This new charming Italian restaurant (specializing in lasagna!) was impressive and the food was delicious! The lasagna we ordered was fresh, rich and flavorful. The pasta dishes were simple, delicious and perfectly al dente. The salad was also very fresh and contained quality ingredients. The perfect focaccia was fluffy, and the fried gnocchi appetizer was my ultimate favorite dish! :) Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance of the restaurant was so cute and cozy. The decor was pretty and inviting, and the lighting created a warm and intimate atmosphere. The service was the best we had received in a long time at any restaurant. Our server, Ahmet, was EXCELLENT! He was very experienced, knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. We had a disappointing experience. The hostess during our visit today 5/16/25 at 5:32pm was beyond rude! The restaurant was not full- I called the night before and a gentleman mentioned they don't take reservations and he got in trouble for doing so in the past. So my husband and I decided to get there early for a party of 4 and a baby the next day for a birthday celebration dinner. My husband went up at 5:32pm and the hostess let him know tables are available and 6pm would be fine. She even offered to sit us at the time but we said, no 6pm would be fine. We then texted the rest of our party and they got there at 5:48pm we proceeded to check in. The hostess was beyond rude and acted like she never spoke to my husband and dismissed us. She said, you can sit outside if you want but we don't have a table for you. We were floored. Had she said, we need to take the table right away when my husband went up the first time we would have taken the table. She was literally beyond callus and acted like we were just another number to add to the evening of guests arriving. My husband chuckled at me as he thought I was joking. It was as if she saw us and didn't want us to eat there. It was not only confusing and came off as dismissive and rude but she didn't even care to do any service recovery. A little clarity and courtesy would have gone a long way. Run don't go here and I'm glad we didn't based off several reviews! Unfortunately, this left a bad first impression. We will NEVER come back nor will we recommend this place! VERY rude! The sad thing is they have other restaurant names tied to them. We went down the street got authentic Italian and it felt like we were in Italy! The owner is Italian and rolls out the red carpet for his customers! He's amazing! It all worked out! Went last night for my son's birthday - our first visit wanting to try something new we discovered Capri on yelp. I'm so excited to have found such a little gem ! Capri has the yummiest fresh Italian fare. We ordered the meatball app, lobster ravioli, the traditional lasagna and tiramisu . Meal starts with delicious super tasty homemade focaccia -- I'm not usually a fan. My favorite dish was the lasagna it was dense but the ricotta( or mozzarella) filling had a fluffiness that came through and combined so perfectly with the meat & pasta therein. The lobster ravioli with creamy vodka sauce was superb as well, and represented my son's favorite - Finally we finished with the tiramisu and I think it was the best I've had in years - there was restraint used in the baking and prep . The vanilla flavor of the lady fingers actually came through and weren't swimming in doused in the coffee -liqueur syrup . The dessert was next level. Today we had dinner for the first time at Capri Lasagneria and the food was amazing! I don't often write reviews, but wanted to share our overall experience. We ordered the peach arugula salad which was delicious and refreshing, mushroom soup, mushroom ravioli made just right, yummy spaghetti bolognese, and a beer. We had some troubles with our salad and asked to have it removed from our check, but was offered our entire meal for free, plus free dessert. Definitely, not what we had expected, but super grateful for the warm gesture. The waiter and I believe the owner, were very kind and accommodating from beginning to end. What a gem! Came here tonight to celebrate my friend's birthday. She adores pasta and the menu looked really fun. This place is fantastic! The menu has great salads, wonderful lasagna choices, build your own pasta dish and then the specials. We split a Cesar salad. She then had one of the lasagna dishes and I had a pasta special which was pear pasta done in an Alfredo sauce with walnuts. Absolutely delicious!! The portions are very generous so we both have lunch for tomorrow. The restaurant also has a very nice wine and alcohol list but I was driving and she does not drink. Service: 10 stars!
