Spaghetti and Ravioli with a meatball

Thank goodness we made reservations for dinner, because the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Not to mention, there was a line out the door, but we were seated right away. It took a little while for the server to stop by our table after being seated, and it wasn't very easy for us to flag him down when we were ready to order and pay the bill. Another staff member actually had to bring our bill because we had no idea where our server was. Not a great impression regarding service. Although I will say, the runners were great. As far as the food goes, I set my expectations super low since I've had a lot of disappointing meals in CO so far. Somehow this restaurant still managed to disappoint us all though. All of our dishes were so bland, with the exception of the salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were probably the best thing we had during our meal. No amount of salt, pepper, parmesan, or red pepper flakes could've saved the entrees. My pasta was so floppy I could hardly pick it up with my fork, and the marsala sauce was lacking so much umami and other flavors. I could hardly taste the marsala and I personally don't like milk or cream added to the sauce--that's the first time I've had it that way and it's a hard pass. We left probably 90% of our food because it was that flavorless. Maybe the worst Italian food I've had out of all the restaurants I've dined at, in and outside of the U.S. More than $70 for this meal, not including the tip--definitely not worth it! I'll be cooking Italian meals at home from now on. Don't recommend.

It always about carb loading during training more so on race weekend. Nice bowl of pasta alway my go to day before the race. We found Italian spot near our BnB in Boulder. Gondolier Italian Eatery is lot nicer than it looks from the outside. It located in small shopping center on one end and really sign outside basic nothing sticks out. The minute walk inside impressed nice, modern, and upscale vibe to it. The bar area like set up decent size length and tv above, dining room assortment of tables to booths elevated above little bit and feel own space. It decent size restaurant in back enough room they do private party or events. The menu is pretty big and diverse. It defiantly has all your favorite Italian food and daily specials. I ended up ordering penne bolognese. I wanted try garlic knots so got order. They have do have Happy Hour menu. The pasta was delicious and hearty. Garlic knots nice and hot. Moist tore piece apart on point. It balance between buttery and garlic flavor. Overall classic Italian done right. The service five stars. Our server she was awesome!!

This was our bill for one pizza tonight. Definitely not worth $50

We were shocked when we picked up one $50 pizza! Beware each additional topping is 3 to 6 dollars. The pizza was just ok nothing special not even hot. We called in so did not see the pricing. Definitely not worth the price.

    Peach desert

Our favorite family restaurant has another great success with the end of summer specials. Palisade Peaches, wonderful garden fresh vegetables and delicious peach sangria! Absolutely fabulous! Always good but exceptional specials. You must have the peach dessert.

Staff was very friendly. The bread on my sandwich was pretty stale. Parts were rock hard. My kid's spaghetti was good though.

However, there were people sitting on their outside patio. Hardy folks, I guess! My friend was nursing a sore tummy, so she just had some grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. She loves everything she's had here. It was my first time. I ordered the chicken bowl with yakisoba noodles. It was lukewarm, but that's fine for me. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!

All good. I loved having a view of the bustle of the restaurant and especially all the parties celebrating birthdays. A few employees would gather at the table while delivering dessert and sing happy birthday. A few patrons like me joined them in the serenade. Such a warm, family vibe. A lovely gentleman sat in the open bar stool next to me. Turns out he's a regular and longtime Boulder resident. He gave me some menu tips. Plus it was fun to learn about him and his business. I had the red wine on tap. Delicious and $9. Two favorite qualities in wine. I got the bolognese with linguini. It was beyond fabulous. Insert chef's kiss! I took a small container home because I knew it would make a perfect lunch the next day, and it was. The rolls are divine. Hard, crunchy exterior with softness on the interior. I had one there and brought a second home to enjoy with lunch the next day. I know how to live. I enjoyed a short chat with Mariano, the owner's son who basically grew up there. It reminded me of all my favorite places in Philadelphia where I'm originally from. I had been missing my casual Italian restaurant places but now I've found my new home. Cin Cin!
