Like other high-end travel cards, the CSR gives complementary membership to Priority Pass (PP). Unfortunately, there just aren't that many great PP options domestically for the airports that my wife and I travel to (through). The best use of the membership has been getting free snacks/drinks from a Gameway at our home airport (LAX)..and occasionally a free chair massage when traveling through ATL. Well, with this initial visit to this lounge (first one to any Sapphire Lounge), I've now gone to a really good domestic lounge, not affiliated with AMEX or Delta. It was impressive, especially since it didn't cost extra. Chase has partnered with Airport Dimensions (owners of 'The Club' branded set of airport lounges across the U.S.) to open the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network (only nine lounges so far). Airport Dimensions is owned by the Collinson Group, which also owns Priority Pass (the biggest airport lounge system in the world). This lounge is located in Terminal 4 at JFK, on the upper mezzanine, right next door to the AMEX Centurion Lounge (which my wife and I had visited on our last trip to NYC in 2023). There was one attendant manning the desk, and he let us in after scanning our membership QR code and boarding passes. We were able to find seats, and realized that it wasn't too crowded. We got there just as breakfast was ending (10:45...not too much of a selection yet). There was a breakfast buffet, and the bar was open. Got their specialty cocktail (a Sapphire Spritz made with vodka)....realized later that almost everyone else was ordering their drink through the Sapphire website (accessible by scanning a table specific QR code), getting it hand delivered right to their table. Delivery to table is a great feature of this lounge, differentiating it from competitors like Centurion and Sky Club. Once lunch opened up, more menu items became available, including a Sapphire Burger with Fries, with a decent ability to customize. My wife and I ended up separately ordering a burger and fries, and I got their two local beers on tap: TALEA Beer Co. Watermelon Splash Sour Ale and a Coney Island Brewing Co. Mermaid Pilsner. Everything got delivered per order in decent time, and the waiter was pleasant about it. The beers were great, and the burger was good quality...would have perfectly satisfied with the dish at a burger restaurant. The fries were decent, too. There is a self-service soda machine on the premise. I did try checking out the washrooms, and saw that there just isn't that many stalls for a lounge this size. After finishing our beers, we left the lounge in plenty of time to mosey to our departing gate. By the time we left, there was a line that had formed outside the lounge to get in...so they must use a strict queue to maintain the amount of people at the lounge to be under the maximum seating. That being said, I recognize that much of the experience depended on the lounge not being packed, so we got lucky (coming on a Thursday just before lunch started and leaving a bit after noon). I've read that Chase will be changing admission rules. Today, any PP member can enter the lounge once a year. Starting August 15, only members with an eligible card (like the CSR) will be able to enter. Can't wait when they open the new Sapphire Lounge (scheduled for late this year) at LAX! Might make me reconsider maintaining my Delta Reserve AMEX card.

I had to wait five minutes in line to enter the waitlist which itself took another 45 minutes. people were sitting outside the lounge waiting for their turn which didn't feel very premium. inside the lounge was very crowded and the attendant had difficulty finding me a spot, but I was able to spot an empty seat for myself. the food was really good, but that was about it for the lackluster "premium" experience. dont go to this lounge in the afternoons because it's too crowded and it's a hassle to come all the way to terminal 4 just for this lounge since you have to go through security again. there is no pathway or air train that connects the terminals on the secured side. there was a bar where I've seen great reviews on but I only had 10 minutes because I needed to leave to re clear security at the other terminal my flight departed from. Part of the reason for the lackluster experience is that this is a lounge ran by Ethiad that contracts for chase sapphire reserve. Ethiad customers have no waitlist. And if you are normal priority pass you have no chance making it in on the afternoons. Expect to get turned away aa I saw some people were. The lounge was pretty and aesthetically pleasing though.

