Cozy little bar inside the new Whittier BLVD MRKT. The service is very friendly and the selection of beer and wine is quite large considering how compact this place is. They have indoor seating but you can take your beverage outside in their patio area. There's also plenty of food options close by in case you get hungry. All in all, I would come back to try some more of their craft brews! read more

Located inside the BLVD MRKT. They usually have fun holiday decor and always plenty great beer selections. Staff is always attentive and helpful and allow a couple beer tastings to help you decide. There's plenty of outdoor seating with some heaters available, kid and pet friendly. Plenty of 2hr timed side lot or street parking. read more

My SO and I sampled the Mexican Lollipop Honest Abe 7% cider and another beer with raspberry in it. I should have taken a picture because I can't find the name on any of their menus online. It seems some of their beers get rotated. I didn't like the spicy aftertaste to the watermelon habañero beer, so I opted for the other one, which had a very crisp taste. The employee working the bar let is sample both, and we ate/drank indoors. read more

We stumbled upon this place when we were in Montebello for an event. Our friend noticed another co-worker who happened to be here in the patio as well. They had this LARGE boot shaped mug of beer. Of course, my friend wanted to get one as well, so we went inside and ordered it. To be able to get the Boot of beer, you have to leave a boot. LOL Funny thing is that my friend was actually wearing BOOTS! LOL So after he paid for his drink, the bartender told him to move to the side, so he did. Then the bartender released a rope to lower a basket full of shoes! HAHAHA My friend had to leave one boot in the basket and then when he was done, he would return the boot mug, and he would get his boot back. Hilarious gig! We shared the beer and enjoyed the night drinking and eating out in the patio while listening to a band play. Totally love this atmosphere to enjoy the night with friends. read more

It pains me to do this but I am only giving them 2 stars even though I had previously given them 5. My friends and I LOVE the hibiscus and the fidelio margarita. Except the last few times I have gone the margaritas are very different and not good at all. I did notice that it's been a different bartender, maybe that's the issue? I hope they can fix this. Located in the BLVD Market. Space. There's street parking available. I had one drink here, the paloma. It was so refreshing and I love the crispness of it. The bartenders were great and welcoming. In the food hall there is indoor seating and outdoor seating. They do have heated lamps which is nice. Overall, I'd come back here again. read more

After having come bomb chilaquiles next door, we want to keep the vibe going so we had gone inside to look at the menu. My friend had gotten the HIBISCUS FIDELIO MARGARITA, she loved it, she drank it from a straw and said on the herbal than sweeter then she tried it with the tajin and chamoy, went from a 10 to a 100. The All Star drink was the SPICY CUCUMBER FIDELIO, that drink on its own is so good, can definitely taste the pepino and the jalapeño but it's a perfect balance, no flavor over rides each other. Only thing is I asked for no tajin just chamoy, but he flipped it. But it's ok was still good. read more

They have a wonderful beer and cocktail selection that is ever changing. They let you sample the beers and reccommend things that will go along with your food choices. They do not serve food, but the food options around them are excellent as well. The cocktails are fun and different and aren't your typical boring cocktails. I indulged in their slushiees that can be made as a normal cocktail on the rocks if you prefer. It changes seasonally. It's a peffect summer treat. They do have live music/DJ on the weekends which adds to fun atmosphere. The best pat about the bar is the friendly staff. They are always cordial and know about their beer and cocktail selections and can speak on them unlike most places. read more

I got the Mexican Lollipop because I love Mexican candy . I got it with the rim and while it was tasty, I didn't know the rim was extra and it was pretty expensive for the amount of alcohol there was. Service was great. The staff members were really nice and took the time to go through the different beers they had. There are some tables inside but a lot more outside because it's located inside the Blvd Market, which I really like. There's street parking around the market. read more

Nice little bar inside the BLVD MKRT. My brother and I got some beers and then sat outside to enjoy the extremely hot weather, so we decided to stay in after that. Seating inside is limited, so if you are out of luck outside it is. They have a good selection of beers and also make some cocktails. Good drink to pair up with the food vendors here. read more

Pretty cool place, it's pretty much the only place that serves alcohol here unless you're willing to go across the street to Angry Horse Brewing. Service here is prompt and friendly. We usually get the Mexican Lollipop here. True, you can just get this in a can from Honest Abe which you can find in stores like Bevmo or Total Wine. But it's nothing like it drinking and dining with friends here. It's $8 without and $1 more with plus tax. As for the beers, they have some local brews such as some of my favorites in the likes of Radiant, Offshoot, Green Cheek Brewing. Ironically, you can also find Angry Horse beer here. They don't have a stout here when we were here. Boo... Lots of seating at Blvd Mkt, free parking is a plenty in the nearby neighborhood streets. read more

A food hall isn't complete without some alcohol! I went here on Saturday during their mardi gras celebration (which was so fun!) and stopped in Alchemy to grab drinks. They have a great selection of beers on tap and limited cocktail menu. Prices were about ~$10 per drink that I ordered, so not bad. Staff was really friendly answering questions and also prompt with getting drinks out so I didn't wait more than 15 minutes. I got the watermelon cider with the watermelon sugar rim which was really refreshing! Tasted like candy but not overly sweet. I also tried the cocktail they had which had a mix of tequila and sake -- gave me smokey margarita vibes and I'm not mad about it. Next time, I'll try their brews on tap! read more

Location is great, as it is in BLVD MRKT, so you can get a drink from Alchemy and choose food from several places. Nice picnic-style tables with umbrellas on the patio, or eat inside if it is too hot out. Service here is fabulous! They went above-and-beyond to ensure we had a great experience at BLVD. Wish they had a good Sour on tap but still enjoyed ourselves. read more

