I feel terrible that I have not reviewed this place sooner. Their bread is absolutely heavenly. I haven't had a sandwich like this in decades. I have only been there three times but each time we've purchased multiple subs to try and have never been disappointed. It is not an easy location to get to if you are not already in the area, but it is worth the hassle of going a little further off the highway, making a U-turn and fighting for your life to get into this parking lot. Came here on a lunch break to try a sandwich. This place had great pictures online so I felt like it would be a good place to try. I ordered my sandwich online for pick-up so it was ready by the time I arrived. Not a particularly large spot as its just a grab and go sandwich shop. I ordered the "Nomz All Day" sub. The sandwich had prosciutto, roast turkey, fresh mozzarella, onions, arugula, dried tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. For $13, I thought my sub would be full of flavor and well-seasoned, however, my sandwich was dry and was not as dense in meat as the pictures online showed. I also ordered the banana bread pudding for $7. The banana bread pudding was just a large chuck of dense banana bread covered with chocolate chips, no pudding. I could not move my spoon through the banana bread as it was so dense. Overall, I would try different sandwich options if I came here again, however, the banana bread pudding was a real disappointment that I would not recommend trying. read more

Let me start by saying I'm a sandwich snob. Nobody's sandwiches are as good as mine. I take the time to make sure I have evenly spread condiments on all of the bread and am equally careful about the placement of the meat, cheese, and other fillings. Potbelly is alright and Jerseys Mikes is also pretty good, but Capo is the place to be. Don't walk, run to Capo Deli and get their Italian, Chicken Farm or Italian beef sandwich. Capo deli did not exceed my expectations. Based on the website, and photos I saw online I was anticipating a dense flavorful sandwich full of high quality meat, seasoned and flavored well. Although the length of the sub was fair for the price, the quantity that made up the sandwich was underwhelming. In addition the banana bread pudding was mid. It was too dense, and didn't have the consistency of a bread pudding I was looking for. That soft and creamy consistency I was looking for was not there. It tasted like it was in the refrigerator for a week. The service was good, picked up online, and had no issues. But was expecting more from this place based on their marketing presence online. read more

Since Capo has opened we have been here more in the short time this has been opened than all the times we had been to the other place. the Philly Roll is amazing. So fresh, and nice crisp outside. My daughter loves the salami sandwich, She asks me if she could have "The Deli" The California cheese steak is out of this world. As is the roast beef sandwich. One of the best cheese stakes I have had and the roast beef, its like a symphony in your mouth. Yes the sandwiches have a lot of lettuce, but I love it. Especially sandwiches with the Italian dressing, there is enough dressing to lightly coat the lettuce to kick up the flavor of the sandwich a notch. The staff is super friendly and helpful and especially Sarah and Nancy. When you walk in here, there is one sign that will tell you that you will get great food. Everyone is smiling, saying hi to you, talking to each other and work great together. Its a nice tight nit team here that make you feel welcome and want you to come back. The the size and shape of the deli, it has a nice ambiance, they have a bar area with good amount of seating and during lunch this place is placed. First time in the deli. Staff had a little trouble in getting order correct......on a Sunday when it was very slow. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and it had very little chicken on it. Mgr. asked me what was wrong with the sandwich. I pointed the slight chicken amount to him. He said that was the standard amount but he had the staff add more without question. They addressed my complaint very well. Not the loaded looking instagram pics portrayed. My wife's order was a cheese sandwich with extra American cheese and we paid for the extra. It came with only one slice. They added more when we pointed it out. Below is the pic of the half of my large cheesesteak that I ordered to go. They did not add chicken to this half of my sub. I went here this past weekend for the first time. It has been on my list to try. I had the capo special (cold sub) and my dad had the summer special- prosciutto caprese. You order at the counter then go sit and the food is brought to you. They do have limited seating along the window, but you can sit at the bar and eat. They also have a cooler with desserts & pasta salads available. The sandwiches did not take long to come out. The portion size was very reasonable for the price. The capo special was so good! I especially loved the italian dressing that comes on it. The owners were there when we went & they were so friendly & accommodating. Stopped in for lunch and was not expecting much since I've tried a bunch of Italian sub places in the area and already have my favorites but this place pleasantly surprised me. I got the Milano large which was honestly two servings for me which worked out great. I wanted the bread to be a little softer than crunchier but overall it was really yummy. While eating there the owner and employees kept giving out free sample for me to try which was an amazing experience. I tried two different pickles, and limited time offer sub, a cinnamon roll, and a pepper relish and cherry peppers. Obviously I know this isn't an everyday experience but it is very obvious that the owners and employees care about their customers. They truly have a "let me take care of you" vibe that I think is hard to come by nowadays. Wish I took pictures but I was too busy eating lol read more

Great deli sandwiches overall! I have a few favorites that I love to select from depending on what I'm in the mood for. Portion sizes are great but they dont leave you feeling full. I've also called in for catering a few times. My first order could have been a disaster. An hour before our lunch meeting. I called the store in a panic as was initially set to have someone on my team to pick up a big order. One of the owners got on the phone with me and said he would get it sorted out. I think I finally found the best meatball sub in the Washington region. Mamma Mia, every bite is perfection. Those meatballs taste like nonna just made them. The large size is huge so come hungry or order a small. The space is kind of quirky because around the corner from where you order is a very sleek bar with a full liquor selection.
