Don't come on Monday. It's very Rogue compared to the weekend.i came back because someone from Capo was concern about me of my experience on a Monday we were asked to leave because they were closing before Dodger game. Ended up going to Turnbull. Which ended up being good. You should look at my Turnbull tavern review. And the pictures. I digress. If you look at my pics today. These 2 guys stood in the front of us and a couple others since that's the only place we could sit due to the chairs being locked up. I had to go tell the guys to go sit down. Because the bartender didn't have the balls to do it. Even after I said something. The bartender just looked and then walked away. They stood there for almost an hour.with only 35 people maybe. They finally got the message when people started coming up for drinks. Behind them. But the bartender needs to know that the center area is for buying drinks. Not standing and talking. We understand when people line up for drinks. But just stand there like statues talking like idiots or AA holes. Parking: This place is located inside Rodeo 72, and parking is shared among the nearby businesses; it can fill up quickly. As I mentioned in my other review, someone of us ended up parking in the Whittier Marketplace nearby. There are also a few EV chargers at the Rodeo 72 parking lot. Environment: Located inside Rodeo 72, Capo Public House is an open bar area in the area that's right next to the outdoor seating area. They had lots of bar seating with several menus scattered on the countertop. Place your order with one of the staff members whenever you're ready. You can grab a nearby table to watch TV or sit outside and listen to the live music. What was ordered: - CDMX (comes with a cool ice cube) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Capo Public House was such a vibe! The indoor/outdoor setup is perfect because it feels open, relaxed, and fun without feeling cramped. We went with family and had a really good time. The drinks were definitely the highlight for me. The Mission Margarita was fire, and the La Burro was awesome too. You can tell they put thought into their cocktails, and they did not disappoint. The service was also great - everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food was yummy too - we had the chicken wings and fried pickles, and both were great picks to snack on while enjoying the drinks. This is definitely the kind of place that can easily become a go-to spot to watch sports, listen to live entertainment, or just hang out with family and friends (a family friendly environment is definitely a plus). CAPO Public House is exactly the fresh new spot Whittier needed! The vibe is perfect for everything- date nights, hanging out with friends, family Sundays, or social gatherings. The open indoor/outdoor layout is super inviting, and the outdoor area gives kids room to run around too. The bar is a standout. They've got great beer, wine, and classic cocktails, but what really impressed me is how knowledgeable the bartenders are. They clearly know their craft and offer some really high-end spirits as well. Since CAPO is located in a food hall, there are tons of great food options and cuisines to choose from, which makes it easy for everyone to find something they like. We were really excited to try this place, but unfortunately the experience fell short. We sat in the bar area and ended up waiting...and waiting...and waiting. After several minutes, none of the three bartenders acknowledged us or even looked in our direction. It was definitely busy, but we noticed multiple bartenders assisting the same guests, at one point, two approached the same woman and others were helping the same group, while we remained completely overlooked. I didnt get the chance to try all the food it has to offer but the pizza shop there was super good! The bar area with giant projection tv and music is the perfect vibe you're looking for as the weather warms up and hanging outside with friends, families, and kids is of upmost importance! First time here. Located inside rodeo. Great vibes. 5-6 beers on tap and a few cocktails. This is somewhat of a new age western bar. The servers outfits are pretty cool. Love the outside vibe feeling. Music is always playing that gives a chill atmosphere. I loved their LADY IN PINK which is VODKA, STRAWBERRY PUREE, LEMON, EGG WHITE. Pros: Douglas is a great bartender (only reason I gave 3 stars)! Remembers your drinks and makes great conversations. Knows how to read the room. House margarita was nothing to write home about (plus on the expensive side;$17) but they were made consistently with the same taste. I can appreciate that. Cons: no happy hour, flies everywhere (open concept; sat at the bar), bartenders can be standoffish. The manger made an expresso martini and he grabbed the shaker with fingers inside it and used his fingers to grab the expresso beans (opposed to bartenders appropriately using designated tongs). I'll come back but won't be my first choice. read more

Literally the worst bar with the worst service. Unless you are friends with the bartenders you will be paying extra. First time at rodeo 72 and I saw this pretty cool bar and wanted to grab a drink with my dinner. Sat down didn't even get acknowledged. Had to move over and then someone noticed us. Looked at the menu and decided on a drink that was non alcoholic but was advised that they can add a shot to it which I said sure to. The drink was $9 but the added shot was $11.99 because my drink came out to $20.99... I paid for it because it was probably my fault for not asking how much an added shot was. The whole time we sat there which was about 45 mins I only saw the 4 bartenders interact with two girls at the end of the bar who I assume are regulars or maybe girls that work there. I saw a customer walk up at 8:17 asking for a beer only for the bartender to tell him that that they were closing and they served him a beer in a plastic cup while one bar back was cleaning the entire bar. I then saw her look over to the regulars and tell them 5 mins as she proceeded to pour them a beer and they got charged $20 for two special Jameson shots. Everyone that I saw try to interact or order with any of the female bartenders weren't greeted. I wasn't asked how my drink was or how I was doing or even if I wanted another drink which is wild. But I guess this bar makes enough money. So $20.99 later for a well shot with a cucumber mix, I think I'm good. Won't be coming back read more
