This is an absolutely delightful coffee house. It is well-lit, super clean, and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. The view facing outward is quite interesting. You literally face the remains of a departed motel (complete with abandoned rusted car with a construction cone on top, like a birthday candle) and it literally looks like something out of a post-nuclear war, apocalyptic Mad Max film. You have to see it to believe it. I wish I had taken a photo. But don't let the insane view stop you from coming here. The drinks were delicious and the food is absolutely top tier. Our avocado toast took some time to prepare but it was worth it. It looked like a work of art, with smashed avocado, herbs, feta cheese, micro greens, radish shavings, and other goodies on top. It was very good. The other food we observed here also looked insanely good. They have beautiful bagel sandwiches with the reddest tomatoes I have ever seen, beautiful breakfast burritos, and other gorgeous open-faced sandwiches. Frankly, I would come here for the food alone. There was plenty of street parking on a Sunday morning. This is Sunset Boulevard, and I am sure it gets busier on weekdays, but you should be able to grab parking somewhere. There is ample metered parking and at 10am on a Saturday, I was lucky enough to find a spot right up front. This location is a bit more modern, less cozy than the West Hollywood location. This location seems to be more business-like, perfect for meetings or working outside of the office as well as grabbing a casual breakfast or brunch. There is a more secluded space in the back patio if you don't want to be exposed in the front patio or can't find a spot in the indoors dining area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It took awhile to get my order but they were working hard and being as efficient as possible. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was very good with fluffy eggs, bacon, crispy tater tots, cheese and beans. It was good but the tortilla was baked crispy so it was a bit dry. Strawberry Matcha was a hit. I have been craving a strawberry matcha for weeks and I am so glad the drink took care of that craving. The matcha was smooth, not diluted too much with milk and the strawberries matched it perfectly. This quiant cafe sits on the east side of West Hollywood. It features 2 stores, 2 gift shops and a bar. There a few spots to hang out and enjoy the beverage and/or snacks of your choice and maybe work on your laptop. The crowd is very vibrant and very WeHo, dogs are welcomed and we saw so many. We stopped by at 9am on a Sunday and it was very empty but in just 20 minutes it picked up a lot of customers. Went to Javista Hollywood earlier this morning and got a very nice welcome from an employee name Sarah. She was polite, helpful and friendly. Ambiance was good and clean. I got me an egg, bacon & cheese sandwich on a baguette and ate it so fast that I forgot to take a picture. Food was good and so was my Iced Mocha drink. It wasn't too sweet nor was it bitter. Good balance. Will definitely return next time I am in the area. I have been wanting to try this place; now, I can say that I did, and had a good first time experience. Took a stroll down to Hollywood early morning and found street parking nearby. Upon entering, you are greeted kindly by the young lady at the register. (I didn't get her name) she also gave me a Yelp swag goodie bag! Super cute it had hand sanitizer, seeds to plant and a napkin. I appreciate all Yelp swag! She marked me off the list and said I could pick any drink of my choice. I saw the trending strawberry matcha so I was curious about it. However, I saw their newest matcha flavor (pineapple sunshine matcha latte) and since I embrace being unique, I went for it. I also ordered breakfast and I went with the avocado toast. The drink: it was very delicious! Not too sweet and topped with dry coconut flakes. Subtle flavors of the pineapple and creamy foam, also I asked for oatmilk. 5/5 overall! The avocado toast: well, I wasn't expecting two generous slices of toast! Wow and they were beautifully crafted. I couldn't wait to devour them. Plenty of avocado and creative toppings. Fresh feta cheese and micro greens added...5/5 pricey but worth it when getting two slices for the price. I actually couldn't finish the second slice I left 1/4th of it. But it's a 5/5 for me!! Give them a try, I read that they also serve alcohol; such as local beers and wines. That's a plus! Had I known I would have pre-gamed early morning. 700am, Wednesday, May 20, 2026 I arrived just after they opened. On Sunset, no curbside parking from 7-9 am! Parked on McCadden, street parking on west side only, beware of street parking signs posted. Javista is a nice place. There were tables outside front, inside, and also back patio! They also had a display cases for food and bottled drinks. I came in behind another customer and waited until Perry was ready to take my order. He was super friendly, thank you for the amazing service. Next to the pickup counter there was a jar of doggie treats. Is it dog friendly, possibly, I didn't see any customers with their fur babies this morning. Drip coffee was the pre-noon price of $4.75. It was very good, didn't disappoint from the reviews I read. I also ordered a sugar free caramel latte, decaf, organic whole milk, EZ ice $8.50. This was saved for lunch and it tasted great with a subtle caramel and tasty espresso flavor. Stopped by Javista on Memorial Day to take advantage of the traffic less streets. I ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk and it was good. There was no bitter taste and the vanilla flavor was subtle. I also ordered a croissant and blueberry muffin. Both were good. The interior is bright and the chairs seemed comfortable. I noted a patio sign posted near the back door so I ventured back and it was a really cute spot. There are cushioned seats and plenty of tables to enjoy your drink whilst getting fresh air. Went here with a couple of friends after a morning run. Place was pretty quiet and not busy when we came. I ordered the avocado toast and I've got to say, this was probably by far the best avocado toast I've had in my life. Every ingredient on the toast complimented each other. You can taste the freshness out of the grape tomatoes and the chili oil adds that extra kick you need for a great avocado toast. OK so I did go back sans dogs, to check out breakfast. I don't do bagels and do not know how anyone can eat them honestly, but they offer a breakfast burrito. Obviously had to get that. Burritos are just the best food ever I can't explain it. You know when you order it you shouldn't finish it because it's always like 2000 calories but you can't help it :') It's just a fun monstrosity to conquer, even if it isn't all that spectacular flavor-wise. Which this was not, but it was big and fun to eat. Like I said other all-day breakfast options include bagels, avocado toast (what simpleton made this a "thing"), other avocado items, a chia parfait (which I don't eat solely because they get stuck in your teeth), and some yucky protein bowl that sounds like my mom would make me eat "for health reasons" (consisting of hard-boiled eggs, hummus, and cucumbers). The salads look pretty basic for lunch as far as other menu options go but honestly the only other stuff I'd try is the sugar. Just saying what everyone's thinking. You can get sandwiches made as salads though which is nice. Might try that and be on my way to the next new cafe after I've conquered this very standard menu. The only non-meat/cheese/veg basic combo seems to be the one with French brie and fig jam though. Ambience same as last time with graffiti decor outside. I've loved Javista through 3 locations. It's USP is it's organic. Today I tried something new- the strawberry matcha and it's one of the best drinks I've had! Ever. They make the strawberry syrup in house and the creamy top layer (it's divine) and add in the delicious organic matcha and it's truly a heavenly thirst quencher. Pro tip- take a pix for insta then stir well to drink - or sip the strawberry through the matcha layer to create the perfect taste explosion. The coffee is great too and they have a forever cup deal with Huskee- where you can buy a thermal cup and exchange it for a new one, when it's old; and recycle. Talking food... Their Lox Bagel is to die for. I have it on cheese and jalapeño bagel and I never tire of ordering it.. it's one of the best lunch options in LA The pastries are great too. My husband has the macchiato, which was a classic macchiato and he enjoyed it very much. To eat, we each had bagels. My husband had the lox bagel and I had the garden bagel. They were both absolutely delicious, with super fresh ingredients. The store itself was nice, with indoor and outdoor seating. If you plan to stay you can get your food and drinks served in real dish ware, or you can get it in to go containers. My only issue is that it took a long time for us to get both our drinks and our food, despite the store not being very busy when we got there. I'm so glad I listened to a friend and came to Javista Hollywood Coffee for a business meeting. This was my third time here, and every visit has been fantastic. The coffee is excellent, and the food is always amazing. Today, I ordered the burrata salad but was accidentally given a burrata sandwich. Let me start by saying I ordered a Sunrise bagel and an iced lavender latte, and here's what I learned: looks like aesthetics are the star of the show here, while flavor and portions are relegated to supporting roles. For $15, I was expecting a bagel fit for royalty--maybe two strips of bacon, a generous spread of cream cheese, and toppings that actually *top* things off. Instead, I got a bagel with what I can only describe as a bacon strip that got lost halfway through its journey. We're talking half a strip, crumbled into oblivion, scattered like confetti at a party that no one showed up to. The cream cheese? A delicate whisper, barely there, as if the bagel itself was too proud to accept a full spread. I was almost impressed by how they managed to create a cream cheese layer so thin, it could've been mistaken for an optical illusion. To round out this "experience," they added a slice of tomato and some arugula, generously coated in olive oil, however at this point there was no recovering from my dissatisfaction. And the iced lavender latte? First sip had me flashbacking to my childhood when my parents used lavender-scented bar soap to teach me a lesson about curse words. That floral assault on my taste buds had me questioning all my life choices, but eventually, the coffee kicked in and helped me forget the trauma.
