Finally experienced the Capital One cafe on a Tuesday afternoon in Soho, NYC. And I so much appreciate how this place is part bank and part cafe; that's a nice mixture of corporate yet relaxing vibes that's open to the public. Got me an espresso and pink strawberry cupcake that was quite tasty and satisfying. Enjoyed their spacious seating area and noticed there were encouraging marketing posters on what benefits you could possibly get from the capital one banking system with obviously no pressure. The staff were exceptional; they were thoughtful on how they greeted each and every one of us as we entered the cafe. I'm in so love with the dessert menu and look forward to explore more again in the future. read more

My first time coming to the cafe when you walk in your greeted at the door right way. If you walk straight ahead you can do your banking. If your turn left you walk into the cafe. Friendly staff the line moves quickly. I ordered a medium Matcha latte skim milk 3 liquid sugar and whip cream. If you use your Capital one card it's 50% off beverages There's alot of seating and stations to charge your phone you just need to have your charger. My beverage was good but I only gave four stars because there're only 2 barista's preparing food and drinks and it took awhile and forgot to add whip cream which I noticed after I paided for. read more

Ordered a pour-over coffee and a strawberry smoothie. The coffee was decent--good enough to consider returning for it. The smoothie was a different story. It took about 15 minutes, and during that time at least six staff members cycled around the task without actually completing it. Three were focused on cleaning and wiping windows, while others reassured me someone would make the smoothie. No one took ownership. It wasn't started until I asked a third time. When it was finally made, there was no acknowledgment of the delay or apology--just handed off as if nothing happened. The lack of coordination is obvious. There's no clear leadership or accountability; everyone appears to be reacting instead of managing. Being located inside a bank sets a lower expectation for a café experience, but the operational breakdown stands out, especially given the Soho location. read more

I love this concept. Very cold air conditioning on a hot day, ample seating, and plenty of places to work and charge your devices. The coffee was good. Our party had a couple sandwiches. They weren't bad! My son ate the entire turkey sandwich, so if you can please him, you can please anyone! Although you get a discount if you are a Capital One cardholder, it is still not super cheap. But for the nice retreat on a hot summer day, I easily give it five stars. read more

This is one of my favorite capital one locations. They always know how to make my Matcha correctly. Plus, they sometimes have additional knickknacks and goodies that are quite useful. I recently picked up a card case here at the Soho location. I've been to other locations as well, but this one takes the cake. There is a spacious bathroom in the back. Great decent-size space that's shared between the Capital One Bank & Cafe. Ambiance wise is like your cozy living room/dining room area with comfy couches + chairs + tables. Can get quite busy on the weekends and during rush hours in the morning on weekdays. It can be hard to find a place to sit down sometimes. So, you might've to wait around. Bathroom is towards the back and there're four individual stalls. There's a code that you'll need to ask from the staff. Additionally, a self-serve counter on the side has water + napkins + plastic utensils. Lots of outlets are found at the cafe, so many people would take the advantage to work remotely on their laptop. This space in the Soho neighborhood is smaller than other Manhattan locations. Friendly staff and fast service though. They sell different pastries like croissants, ones with jam in the middle and sandwiches as well. I like their drinks on the menu especially the flavored lattes. If you prefer a drink to be unsweetened or not that sweet, be sure to specify and request to the staff upon ordering and paying. read more

Drinks are hit or miss. Sometimes they are too milky, sometimes they are just right. Bathroom lines are always really long (only 3 in the back). I usually get the matcha lattes, but the honey lavender latte is also good. There are also seasonal drinks that rotate every few months. Near impossible to find any seating on the weekends when everyone else is also in Soho. On days there are free drinks (such as MLB Monday codes), the lines can get pretty long during morning, lunch, and afternoon rush. The staff that work here are very friendly though! read more

So glad the SOHO location is finally open (first week of May). We most likely will frequent this location since there are so many popup events nearby and Chinatown is within walking distance. Great place to stop by and unwind. This location is a bit smaller than other locations; however, there are 3 restrooms!!! Right now there are lots of available tables but we'll see how bad it gets once people know about it. Grand opening is upcoming on June 6. read more

Undoubtedly after people discover this location it will be busy as the others since its in the heart of heavy shopping/foot traffic area. Spacious and lots of seating. Ideal for grabbing a quick bite or coffee or staying a to get some work done. Many charing ports for your devices. If you're a Capital One member you can reserve one of the private rooms - good for meetings /zoom calls etc. Staff is friendly and welcoming and no one pressures you into opening accounts. read more

One of my favorite places to work on my laptop, I come here often. Hand crafted drinks are 50% off if you pay with your Capital One card. Seats are comfortable, and there is water or sparkling water available on the counter. I believe that you do not have to be a capital one customer or buy anything to hang out here, or at least they are not actively checking. No pressure to buy anything. A well lit cafe with banking services! I came to get one of those seasonal beverages, a matcha latte with cardamom and ginger. The matcha latte was lightly sweet with hints of cardamom and ginger which was perfect for the dreary rainy weather. Although it can get crowded I love the nooks and indoor seating where I as a solo sipper can watch the city go by. The service is really good and I was able to ask about the banking services. However, I'd say that this spot can get crowded and loud on the weekends afternoons. Usually when I visit around opening time- it's pretty empty and quiet though! Finally a location in the Soho area. There aren't enough large seating spaces like this besides Starbucks so this is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. There's a decent amount of seating as well as some private rooms I think but those are only available to Capital One members. I got a strawberry foam Matcha latte with oat milk and just a heads up, the foam is made with dairy milk so that was kind of a bummer to find out after I started drinking it. But the drink itself was pretty good! The foam added just the right amount of sweetness to the whole drink. read more

I stopped by today just to check out since I work from home sometimes. Vanessa greeted us and was super friendly and given that I'm a card member she even showed me how I could book a book on the app if needed. She told me that if I were to use my capital one card to purchase anything at the cafe, I would get 50% off. The space is very clean, the coffee was delicious, and they have plenty of tables and outlets everywhere for ppl that come with electronic devices. I love that you can actually just spend a lot of time in here with aqueducts adequate sunshine from the big windows, clean interior and bathroom for your convenience. I visited here for my first time and my experience was not great. I ordered a coffee and tapped my card. The male cashier rolled his eyes super hard and said "It's free on Mondays". It was bold of him to assume that I knew. It was clear that he did not like his job and was taking it out on customers. The coffee itself was below Starbucks taste (which is not saying much) and I would not visit again. The cafe is packed with tourists and people who work remotely. read more

I'm a college student who stumbled upon this location and thought it seemed nice. I did my homework here and waited for my boyfriend. When he came we were hugging and around four employees came over to tell us to stay awake and alert as if we were doing something wrong or sleeping.
