I am so glad that I found Capri Pizza. Just happened to be working in ossining and stopped in and have actually eaten here for the last 3 or 4 days. I must say I picked up a Philly cheese steak for me and my buddy that was working with me. Man will we surprise that was the best Philly cheese steak I've ever eaten. Not to mention everything else has been great that I've had at Capri. There's a lot of pizzerias out there but not a lot of good ones you just stands out as one of the great ones. Came to the area for work and needed a lunch spot that was quick/affordable/easy. Capri pizzeria checked every one of those boxes. I knew I wouldn't be getting gourmet food so I didn't have high expectations. That doesn't mean it was bad I just knew Wolfgang Puck wasn't cooking it. I wasn't crazy about the chicken caesar salad but it did the trick. The dressing didn't have that strong caesar taste that I sometimes get from the dressing. The grilled chicken was your standard grilled chicken so no complaints there. We ordered delivery and it came fast and hot. It was a big portion for a good price. Nothing to complain about there. Honestly the foods really good, only downfall is they run out of speciality pizza slices pretty early in the night. Besides that the staff is so nice and welcoming, food never takes too long, and it a great quick dinner spot! Update: HIGHLY disappointed that the menu has changed and rice is no longer offered as an alternative to pasta with the chicken Francese. Doesn't really make sense to me as rice is so cheap. It used to be that you got bread, a salad and the entree. They've removed the salad and bread. I've been eating here for years and this visit was the first time I needed to add salt and pepper to the dish. It's no longer worth it to make the trip over the bridge from Rockland, unfortunately. read more

He never took the order, he only saw that I was a single person and maybe because of how I look, I am just another customer, they should give priority to all customers equally. It is very annoying to see them get carried away by appearances. I left him a tip, not because of the service. If not so that he learns to value all clients in the same way, the young woman who serves, I don't know her name, was friendly all the time!! My husband is obsessed with the thin crust pizza and turkey BLAT. Both of those things are quite good. However the pasta takeout and the thick Sicilian crust pizza were not good. Prices are fair and portions are large but the taste just isn't as exceptional as you want it to be. We will be back for the thin crust pizza and that's probably all. read more

Very upset with service. Yesterday my family and I ordered from Capri for dinner. By the time we finished placing the order, it was told to us that it would be delivered in 50 mins. 1 hr and 20 min went by, we still had no food. We called the restaurant and they told us the food will be there in 10 min. 20 min later the food arrived and food was cold. Seems like food was just sitting around before it got delivered. Aside from the Pizza, I got had a great dish of indigestion. In all seriousness, I ordered the Chicken Caprese and it was so sour that I could not get 25% of the way through it. The sauces they have are at best Ragu sauce. The price paid was high for the food quality. I would not come back for anything other than the pizza. Something has changed there. The food isn't very good, it's very salty. Pizza has no flavor, crust is dry and brittle. The worst part about it is they chew gum while serving food (note girl at register who is also behind pizza counter). That is a severe health code violation and they can be shut down by the Board of Health. Who wants her germs as she's chewing like a cow on a cud - it's disgusting. I'm done there. There are other places in town to go to. Their eggplant parm hero is some fried eggplant thrown on a roll, cheese and sauce thrown on it and then baked. You would think an Italian restaurant would cook the eggplant parm all together and then put that on the roll. There is not any care put into the food the cook or serve. This past time was garlic knots and then took another 45 minutes for delivery after we paid for them. They were also cold and not good. My husband and I ordered takeout this evening. We got 1 slice of white pizza, one slice of BCR pizza, mozzarella sticks and a cannoli for dessert. Overall we are unimpressed. We have been ordering from Capri in Tarrytown on a regular basis, at least twice per month for over one year. The food is delicious. The portions are large and each entree comes with a descent sized salad, a choice of a pasta side and delicious ciabatta rolls. The pizza is also great. Why did I wait so long to try this place?? I usually go to another pizza place or have it delivered when I do my work from home day once a week. The place I normally order from didn't have a delivery guy today and I didn't feel like running out so I googled pizza places in Ossining that deliver. This place came up. I decided to try it. The chicken marsala was incredible and their pizza was piping hot and really yummy. Its like NYC quality pizza. The prices are reasonable and during lunch time they delivered in less than 30 minutes. After going to Capri in Tarrytown, my mom and I decided to try this location (which have separate owners and are not affiliated with each other). This Capri is leaps and bounds better than the Tarrytown one. The service is great and the wait staff are very attentive to your needs. I have yet to try the pizza at this location, but all of the dishes my mom and I have ever gotten have been very tasty. Recently, I got the pasta Daniela with veal which has tomatoes, broccoli and garlic in a white wine sauce. I asked for it with no tomatoes and they accidentally put tomatoes on it. They offered to make me a new one, but I declined and ate it anyway. It was very tasty and I was thankful that although they messed up, they offered to rectify it quickly. The portions are very big, too. I ate some of it and still have 2 more meals as leftovers! Overall, this is a great restaurant and I will be coming back again. read more