The fries that came with it were the chunky kind and more wedge-like, not very crispy, though I was hungry and polished off about half of them with ketchup. Of course I had to get a dark chocolate pistachio cookie to go too! To correct some misinformation from recent reviews want to mention that this lounge has limited hours for Priority Pass from 5:00am-13:30pm, however full hours are until 23:30pm for balance travelers. Most of my stops here are usually in the afternoon/early evening on weekdays, I haven't seen it very packed, with exception of maybe once or twice. Also haven't tried their breakfast menu so can't comment on that. Will say that after coming here a few years starting to notice some wear on the furniture, perhaps some could use a bit of re-upholstery. Chase and Delta lounges have newer furniture though I'd prefer not to wait in line for entry.

We found some power outlets readily available to keep everything charged up. The staff keeps the food area cleaned up and well stocked. They had 2 beers on tap and a self serve bar as well. There was a fella who was talking very loudly on his phone, everyone in the Lounge could hear him. The staff had a quiet word with him and he quieted down, I appreciated that. The restrooms in the lounge were spotless. It's nie to use this Lounge to get away from all the noise and craziness in the regular terminal.

We opt in for the private room with the TV and comfortable couches. A good variety of hot and cold food that gets replenish frequently. I like to hydrate before the long 9 hours flight and was glad to find water with lemons/herbs and fresh fruits. Plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, sodas and beer. They also have a self service mini bar with liquors, wine and champagne. I had a glass of the Altos 2024 Chardonnay from Argentina and it was surprising good for lounge wine. You can also hear announcements for flight boarding and departures. I also like the dim lighting in the lounge. It had a relaxing and welcoming vibe.

Just showed my boarding pass (you are allowed 3 hours before your flight) and priority pass card and was good to go. While the lounge may not be as fancy as some of the other lounges it does have enough to feed and entertain you while waiting for a flight. All food was in buffet style. Beer, wine, coffee and soft drinks were complimentary. Vegetables, meatballs with red pepper pesto and creamy lemon chicken over basmati rice were the entree choices. Appetizers and snacks included breads, beef and vegetable soup, hummus, cheese cubes, chickpea salad, potato salad and macaroni salad. Dessert included some bite sized cheesecake pieces and other small cakes. For beer I was excited to see that they had some new Sam Adam varieties among the selections. Wine was canned Bridge Lane wines. Free wi-fi and charging stations were available too. Service was excellent as staff constantly replaced food items when needed and kept the lounge tidy. One member even made sure I had a fresh beer waiting for me as soon as I finished one. Will definitely visit here again on my next trip.

But I was able to enter HelloSky and there were enough seats/ tables available. While selection is not expansive, they did have hot food on the buffet and I enjoyed my lunch there. Hey parents, why not start by not picking the carrots and celery with your dirty freakin' hands when the fork/tongs are right there. This is " First Class". 3) This is a privilege and a beautiful earned perk by us who either pay top $$$$ or are George Clooney esque Million( multiple) mile club members ( movie " Up in the Air", 2009 w Vera Farmiga & Anna Kendrick ) and frequent flyers. What we always, always receive and get are- a) beautiful smiles and welcomes from the check in desk staff who are so proactive. They make an effort to pronounce your name properly. Rare! b) access to great, hot showers in big suites with a dental and shaving kit. ( all free). c) contact with some amazing folks who selflessly and tirelessly clean up and keep the buffets full every few minutes. d) a secret menu including sushi ( oops no longer a secret) , not just the bar menu with hot pretzels and paninis. Healthy choices - salads, fresh veggies, hummus, olives. e) immaculate restrooms with top notch soaps and hand creams. f) choice of really comfortable sofas in a very large area where one can nap and relax. g) a kids room with a lot to occupy and interest them. h) a kids menu i) dozens of outlets and sockets( all working ) to plug in the I phone which is at 37 percent power. j) a stadium like seating room with a biiiiig screen tv and seats with cup holders. k) fresh finger food - tea sandwiches, assorted cheese and grapes coming out every 15-20 minutes. l) love and kindness from great employees like Satti ( 5/8/25) and Abigail ( 4/15/25) who exude warmth and service. Amazing folks. m) dedicated personnel who jump to rebook and reroute you in the event of a long flight delay or cancellation. n) peace and quiet that sets the tone before that 14 hour hop to Tokyo or the sept heures to Paris. I love America(n) Airlines and the lounge and the staff here make that bond even stronger and for life.
