to us to see if everything was okay. Food was delicious and all that came out from the kitchen. It seemed intimidating when I saw chili crisp in a lot of dishes on the menu. However, that wasn't the case when we received the dishes. Each dish had other ingredients that married well with the chili crisp, allowing it to have a small hint of it there without overpowering the dish.

Great sampler plate - the pickled onions and jalapeños added that kick to the mousse. I have no idea how they make the crumpets, but I could have eaten 5 of those. The tomatoes on top of the mousse were delightful. 2. POTATO CREPE: Our server said this was one of their most popular dishes and it did not disappoint. It honors the original Banh Xeo while offering a fun "brunch" twist with the crispy potato shell. Admittedly a little oily and messy, but I can get down. 3. HOUSE MAPLE SAUSAGE: We knew we needed a little bit more in our order but didn't want to commit to a full dish, so that's where the sausage came into play. Definitely should try this with the crumpet and pickled veggies. 4. OOEY GOOEY CINNABON: The cinnabon was unfortunately a bust - it honestly just reminded me of cinnabon, but with no unique twist or flair that I could note. I would skip this and maybe try the pb&j sourdough pancakes instead. SERVICE (5/5): Service was good! AMBIENCE (5/5): Fun brunch spot with options for outdoor seating. The interior is nicely decorated and feels very open. PARKING (3/5): Street parking - managed to snag something on a Sunday. TAKEAWAYS: I've had two experiences at Girl & the Goat so far - one for dinner and one for brunch - and I think I preferred the brunch experience by far. Enough so that I'm considering revisiting their dinner menu to see if they've changed or I've changed... who knows?

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

I loved all of the colors in the rice, which include the fried pork belly, the golden egg yolks, and the pigments of the atchara (atchara: pickled vegetables such as papaya, scallions, and carrots). Some stand outs from the appetizers: the biscuits, served warm, so soft and buttery with the perfect spreads. The albacore spread. Their salads are actually great (this is coming from me, usually a salad hater.) The potato appetizers. Now from the entrees: I was pretty shocked by the eggs benedict popover and the bacon steak. Namely because these are generally pretty straightforward brunch dishes, but they were just so much better here than other places I've had them. I don't know what the secret is for the benedict popover - is it something they put in the benedict sauce? The way the ingredients come together? Whatever it is, it's perfect. For the bacon steak - it cut like butter, and wasn't too salty, sweet, or chewy / thick. So good!