This place is amaaaazing!!!! I've brought numerous friends here and they all loved it and came back on their own. The drinks are amazing, we had the Palomas and micheladas. This place was great! I love how intimate it is, but also how closesly attached it is to the other food spots at the BLVD Market. I went for some Galentines day fun with my girlfriends and they had a DJ, a full decorated corridor, and people buzzing around. Since it was near the holiday they offered wine deals, and of course holiday drinks. They were doing special pink margaritas, topped with a heart straw, candy heart stirrer, and of course a nice spicy and sweet rim. I was going to opt to just get one drink but the bartenders didn't want me to miss out on a good deal. They mentioned 2 magaritas for $16. We love a great deal, so I couldn't hold back from this. I am not in this area too often, but I know that when I am I will be back for a much hyped Michelada. read more

Progress felt like home and the owners made you feel like you were hanging out in someone's backyard bar. Besides seeing someone piss themselves on a chair I never saw anything negative here. We took a small look around the brewery and didn't see anyone. The beertender was actually hidden towards the left and wasn't near the register. She didn't say anything nor greet us. In fact, I don't know if she said anything at all. We ordered out two beers and went to sit down. I found out that she was counting her minutes to leave and another beertender took her spot. We sat in the back where the music wasn't as loud so we can do some work. I ended up going back up to order their hot dog happy hour: a Boeman and a hot dog for $10. I then ordered myself a hot dog for $5 in addition to a Hazy IPA. the second beertender was a tad nicer than the first. She explained to me the discontinued beer, which I didn't know about. The hot dog was pretty good for the cost. It's bigger than a hot dog you'd get at a stadium and it was definitely half the price. They had ketchup packets and offered onions as a topping. As for their beers, it was decently priced with the haze I was expecting. They had a bigger crowd of people starting at 6 when we left. The parking lot was filled on both sides and people created their own lot with their cars. It's just odd how no one really comes throughout the day on a Sunday. They could offer more foods, snacks, or incentives to get people coming, but I didn't see any of that. The workers seemed not to care too much either, so that's a bummer. Again, lots of potential, but the care needs to be put in. I probably won't be back.

They seem to be pet friendly, they have a small front patio and a separate area/room which had a private event, so it left me curious to return and checkout to keep as an option for possible future event planning. I noted they don't sell food but have guest food vendors on occasion as well as live bands/music/DJ. They also have a point earning system and I believe a game night plus TV's to watch sports. There's a QR code at the lineup, and the menu has some good stuff. The HPB burger was good, although not particularly impressive, it was definitely a solid choice. The kale salad on the menu was good, and had goji berries, which I did not expect on a brewery menu. Their pretzel was delicious, and served warm and soft/chewy. Highly recommend their nitro stout. The service was pretty quick, and there were plenty of seating around, both inside and outside. Highly recommended for a chill night out with friends that like beer and burger.

That comes down to the parents being an active participant in this activity versus parents allowing their kids the freedom to do as they please while they relax, drink coffee, and scroll their phone/ computer. I was present with my little ones and was able to stop the bigger kids from hurting them.

However, the fried fish filets were lackluster, the fish came hot and a bit mushy. It tasted like the generic warmed up pre-frozen filets from Trader Joe's. The rice came lukewarm, but I appreciated how the salad tasted fresh and clean. The macaroni also had a pleasant light tang. Although I wouldn't reorder this meal, it's a satisfying budget meal. On ambiance, Don Katsu (Montebello) is unmemorable since it's a food court. However, the location felt clean and well tended. Also, I appreciate how this stall is near a cylinder with electrical plug outlets and the mall's restroom area. I felt safe as I ate. One thing I really appreciated was that the salad was dressed right before being packed instead of having the dressing served on the side. It still retained its fresh crunch, but the creamy dressing had time to coat every bite, making the salad much more flavorful. The bulgogi itself was tender, nicely charred, and packed with rich, savory flavor. It paired perfectly with the rice and made for a satisfying meal. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for a quick, delicious meal that's different from the usual katsu.

We parked in the faded parking lot in the front of the brewery. The parking is unclear as for the opposite side says no parking. We walked in, and felt very cold, since it was a rainy/cloudy day. They had their doors open that led towards he outside seating and the front entrance, so a breeze was going through. On a Sunday afternoon, it was not busy at all. We took a small look around the brewery and didn't see anyone. The beertender was actually hidden towards the left and wasn't near the register. She didn't say anything nor greet us. In fact, I don't know if she said anything at all. We ordered out two beers and went to sit down. I found out that she was counting her minutes to leave and another beertender took her spot. We sat in the back where the music wasn't as loud so we can do some work. I ended up going back up to order their hot dog happy hour: a Boeman and a hot dog for $10. I then ordered myself a hot dog for $5 in addition to a Hazy IPA. the second beertender was a tad nicer than the first. She explained to me the discontinued beer, which I didn't know about. The hot dog was pretty good for the cost. It's bigger than a hot dog you'd get at a stadium and it was definitely half the price. They had ketchup packets and offered onions as a topping. As for their beers, it was decently priced with the haze I was expecting. They had a bigger crowd of people starting at 6 when we left. The parking lot was filled on both sides and people created their own lot with their cars. It's just odd how no one really comes throughout the day on a Sunday. They could offer more foods, snacks, or incentives to get people coming, but I didn't see any of that. The workers seemed not to care too much either, so that's a bummer. Again, lots of potential, but the care needs to be put in. I probably won't be back.
